Hello Elchdriver, search for description or instructions for the timing belt change V 70 I Tdi. The joke should cost in the workshop approx. 800 € (incl. water pump), there could also be a change of the vibration damper (if it is no longer impeccable), additionally approx. 400 € Since I once learned car mechanic ( Ford), I carry with the thought to do it myself. Does anyone have a description or instruction (tooth belt change) that He could let me come to??? M. f. G. Wolfgang

Help at 850 T5 speed up with jerking
Hello! yesterday I bought a 95er 850 T5 automatic. I noticed right at the pick-up already that he runs quite normal with quarter gas but only up to 3000u/min everything that goes on he starts to jerk and when I latch on the kick down then it feels like he wants to switch the whole time again into the kick down although he already has it in use anyway. Today I also read in the description how the display of the turbo pointer should spark but the stands in the middle and does not move! Tubes I found however no loose ones? Today I read out the following codes: Box A socket 1: 311 socket 2: 232, 231, 314 socket 3: 444, 141, 142 socket 7: 113 Have the errors once Googleled and found out that the Lambda, the camshaft sensor and the speed sensor must be from the transmission? Do I lie right there or have someone already had something like that or know how to help? Nockshaft sensor I got worried now but he will only be able to put on the load on me next week but Alex would like to know what to do with the full load on Wednesday with me

Loud noise while driving, especially at higher speeds.
Hello, for some time now my Volvo has been running at higher speeds – from about 50/60 kmh – loud running noises. My tyres can’t be because I’ve been driving for a while and the noises have not been present before. It comes from the front, probably left side. To check, we went as follows: vehicle is bucked up, right front wheel is manually blocked, engine is switched on, individual gears are switched on and there was a grinding noise in the area between wheel sprocket and gearbox at higher speeds. Then left front wheel is blocked, engine is blocked, and fixed that with increasing wheel speed on the right, a flickering noise in the area of the gearbox rose parallel to it. Then, to check both front wheels run at the same speed, only the grinding sound of the left side was noticeable. Both brakes were completely open and thus had no contact to the brake disc. We checked gear oil before, the oil stand was flawless! I am worried that it could be the gear? Or can it be the wheel bearing? Evt. other bearings in this area can help me.

Buy 850 Limosine
Hello my name is Philipp, I need some advice about buying used cars from you, this is the one here:http://suchen.mobile.de/…/186267220.html?… I visited him today and tried it but only in the commercial area without a license plate. Kickdown, took gas neatly. Braked pulled slightly to the left. I noticed the following negative things: Both rear wheel runs repainted, then under luggage mat and looked from below, but does not look like rear hit, according to the seller Parkrempler, well exhaust röhrt, but comes out of the tailpipe, flex tube and dumpsters are dense. too small battery installed brakes at the front pull out positive: climate, electr. seat adjustment, window lifter, seat heating, etc. goes well. Engine runs well, automatic switches clean oil in the gearbox is pink and straight normal. In the engine room nothing is still noticeable. In the lift, everything is dry from below, axles and track rods are dry. Service booklet until 2010 was registered completely with Volvo?

Engine sawing…
Hello community, have a problem that makes itself felt like follow. Start and then the engine runs unround…between 500 and 1500 revolutions. then opened the bonnet and after a few minutes found a vacuum hose which lies freely in the engine room. He does where also the other vacuum hoses come from. Was also just in an ADAC workshop because I needed a stage after all I could not see where the one has to go. Even the mechanics have visited 20 minutes but everything without success. And since I am just in Jena and the Volvo workshop closes here already at 12 o’clock I can not expect any help there either. the end of the hose was put on it with a rubber sleeve which is torn in and at one side something is gone. So I thought that somewhere below the bridge is somewhere to settle. But I can’t find anything. Have all conceivable length paths checked where he might fit. …but I am with my Latin in this regard at the END. I guess there it sounds as if he is attracted to LUFT. But I don’t know how to do it with the LMM or maybe I’m grateful for the help.

850 on good luck from the “Ali” buy; yes or no?
Hello! I am looking for a robust winter car for the coming years and am on the net on a black 850 station wagon with the 170hp engine (petrol engine). Running power approx. 280tkm, Bj 02/96, leather equipment, seat heating, el. seats, climate, etc. FP: 550€. After a telephone call with the seller (bad German, small dealer) I learned that the Bock has no TÜV anymore. On my question whether TÜV-relevant defects are known, he (he wanted?) could not say anything. On the pictures the car looks quite ok, also the interior equipment. Since I have quite good screwdriver experience, I would like to look at the part and try to estimate as far as it is possible, whether the TÜV can be obtained with medium effort. The basic points I look at. What do I have to pay attention to with the model and the running line in particular? Well noticed: a lifting platform will not be there, it remains with probably only a test ride and the evaluation of the road can be done. Thanks to the TÜV.

Should I buy a V70?
Hello all, I’m currently driving a VW Bus T3 on Autogas conversion, but logically I don’t have an environmental badge. Now I’ve saved some money (5000 €) and would like to buy a combination with a green badge. I keep hitting a Volvo V70… Now I’m going to ask what I have to pay attention to and if this is a good choice, the V70. How about the rust? Running performance? How much PS should he have? Are there many repairs? I always have to do with my VW bus! Would the V70I or II be better? Do you know a better car at this maximum price (500€), as said Kombi green badge.

multiple error codes
Day said, I have the following problem, I suddenly have several error codes in it which are permanent, after delete and start the engine all errors come back immediately at the same time. Errors would be: LMM defective- a year ago renewed by bosch rear knock sensor- have 2 new installed of bosch Lambda values in the border area DK signal unplausible- have other used installed cooling signal faulty Volvo told me then it could be a mass error, have taken off the suction bridge, all mass cables free of corrosion and fixed again, after that unfortunately the errors still remain. What else for reasons besides mass errors? They have said that they are straight stunned and think about how we can continue or rather look. would be cool if someone else knew what could cause so many errors at once. At the moment the good one drives in emergency run, that sucks totally.. Greeting!

Not to believe but I wanted to change my light bulbs!!! Change the bulb from the left headlight without problems… everything is perfect!!! So and now the one from the right headlight. First of all there is a different frame and then the new headlight is a little bit bigger and somehow doesn’t fit properly. I want to take it back heres and what happens… the plug connection dissolves and the bulb falls into the headlight housing!!!! WHY???? Why are the sockets and plug connections different??? And how can I now open the headlight to get the bulb out???
