Hi I recently replaced my SC-901 radio with an accessory radio in the C70. Now I am faced with a small problem which I noticed only today completely. I changed from DAB+ to VHF times and absolutely no reception at all, only rushing DAB+ reception is good in the city, outside so la la, often reception breaks (though maybe would be normal at DAB+) but also somehow not because I am in the vicinity of cities should that be good? Anyway, guess Is this “Dietz Adapter” used and it should actually power the antenna. As far as I know, the antenna is supplied via a cable on the plug and not by phantom feed through the antenna cable? I don’t know which cable is for the antenna amplifier and whether all pins are correctly arranged on the Dietz Adapter. Didn’t pay attention to this but only seen radio goes on and it comes to sound rough s (DAB+) Also a possibility where I have just thought about it is the splitter to be able to use the built-in VHF antenna for DAB+. I bought one where there is still an additional amplifier on it with 12v on ignition. Possibly the part to blame? Do not know now whether DAB+ should also be completely dead without antenna amplifier or whether it would be enough for the city even without just as much hmm would be grateful for some tips. Replacement Nivomat for normal shock absorbers
Hello together. In the Sufu I read that you can’t just replace the Nivomat dampers with normal ones. So far so good. But why? What’s different about the normal ones (except of course the Nivo balance)? And if it’s really not possible, what do I have to do? I’ve always read about a complete suspension. I don’t look through it somehow. And I’ve looked a little bit after the nivomates. I see a connection to the pictures. Or is the one on the pictures n I found just not to see?

Engine does not start
Hello, After I have removed the engine of my V70 I built in 1998 (B5204T3/M56) and now installed again (engine was running during removal) the car will no longer start. Timing belt markings match exactly the crankshaft and both camshafts, fuel pressure is also there (tested on the blue cap on the single-point strip).Zündung should also have, insofar as I put the cables in the correct order on the cap (Have oriented me to my suction cup V70 with the 2.4 l engine). I checked the plugs of camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor and air mass meter. I also developed air filters in my desperation to ensure that he also gets enough air. Did not bring any change with him, the car continues to oril but does not start. I don’t know any more and I am grateful for every tip.

Volvo V70 brakes conversion to multi-piston system
Hi guys, I’ve been upgrading the brakes just as strongly since a strong braking on the highway. The fact is that it has to and should, out of technical as well as optical necessity, catch a multi-piston fixed saddle. Specifically, I have 2 systems in my sights. A Heico/AP Racing system and a Tarox 6 piston system. The AP is used, the Tarox flame new. Now comes an important point, the original Comet must remain, which would otherwise take along a lot of character. as far as I have seen and read it plug&play is only there the question whether someone has registered or how it stands with a registration and whether the Heico report can play a role. As far as the Tarox, there must be mounted 10mm track plates at the front which I really don’t like to do, but what does it have to do. The Tarox comes with strength proofs as well as comparative reports from a Golf Gti with comparable equipment. Has any of you ever had all this behind you? I’m completely open to experience. This is about pure more piston systems, of everything that has to do with the original 1 piston saddle I take distance. Thank you

So, dear VOLVO community, I’m doing something that isn’t really welcome here – I’m advertising! A few weeks ago, a member of this group was shoved after – admittedly very trolly – advertising entries for his own developed repair kit for a defective cargo space cover on the 850 and V70. I’ve done a little stuff myself, but my curiosity was aroused. I didn’t order the set. I don’t know “human child”, I’m not related, I’m married or I’m involved. It’s a great VOLVO word of honor! Nevertheless:Absolute purchase recommendation!! My LRA made a nasty noise a few weeks ago and then just let itself hang. I didn’t get any further with glue or the like. With this set the Rollo is now absolutely safe and you can bring in such a right tension. There is an illustrated description, which you can send you gladly – simple, thoughtful and worth his money for me, because I am not willing, 100 euros for a used LRA again. So again: this advertisement is a real TIP! And the trolling also makes man-child sorry… Has probably a little hyperventilated after his invention… If you have any questions you can contact me. Hello, I just had an offer for the complete set of oil trap and accessories made. There is the following remark: “Attention: It may be that your car still has the old oil trap housing no longer available. in this case the tap sensors have to be changed. Presentation of my V70 2.4T LPG
Hello friends of the V70 forum, As you know, I was with TERWI in a lively exchange regarding a new mobile kit. I do not want to withhold my new toy and wish you a lot of fun while watching the pictures The car cost: 360€ Prins gas system: 1900€ incl. turbo and tank plug in the tank cover (yes, from a certified gas builder who has already converted many V models!!!) I did a few things, e.g. the lamp from the gear indicator was defective, the rubber Ing from the oil cover was brittle and therefore leaking, a bit of silicone spray here and there to make things happen again. New radio remote control purchased, unfortunately not yet functional. New fixing eyes are ordered to get the trunk cover back firmly, cathedral bearings are ordered back, because it is a bit polishy. For the age and the KM performance however everything in all a very well maintained car (Ne, TERWI?), which hopefully still gives me long joy. Jacky

Sound turbocharger or power steering ?
Hello all, I have the following question… every one of you knows the sound that gives the power steering at a strong impact of itself. In about this sound I also hear more often, if I just go straight out, idR but then, when the vehicle has warmed up… it is not very loud, but I hear it. I thought it was the power steering at first, but since I also hear that when driving straight out, I actually excluded it again. s comes from the turbocharger, I imagine that it is a bit more interesting when I was on the highway…has someone had that already or an idea or is that possibly also normal? Hello together, I have just the possibility of an older lady to buy an 854: Bj, 1996, about 140,000 km run, outside so far O.K., TÜV expired, 2.5 10V, 144 HP I always liked the cars, but somehow we never got together.
