Hej allihoppa! This afternoon it was time. My new ‘alter’ was registered and picked up. It’s an 854 10V with 140hp. At the first test drive my heart melted away and the swelling body in my limb hardened (), when I threw on the engine and heard the tubes of this fantastic 5-ender. 213 000 km are standing on the clock and the engine runs silky soft, like a glare. All necessary services were made, no maintenance stowage. Very well maintained. Full leather, leather steering wheel, ZV with radio, seat heating, electric sliding roof, headlight washing system. NO climate, no el. window lifter…and proud of it The only flaws he has: stone blow in the WSS (not Pickerl-Relevant), stone blows on the hood, 2 small bumps and scratches in the driver’s door (there the previous owner once overlooked a flower boxer). Comparison trip C70 – urgent problem !!!
Hello Elchgemeinde, I have the problem that because of a warranty dispute with my C70 which I bought last year from a dealer I need a “comparative vehicle” for the expert ( with similar high KM running performance Bj 2001 about 75tkm ) … Background : My C70 drives in and for itself great, but has extreme vibrations/vibrations in the steering wheel, the whole steering column swings unbearable. The SV has also confirmed this, it goes far beyond the “normal” torsion problems that are due to construction. However, it needs for the opinion an objective comparison. And our beautiful Cabrios unfortunately do not exist sooo often like a Golf Cabrio that every dealer has standing around somewhere… Therefore my polite question : Would someone be basically ready with me to make a comparison journey and the expert? Pro logic center speaker defective?
Hi dear volvofriends, I have a small problem. My center speaker in the middle of the armature board is very bassy i.e. when I activate the pro logic function in my radio it “shrinks” extremely. Do you have to turn it off immediately because it sounds so bad! If I can reduce the bass controller to a minimum. But is not the point of the matter. For me it sounds defective. Is this normal or do I have to change the speaker? If it does have which speakers and what does it cost and can possibly have someone instructed how to change it? Have the c70 not so long yet, therefore I have no experience with the installed system. Would I be very happy about any information!

C70 2.4T Automatic and PPC ?!
Hello I have a modest question I’m playing with the idea of giving me a BSR PPC for my Volvo C70 2.4T (bj 01) with 5 levels automatic. Only now I’m a little confused on the homepage (link to the PPC kit for my vehicle)http://www.bsr-tuning.de/tuning-kits/t/1538 There’s power original: 199 hp and 303 NM with PPC 239 hp and 392 NM But the 2.4T does have 193 hp and 270 NM?! Brake discs, etc….
So….because my front brake discs are slowly, but surely, an ever deeper edge, I have already made up my mind today, which should be next. I have no idea what is currently installed. The moose is only at the end of this month 1 year with me. Oil consumption, where to start first?
Dear community, my rolling living room (Volvo 850 year of construction `95, petrol 2.0 10V (no turbo), 240.000km) unfortunately tends something to the oil consumption (0,8-1,0L/1000km) and emits blue clouds. After all kinds of research I first tap on the valve shaft seals, second on the piston rings. But I can not get it out quite clearly, therefore I would like to describe the symptoms and maybe you can give me tips where to reach first (or there are still other probable possibilities?). In cold or lukewarm condition there is nothing to see, no smoke. Ok, water vapor if it is cold, but that seems really ok to me. Only if the engine is nice and warm the thing comes to mind. And indeed after short idle time (from 10s) and following gas shock or after mountain descent in the sliding operation. Then smoky short blue and then it is good again. Probably everything is repeated at any time. Otherwise there is nothing to be noticed. Black soot is naturally inside in the exhaust. During the empty run or normal ride, there is nothing to notice. Then you should have taken the oil with your car.

Cooler defective / coolant outlet valve?
Hello, I had to stop my ride the other day because at my beautiful Volvo 850 (BJ 10/96; 2.5l/144PS) the warning indicator (cooling agent) lit up. So, to the right, got off and amazed. The total content of the cooling system flowed out of my vehicle to the road. Beautiful Sch****! Although it was totally unspectacular and there was no smoke or other special effects, I had to stop the ride here and let the car stand. My main question is, where is the valve (is there such a thing) to let off coolant? VIelleicht has opened this by accident?! I don’t want to think about the fact that the total cooler could have been broken, so it is thought of other flaws. And do you have a tip for a friend in the Cologne area? Moin people, I saw a C70 convertible the other day and was enthusiastic about the great design (and the 4 “real” seats). I made myself smart with mobile and autoscout and found quite a lot of offers. After I had informed myself a little bit, the following model would be in my choice for me: – fabric cover – year after 2002 – because afterwards there was a light facelift among other things with clear glass headlights and improved cover. QUESTION: Does someone have a tip, which is the best motorization? – I mean, which engine is powerful enough but also reliable. And: Is the manual transmission or the automatic transmission more recommended? – At the moment I tend more to the automatic, which is probably more suited to the relaxed sliding.
