Hello together, I’m looking for possible solutions for a problem with one of our two Volvo 850 … vehicle: Volvo 850 LW (comb) 2.5 l, 140 kW, key number 9101 / 495 Bj 1994 Symptom: engine runs from start round, turns easily high at the beginning. After about 20 min. it “swallows” itself while gas. Critical speed range: approx. 1600 – 1800 rpm. Above it runs round, below it also, only the gas giving causes dropouts, especially on the mountain, so under load, or at fast durc The drop-outs become more and more frequent / heavier and it finally goes out with the gas, then does not start any more. After about 60 minutes it starts again than its NOTHING was… runs well-tempered in the stand and turns again high… until after some time, so again after 20 to 40 minutes everything reoccurs again. Suspect: error in the ignition electric. Diagnosis of the workshop: ignition coil is through. Thermal expansion, thus possibly mass closure or reduced conductivity. Recommendation of the workshop: Change ignition coil. Action: New ignition coil of PolarParts installed. Ignition cable coil>Distributor also renewed. The gas acceptance now feels “agile” but the swallowing and the described symptoms are still there. Other: vehicle was completely overhauled 3 months ago, new HU, engine-side work: valve shaft seals new, timing belts, water pump, oil trap new, camshaft sensor cleaned, candles new, distributor un d Finger new, ignition cable distributor>Cancel new. What to do? What to do as a source of error? Exchange ECU? I am grateful for ideas and tips!

Volvo V70 TDI – Injection pump failure from 160km/h
Hello Volvo screwdriver, I bought a Volvo V70 TDI, built in 1998, 340,000km on the clock. When I bought it, I read the start of the conveyor, because it was bad. To do this, it deleted the fault memory, because it showed an error of the radiator fan. During the transfer drive, it made a mistake from 160 km/h and the engine control light went on. After a long break, the error was gone. Then it came back again. At home read out again EFI 718 Ignition timing control Then I did the start of the conveyor and the memory is deleted again. Now it starts well. Yesterday I am on the track and again he made a mistake from 160-170 km/h. And again: EFI 718 Ignition timing control Since he always spits out this specifically depending on the speed, I first thought of the charging pressure valve until I had read out the error. What can be the problem here? Volume setting of the ESP? Wear of the pump? Needle lifting device? Static injection time? Dan no for input and advice.

Very slow falling speed (empty speed regulator valve)
Hello together, My 95 Volvo 850 (petrol with 144ps) makes fax times again. Problem is that it goes down while driving with the speed only extremely slowly. As a result, the actual braking effect when gasless rather converts to acceleration. At the gas train it can not lie (my first thought). After a little search with the mechanic of my trust, it turned out that the problem can be fixed with the idle control valve. In turn, I was thoroughly cleaned with brake cleaners. However, this did not solve the problem. Will I have a new old replacement installation and hope that it will be done with it. Does anyone have any other ideas about what it might be or experiences in the direction? Greetings Geiger

Yatour at SC-802
Hello friends of digital music, I ordered a Yatour MP3 USB adapter after some time of thinking and would like to write down a few info’s which I had to gather from many individual contributions. 1. The connection I had connected the adapter very blue-eyed to Dauerplus and was only once mercilessly satisfied. Then I realized at some point that when the radio was dialed on the changer, the radio did not go off when I pulled off the ignition key…. Al This article helped me with this: Quote: Original written by scutyde Masse was black with me, Lastingplus was brown/green and ignitionplus yellow/lila vehicle a V70I Built 97 2. Sorting Since SC-802 only a maximum of six CD’s could be selected which I had also created on the stick (CD01, CD02 …..) I copied several albums into a folder and provided the names with a previous consecutive numbering. (001_Title, 002_ Title….. Next album with 101_Title, 102_Title…. ) Only unfortunately the play sequence was still confused. The titles were sorted by date or copy daum, exactly I didn’t track that. Then this post brought me further: Quote: Original written by L15RDO6W1R Just the right recommendation, a big thank you again for this important info!! 3. Lists Since I had now in each folder at least five albums and can not keep all this in mind. I have tried several programs and stayed stuck with them because I liked it best: this list was printed as text and in a text processing, e.g. Open Office provided me with a numbering now shows me which number a certain title has on the respective CD. I still have a few more tracks on the same CD. Pictures on and hope all the problems with the Yatour have helped a little bit.

