Hello at my girlfriend’s Volvo V70 station wagon the exterior mirror was stolen on the driver’s side some time ago. Now I ordered a new one and want to mount it. The mirror setting works electrically. Can someone give me tips/photos for installation? That would certainly be very helpful.

Oil under the moose and tomorrow to Rügen
Hello, it’s about my beloved elk , 855 2.4 liters 170 hp Bj 1993 185TKM, switch because I’m not a hobbyist and with my elk only knows where oil and fuel come in, I would be grateful for a few words about my “problem”. So before a good week came at once smoke and stench out of the engine room, called breakdown service – rough diagnosis valve cover seal broken. Still 2 km home and brought the elk Monday directly into my outside, get again with new valve cover seal ( 240 Euro – seems to be somewhat more elaborate at the 850er). After that I then had a motor wash done from above and below, but also more. Now to my problem, yesterday when changing tires the mechanic should look again under it and the tanks where I had the laundry done has probably worked absolutely sluggishly, they just didn’t take the tub under it and it was still full. So the yesterday there again with brake cleaners and wiped something off. But the Elch can still be told of the car how much Ö can have been filled up there again?

Tank indicator and temperature indicator spins! What to do?
Hello all, I have the problem, which occasionally spins to the tank indicator and the temperature indicator. Even if the tank is full, the tank needle falls again and again to about 30l or falls until the reserve lamp reaches. If this problem adjusts also the temperature indicator spins. I was told it could lie on the “control unit” (which would have been a very expensive to replace) I hope someone can help me here, because this problem is probably “typical” for Volvos. Greeting from Velbert

Help! My moose is drinking more and more oil…
Hi, dear elk drivers, I start to worry about something. Should the B5252S be a two-stroker at the end? Since I have the car, the oil consumption has increased dramatically. Since the end of February this year I drove about 17,600 km. At the beginning the consumption with 10W40 was so at 1L to 4500 km. With 5W40 it rose to 1L for 2500-2700 km. Continuously it became more, every time it was a few kilometers less per litre. Just after almost 1400 km I checked again and now have only about 5 mm to the minimum mark. What kind of crap is that now? At some point I can control fuel and fill oil, if it goes on like that. Normal engine wear can not go so fast. In the meantime it also throws out an oil cloud when starting, just like with short, more powerful gas blows in the empty run.

tempomat retrofitting / Interval wiper defective
Hello, after a long reading I’ll direct myself to you here: My new Volvo V70 I Diesel Bj. 1999 has some files, As a spare part carrier I have a Volvo V70 I Bi-Fuel Bj. 1998. 1. [How] Is it possible to build the cruiser out of the V70 Bj. 1998 and install it in the others? Is it enough if I change the Blinkstock or do I need another component? Do you have to unlock something in the software? And does this go at home? I don’t want to go to the friendly because a completely new cruiser for 300-400€ is too expensive for me. 2. With the Diesel Volvo V70 apparently the wiper relay (?) is broken. The interval wiper only goes up to half or less and does not even go back and forth completely. To this end, the whole is not as rhythmic as it should be. Moreover, the permanent wiper doesn’t go back to the starting position but remains somewhere. – Is this on the relay or can have other causes? Did I have to have the relay 203 from the old thanks in the Volvo?

V70 I on LPG – and the master says – PANIK!
I recently bought a well-kept 99er V70 (YV1LW65F9Y2661856 automatic 24 liters 140 hp) and had the good piece of a professional workshop refitted with a Vialle LPG system. Now I was back in the workshop to change tires where the previous owner always had the car heated and maintained (seat dealer – seems to have honest skin with a clue). And the master said to me in the car he had already advised the previous owner of a change – the engine was not suitable. I should definitely let all 10000 km to make an oil change no matter what the previous owner had driven since the last oil. I am quite a layman and now somewhat irritated. I know that the engine in these model years was not free from Volvo’s statement even though the same thing was true?

Turbocharger from C70 T5 to C70 2.0T ?
I would like to have a little more Ps on my Volvo C70 2.0T Built: 2002. I heard that I should best take the turbocharger from the T5. Does anyone know if this works and if and how much Ps I have more then. Did I have to do more than just dive the loader? If that wouldn’t work, you could then write me another way to get more power! Thanks….

Thank you
Hello Hi I’m here now completely new, recently shot me a Volvo 850 2.5 20V for 375€. was a little bit of something but thanks to your contributions and the one or other repair instruction (Heynes) I’m as good as through. Through the bare reading of your posts I’ve already done, head seal, valve shaft seals and all other, OT point found, timing belts and water pump, seat heating, ABS and Tracs control unit and some smaller things. To the control unit still short, error memory erasure has with + – hold together not worked, I think. Lamps are still on. Well, not to deviate from the subject first, a quite cordial thank you!!!!! And for further helpful tips and tricks, cheer! Oh yes, jamand has an idea like this with the universal cat, with the markings E or R is actually so clear but I have to pay attention to something special except measure and ccm? again thanks

850 103 kW (140hp) Built 94 new hydro tugs… how?
Hello Elche^^ I have an urgent request and hope that someone can help me here… So this is the following: I drove 500km with my Volvo on vacation the day before yesterday… and when I was driving down from the highway, my oil control lamp comes in. So I stopped, look what’s going on… engine absolutely dry. So fill up oil… and look there: 4l was missing!! So the bucket swallowed 4l/500km… then I hit the engine again and heard that the engine is horribly clapping… I thought spontaneously about the hydro impact… and the next day in the workshop the master also thinks: Hydro impact and probably also valve shaft seals broken… I would like to exchange these now, because the repair in the workshop probably costs a fortune… and in this way I ask if someone can give me tips about it. Specifically: – How big is the effort? – Are special tools needed? – What do you have to pay attention to? – Does the repair at all cost? My Elch now has 238 even got to give me some advice – if I’ve got some advice?
