Hello, I’ve signed up for this forum and need a few tips on how to make the decision. After years of Toyota cars, of which I still have 3 classic cars, I would like to buy a C70 convertible as a everyday car. I have already limited the search so that the model should have over 200hp. The big question now is which is the better, the 2.4L with 200hp or the 2.3L with 239hp, switch or automatic. Maybe you can give me here in the forum yes he and take me one step further in the decision. Greetings Marco

Searched: Source for normal suspension springs
Hoiho, I searched for a while, and always find only individual suspension springs offered new. But for my combo soon a complete set of non-lowering springs, since the roads in our area are not so the bringer I want to put it up again and throw out the H&R springs. Since on the occasion also my Nivos fly out and a tuning damper set comes in it should be normal (or just the reinforced) springs. Some idea where I get a complete set here? At the relevant dealers, only lowering springs as a complete set, and standard springs individually at ridiculously high prices.

Best tyre cross-section for Columba rims? Determine roll circumference?
Hello, I drive a V 70 TDI from 6/99. The previous owner has mounted aluminium rims in size 8×17 with 215/45 tires. I am now considering mounting Columba rims (6.5 x 16). My questions to you are: Which cross section for the tyre width 205 is mounted on the Columba rims on the factory side? Or which cross section is recommended? I have seen many Columba rims with 205/50 tires, some with 55s and a set with 60s. Are therefore the 50s the most suitable? And secondly: How can I determine the roll circumference without measuring (since I don’t have the rims yet), because depending on the cross-section the actual top speed changes? Thanks already for your help! Many greetings, ms-driver

A newcomer with a C 70 2.5 T
Hello together, since I am new here I would like to introduce myself briefly. I am 39 years old and a bit car crazy. Had already a lot of cars, but not yet Sweden. I recently drove a Benz, which however did not make me happy. Reperaturstau etc. Just got me today a 1998 ́iger C 70 2.5 T. Very nice car as I find. Now during the journey home on the highway made me the following stutzig: The car has an automatic transmission and somehow feels It turns on as if it only switches the first three gears and not in the fourth. At approx. 100 km/h it turns about 3000 tours. At 160 km/h we are then already in the range of approx. 5000 tours. Maybe I am also wrong and everything is completely normal and I make myself a monkey at the beginning. I mostly drove larger six- or eight-cylinders. There were correspondingly less speeds at 100 km/h. I think you certainly have an explanation for me. Thank you and greeting Z corner

E10 . Kneel of politicians before lobbies
And once again a public knee fall of the politicians, or were they bought again, from the dear Lobbie ? Jaja it was only a problem of splendour, otherwise nothing, and because the camp was full, the stuff must now be gone. I ask myself now honestly, how long do people still do the shit with. Politker bought by Lobbie enslave us, and everyone is watching and raunting. Either the world is really too good, or everyone has another gossip that can be so submissive to this. And if tomorrow’s offer an E 100 for 3rd-/liters, you buy the then also ? ADAC and Co, are also all bought, which the only ones the some of the actions could get, do nothing and print to the politicians nnun also free 19 million Proschüren !!! Just to vomit what EU, Lobbie, Politik ect. with us. with us ! Would I really want the wretches in Colombia, as far as this is concerned……… Where is the Sniper ?

What’s behind the speaker depth?
Hi, short question: does someone happen to know what is behind the original speaker depth in the door of a 850’s? Would you like to install better loudspeakers, but they might be a little deeper than the available space. Now I would like to cut out the sheet metal with a Dremel to get a little deeper. How much air would be behind it up to the disc? Is this possible or should I rather leave it? The door insulation is also such a question. Would you like to use Alubutyl to make the virde Is the dismantling a big problem? Thanks already for the help. mfg Frank

For the sake of interest, sniffed past the 850er 10V sucker
Moin, today there was a trip to Bremen and there we just looked at a 850 out of interest, because over short or long a new old car is supposed to be on the yard. Since I am so enthusiastic about my V70, the thought came to us, maybe also to look after a 850. I have to say that we were there today without appointment and also did not make a test drive. (The latter is necessary anyway with the following lines.) Advertised as a garage car in very good Zustan d. Just one is the reality and the other is the reality that you rhyme together. What you can do for the car, however: the interior is like licked. But that also shows once again that it is enough to find a stupid under 20 who doesn’t look at the car from below and can be blinded by the shell to get such a slingshot from the yard. I doubt that the car arrives at home with the massive oil loss at all. HU, by the way, had just new. he blind, deaf, bribed, or all together. But I was skeptical from the beginning… If interested there is the ad per PM, which is definitely not worth looking at. Greeting Julian

Camshaft and crankshaft impulse encoders
Moin! Can you actually check with an Ohmmeter whether the camshaft pulse generator and the crankshaft pulse generator still work? Background: I stayed the other day because the engine simply didn’t sprung up spontaneously. I was towed off and decided to have both of them replaced. In addition, the ignition coil. I was 500 km away from home and wanted to come home with a healthy car. I would be interested to know if I could check them and if they were okay. I could put them aside as spare parts. Thanks for tips! Klaus

Steering gears defective
Hello zsuammen! The TÜV appointment just expired, was in April. Well, no time had and still a few things to do. Today I was sitting at the workshop of a friend of the master and we once took a look. What made me a bit stunned was the still existing pulling to the right while braking and driving. As we were so sneaking around the car, we noticed that the steering gives a cheerful “klagklack” of itself, if one with open hood on the steering wheel r On the stage the last doubts were removed: The TOTAL front axle is new, only the steering gear is not. And from there the noises came… After I phoned with a friend, who was himself until recently Volvo 850 owner, he said: Exactly THAT was also the reason for the abnormal tire wear on the VA. Not the sockets of the crossbars, but the steering gear. Well then. I will treat myself to a processed with 24 months warranty. The engine will be I’ll have a new car soon. It just doesn’t look like that. Greetings
