Yes moin, I did too little sport all week and thought that I could install the relays for the fog lights, so that the fog lights not only look nice from the outside but also represent a functional supplement – the Fast & Furious lighting scroll mode. And by the way, lose a few kilos in the dislocation actions… Relays and bridge are there – no. 201 and 213. Cladding is off, slots are located, flashlight is positioned, beer is cold… unfortunately, both slots are occupied with such plastic things (201: brown. 213: green). So to plug the relays in first the plastic things have to go out and that doesn’t work really well… is there a trick? I have located two flaps to the right and left, but a) the squeezing is heartily little and b) you can squeeze badly with the 201er, because right next to it is the 202er occupied and I from the age in which the fingers are in between, since about 42 years out (b. 68…). Someone gives an idea?

Hello guys. I bought “new” n V70 2.5-litre gasoline. Super Ding. The only thing, the electric window lifters on the left (driver) side do not work (I bought so, I dip ). Both. Front and rear. On the right side they do quite normal; the window lifter switch in the driver’s door has already been changed for a new one; this unfortunately did not bring any improvement (the old one was also right). Recently I had him because of another thing in the workshop, the guy meant to pick up (my wife ), that it might be due to the “platine”. Question now: What a “platine” could he mean, where is this, where could I get a “new” from. Or does someone know the part number, also have contact to a Volvo and part dealer. Hello to the forum: For some time now there has been a noise in my C70 Cab. when I make a strong steering turn to the left and then take the curve a little faster. The noise seems to come somewhere from the engine compartment and is like a “jaul” that changes its frequency depending on the speed of the engine. After a few minutes it disappears again, but comes again when the next left turn is on – but only with correspondingly strong steering turn. Do you have a tip what the trigger can be here? Hello, you (hopefully) knowers, I am spending my Sunday afternoon screwing my cassette deck apart, since it has not been running since last week. Problem was quickly found: the drive belt of the wheels is torn. My question would now be if someone knows where to get such a belt as spare part? Unfortunately I can’t even find out the manufacturer, on top of it stands VOLVO SC-700. Is the original radio. Would I be happy about help. Next week it goes on vacation and I hate to drive with Diskman, batteries and computer boxes to Austria… 🙁 Otherwise maybe someone still has such a radio left for cheap? THANK YOU VORAB!

Hello, I own Volvo V70 Kombi year of construction 99 with approx. 175,000 KM mileage. Since I intend to drive the car even longer, I am thinking of renovating the shock absorbers completely round. I already had the damping level of the shock absorbers tested by TüV: VA left 72, right 68, HA left 65 and right 74%. According to TüV, the limit value is 60%. At the HA left a little oil run out of the shock absorber is to be determined, whereas at the last HAU on the part of TüV this was not criticized for anything. The TüV-Mensch had only noticed the somewhat too big performance difference of the HA shock absorbers during this test. I was primarily concerned with the rear shock absorbers, which with my model are also with automatic level control, whose acquisition is unfortunately quite expensive. The problem with the retrofitting on normal gas pressure was already discussed in detail in the forum (great praise to all the useful information!). My question would now be whether it was with the installation of the 12th gas shock absorber, which would not have been used in the first place, but to increase the load of the load.

Below you will find an audio file with the noise. The engine is a B5252FS. The noise comes sometimes, then it is also gone, without seeing a reason. It is obviously not related to the engine temperature. Yesterday morning it came right after the start, i.e. with cold engine, before that it was there after the departure from the highway, so with warm engine.
