Hey all V 70 one fans, I greet you!! Drive now for 11 years V70 and want nothing else more. Currently: 3 x 2.5 T 97er and GAS, and in the hands of friends 1x 2.5 T 99er gasolineerFreue me for exchange with you. The 99er petroler has a very special star problem: He always runs on , but quite differently bad! To zero degrees around very bad in the morning, then when he has run times he starts a little better. In the summer he starts sloppy , and when he is then warm / hot , then it’s really bad with the start. Up to thirty times the start attempt possibly, BUT THEN WHEN HE LEARNS THROUGH HE ALWAYS NEEDS LIKE. This one of all four has the best agility “in my care “. Have tried a lot over the years that this already goes on. Until the exchange of the ECU , all relevant sensors, injection rail overtakes, ignition coils, spark plugs ……… .. Greetings the Günter, at home in 89264.

Volvo puzzling pole on the headlight?
Hi, everybody! I came across the following picture of a Volvo with a “stick” on the headlights. Unfortunately, I can’t find anything on the Internet about how this “stick” could be called and if you can drive it in DE? Does someone know about it? Thank you!

Volvo 850 Limo rear bumper holder
Hello, with my 850 Limo, the bumper holders at the back both look quite crispy, one of them has already been fried. Yeah! New is only available for the right. Is there the only difference between left and right in the two holes with which they are screwed to the longitudinal beam? If yes, I would just buy two for the right and drill suitable holes myself.

Set door / window at the C70 Convertible
Hello, a question to the experts among you: I have already tried to adjust the door lock so that the door is more attracted to the Kraosserie. It is then tighter, the noise is much smaller. But the “misposition” at the upper edge of the windows becomes even larger, and there is then a heel between the body and the door. So this cannot be the solution of the problem. I have attached a few pictures to which you can see the effect: Misplace ung panes: picture 1, picture 2, picture 3, picture 4 misposition door: picture 5, picture 6, picture 7 Do you have to adjust the inclination of the windows? Thanks for all the answers.

C70 Cabrio engine bearing driver side – solution for discontinued component
Hello together since I still want to drive my convertible for a long time and possibly to inherit my daughter, I made myself after 25 years to the rubber bearings. As one or the other has already determined, not all spare parts are available anymore (some neither from Volvo nor from the aftermarket). So I went with the engine bearing on the driver side (8631357) which is of course different with the convertible than with limousine, station wagon and Coupe The solution is to use bearing of the four-wheeled vehicles ( 9161101). That fits at least geometrically, whether the rubber bearing fits from the hardness, of course, I cannot understand, but since the five cylinder is installed everywhere, it will be the same or at least similar. Would I be happy if that helps someone.

Does the radio fit?
Hello all, I have a new radio to buy for my Volvo V70 I Built 99. To be exact this one here.https://www.kenwood.de/car/multimedia/moniceiver/DMX120BT/ A colleague would give me his used one because he bought a new car and didn’t need the old radio. He just meant the iso adapter and a frame. Can one of you confirm this? Greetings from Lauchimvolvo

ABS control unit – Where installed? (Abs lights up..)
Hello Volvo fans, I have a Volvo 850 with which the ABS lamp lights up and I have to pass the Tüv. I have already read a lot and just tap on the cold soldering points (or hope it is) as it is classic with the 850. I have read out the error 4-4-4 was the first one. He cannot be deleted. The lamp does not go out. To the vehicle: Volvo 850, EZ 11/1994, Kombi I would like to expand the control unit and check the soldering points. But I can’t find it. can someone tell me where it is? Would be very grateful about quick help. Sincerely 0x7

Strange hum at V70 I
Moinsen, I’ve had strange noises in the V70 (T5, year 97) for a few weeks now. It’s a kind of hum… sounds almost like an old bomber is approaching. Or as if an off-road vehicle is passing with an extreme terrain profile. It’s particularly violent at the following speeds: 60 km/h (here it starts) 90 km/h (here it’s really loud) at the 110 km/h (here it’s really loud again) below, between or over these speeds nothing is heard up to almost nothing. To come to the front right, however, with loud, deep sounds it is always stupid to locate. Still striking: In left curves (load on front right) it gets louder. In right curves (kaum load on front right) the noise is gone (or almost away). The tires are still new and the same as in the brum free time (Michelin CrossClimate). The tyre pressure fits. I tested wheel bearings already with the forest and meadow method, but make a 1 A impression. It came from a T ag on the other and is sometimes felt worse, sometimes less bad. I have no idea… maybe track / fall? Has someone ever experienced something like this and a tip before I have to do the axe survey in vain?

Volvo 850 2.5 R5 TDI
Hello guys, I’m thinking about getting a 850 2.5 R5 TDI and I wanted to ask you if you can give me a few tips on what I have to pay attention to with the old Swedes tanks. And what is the KM limit? For all petrol fans: Yes, I’m aware that I can’t drive with a diesel to certain cities, but I live in Ö and like the driving behavior of a diesel simply prefers Thanks in advance!

Coolant exits + knocking noises 850/10V BJ96
Hello dear forum the other day it probably did PENG in the workshop and the screw on the drain tap of the cooler said goodbye. Strange was only that the temperature was probably not too high. (according to the description of the workshop) Well, the cooler was patched and I could drive again. However, only about 2 days. Then the coolant came out again. Although not abrupt, but probably steady up to the MIN display of the coolant tank. The patch is absolutely tight. I have in the anh In addition, one hears a kind of knocking noise, which always (threatfully) becomes louder when one starts the good. My guess is that a line is clogged and that the overpressure has arisen. Because one has only patched the hole at first, the actual damage has not been fixed of course. Do you have ideas or experiences with such peculiarities? For all the ideas already in advance a big thank you! All of them…
