Hello Forum, with my V70I EZ 1998, 2,5L Automatik,144PS the following problem has occurred for some time. After longer service life (about 1 week) the battery is completely vacuumed. We have found that it pulls a small amount of current without ignition…. Weekend service life is no problem….with one week it becomes problematic. Battery is new. During after-measurement today I realized that the current flow can be almost completely stopped when the fuse 7 is removed from the main safety box (Box A). According to the manual the fuse is called ” fuses in the electrical control center”. All other fuses or the achievable relays had no influence. Can someone tell me exactly what this affected fuse is? Would I be pleased about an info. Thank you 🙂 Greetings from Dortmund Stefan

which volvo kombi?
So, I’ve been searching the forum here for 3 hours and I’ve really found a lot of information. I’ve already been informed about an 800 Volvo. Nevertheless, I’m asking you again at the Volvoforum: I need a Volvo (is practically “family tradition” combo, because I need it for transport from my garden equipment. I haven’t had a car for 2 weeks now and it would be very important. I earn very little money, that is: not too high aberration and tax (so no diesel) Now I have to ask you which models you can recommend to me that are reliable and long-loved and don’t eat up money. If you make me a model:-vie a lot of kilometers he should have maximum – on what else do I have to pay attention to when searching? I prefer an automatic, because of the laziness;D. I don’t pull any huge hangers^^ I already say thanks and am open to all suggestions. Achso: cost should he maximum 4000

T5 now has a T5
Yes moin, now there are two Volvo-combis on the farm – after the V70, which my first half drives, I got me as successor for my BMW 535 yesterday n 850 T5. Must still be done a little bit, but only small things – thanks to the great forum and my North German experts that will be no problem. Extra thanks again to Terwi for pick-up and purchase advice support and the fries at the end were also really delicious 🙂 “How do I bring … in order”-Threads follow in the course of the day – possibly also give me some new stories, if I have the paws when screwing. Greetz, TschoK P.S.: If someone has a nice set 17”er to sell, preferably Comet or Titan or something, which goes optimically in the direction of “R”, or someone knows the… like to report! Have 16”er Columba on it with good summer tires; they should be down for that. Exchange with additional charge would be an option.

Hello municipality, since the bad 318i BJ 87 of my wife no longer comes through the TÜV, I have with a customer a Volvo 850 BJ 96 170PS and full equipment are offered to the customer. I know what has to look at least most of the time. But I need help. 2. Problem sliding roof elektr. does not close a left, but can still be taken to the right, but it’s not as if my 850.

Battery Eternly Empty – LiMa ?
Moin municipality, for some time (approx. 2 years) the following problem: After a longer service life (max. 3 weeks) the bat. of my Swedes treckes V70 I, year 2000, is completely empty. During this time 3 new batteries, the last before 5 months. Regulators is ok. Yesterday car externally started, 50 km driven – this morning Bat. empty. Can this be a mistake on the diode plate of Lima? The Bosch service has suggested a rest current measurement. Does any of you have any idea yet? Thank you already in advance. Ben

Volvo seat cushions
Hello, like many others, I am dissatisfied with the seats (the upholstery) of the Volvo, especially the front seats. Many complain about the quality of the leather. Because this A. removes the color and B. the leather “looses” from the seat, expands and becomes unsightly. Of course, it hits the driver’s seat particularly. In my opinion, it’s not just the leather. I think it’s mainly the foam of the seat cushions. It’s simply too soft and loses its stability and thus the leather expands, if used for longer. One prefers to sit on a sofa (Volvo), another prefers to have a little more hold and guidance when sitting (such as VW). With many other manufacturers, the seat – foam is much firmer and offers a certain comfort for longer. My question: Is there anyone who knows where to buy refabricated seat cushions for a Volvo? Is there anyone who does something like that? Thank you for your answers.

Volvo 850, ’95, blower does not ventilate
Hello and Moin! I’ve been driving a Volvo 850 that I used to buy with 340tkm. I’m incredibly disturbed by the non-functioning fan of the interior ventilation and I’d be happy to fix the problem because the permanent humidity inside the car and the view just don’t do well! By the way, the car has an automatic climate control. I’ve read a lot here and acted accordingly. A small crash: – At first the blower didn’t run at all. – The blower engine, however, ran perfectly in the extended condition. – I’ve replaced the pre-resistance with another used one, because I suspected the error in this one. – Now the blower motor (in built-in condition) ran for about 2 seconds when I switched on the ignition. After that was quiet again. – So I could assume once that the old pre-resistance was broken or was smoked by another malfunction function. – So I’ve got a used control part, because I’ve always suspected the error. – I’ve installed it today and unfortunately, the operating part of the operating engine didn’t start again.

I’m the new one with an 854
Hello and good day! I would like to introduce myself briefly as the “new” here in the forum. I have been proud owner of an 854er year 1992 (so one of the first) with the 5254er machine (right, isn’t it? Is a 2.5er with 170hp) and automatic transmission. I have used the vehicle with TÜV 05/14 and 223tsd KM for slippery 600 Euro bought and knew that it is still to do some things, but it is worth it. From mandatory things such as unknown condition timing belts/wapu/belts over oil/filters etc apart, there are still “smaller construction sites” like jamming window (electrically) on the front passenger side and “spinning” gear lock switch (from time to time and on blinking yellow arrow and no starting on “P” possible). Likewise, the previous owner probably has the fitting board (top) very “unfachmännisch” removed and reinstalled, so some places are torn from the anchor and during the ride knarzen and krüchen. The rubling time of the new brake is probably also due to the first stop. But let’s.

Interior lighting / driver’s door
Hello! With my V70 model year 1999, the interior lighting continues to light even when doors are closed, although the light switch is in horizontal position. So you have to turn it on and off manually with the tilt switch. I’ve almost got used to it. What’s even more annoying: The footroom lighting under the steering wheel and the red light on the driver’s door are constantly shining. Is the contact at the driver’s door defective and possibly also responsible for the fact that the interior lighting in the sky does not work when the door is closed? Thank you in advance for answers!