Car does not start in warm condition on the first start attempt, only on the second attempt
Hello, my wife currently has a problem with your Volvo V70 T5. If the car is issued in a warm way and is to be restarted afterwards, it usually does not jump on but only comes up to about 500 revolutions and goes out again. On the second attempt it then starts completely normal. Does anyone have an idea what could be? The air mass meter was changed only last year.

Volvo 854 GLT 2.5 20V Built 92 Conversion to T-5 Possible ?
Moin people, and that’s what I thought about my Red GLT Limo. And that’s what it would be possible to convert it to a T-5 engine? Would have liked to have the 2.0 20V Turbo from my Italo (is more splashy at the start and also more revolving because of the smaller engine capacity) What would have to be changed? Since my GLT Limo is from year 92, and most of the Turbos from 94, I guess the harness has to be adapted as well. can I actually leave the 4×108 hole circle in it or ? If no, I would of course on 5x108er LK conversions. Chassis, was this changed to the model years ? If no I would also have the current installed. Transmission and drive train are indeed different to the T5, or can I leave the drive shafts in it ? Who would like to help me answer the question ? He may be delighted at this topic and write a bit about it

SC-901 does not like CD ́S
I have the problem that my SC-901 doesn’t like CD`S. I push in the magazine of 3, it is loaded, it is brought out again, it is loaded, it is extended, etc. and that in endless loop. Fortunately, the changer works in the trunk 🙁 By the way, it is original CD ́S.

Very strange problems with steering
Hello together, since I have arrived at the end of my Latin, I present here my problem, which I find so puzzling that I simply hope that one of you can solve it. So: I drive a Volvo V70 ( 1998 ) TDI. In autumn last year my steering deteriorated and I thought maybe the servo oil is finished or the pump is gone. However, the typical noise development was missing. The deterioration in steering behaviour turned out to be like folg t dar: I started with best steering behaviour and after about 30 minutes of road I gradually had the feeling that I always steered against a strong resistance, at first especially in long curves, in the further course then basically and at all speeds. To describe the type of resistance: When driving it was always as if I was overturning or spanning a clockwork. Quite strange. Well, so I’m the screwdriver of my trust. t everything apart (cleaning servo pump, steering gears, replacement of the attached crossbars front, replacement of the servo oil, as this was foamy for some reasons). After that everything was nice, although a massive error was not apparent for him. A month later: everything again from the front. Again replacement of the servo oil. No effect. Then replacement of the servo pump and container: no effect. Then (my account was increasingly empty) replacement of the steering gear. Finally better, without d if my screwdriver – which I think is really good, reliable and trustworthy in itself – would have found a recognizable mistake/damage somewhere at all. But: Now (the exchange is about 3 weeks ago) I have the feeling that it is getting worse again. In order not to have to think myself completely crazy now, it would be nice if someone could give me a tip here about what the phenomenon could have to do with. Many thanks in advance, Wolfgang

Tüv to older vehicles.
Hello dear friends of the old vehicles. I have already read some articles in the “Oltimer Markt” about Tüv practices (minor ratings) and would like to hear your opinion about it. I myself drive an old Volvo 850 bj 96. I have been driving to the TÜV almost always a second time because of e.g. rusted brake discs or other small stuff. Is not in principle so dramatic?!….but still sometimes annoying. P.s. But this should not become a thread for old gammel carts. I think it is very good that we have relatively reasonable cars on the roads in Germany. How is it going with you?
