Volvo V70 bj. 99 – ECU defective ?

Cooling water temperature rises
Moin Moin has a question. With my 850 the cooling water temperature rises again and again to the red area. The engine is within one kilometer to normal temperature and after another 4-5 kilometers it sometimes rises quickly to the red area. Water level is ok. and fan seems to do it too. Someone’s idea. Oh yes from the heater comes only a lukewarm ventilator.

Volvo 850 soundystem
Hi, I have to install a sound system in my 850 2.5 20V. Up to now only the front loudspeakers are installed in the amature board, but the others are also wired from factory. My problem is the cables probably do not arrive at the radio, because I first got 2 loudspeakers for the door loudspeaker shafts in front for the test (JBL). Their connection does not fit to those of the Volvo even though they should be suitable for it. You can connect them anyway, abe r they don’t make a sound of themselves. It also looks like the cables don’t arrive on the radio. Has someone similar experiences and has found a solution. Ps of course I also thought of simply rewiring the whole thing but that’s a huge wall since you can’t lead the cables to the door very easily in a 850er.

AHK for C70 BJ2000 – Electrical connection
Good evening! I have used the search function actively in the last 1.5 hours, but I do not come closer to the solution. With about 6 months delay I had finally found and bought a suitable AHK fixing and e-set. Original Volvo part, only article number I can not find on it. In the FZG 2 plugs are installed – see picture. These are connected to the lamps, I have measured already with multimeter. The socket is the version with 13 connection point, has 2 plugs on it, a 6-er, a 4-er, 2 cables are loose. In the 6-er 2 cables are connected to a pin. In the box 2 cable sets were supplied, where 2 fuses were in the cables, but the plug types mounted on them were not found at all in the trunk. The seller bought this also so, but did not come to his project time => no info about it. Is it necessary to install fuses between the vehicle and AHK socket into the cable? Cruise again….
Hello together… I have to bring my cruise control back to life in 850. Vacuum pump is installed and both air lines are in the driver’s footroom. Relay is plugged in and turn signal lever is also there. Could someone explain to me how I have to connect everything now…? I have tried it before, but unfortunately it is now so the car is gas by itself. The air balk at the accelerator pulls together and takes the accelerator over the joint as if someone presses pedal. Only w I am standing on the brake I hear a hissing and the speed goes back to idle…?! What’s wrong with me for God’s sake?

Suitable power source in trunk for relays
Hi guys, at the moment I’m building a power amplifier in the trunk that only reaches via remote. So I want to switch a relay between my duration plus and the remote connection that is best controlled via an ignition plus. My question is: Are there already existing lines in the trunk that I can use as relay triggers? I know why I don’t take remote from my Sc805? Because I can’t tap the signal from the middle pin of the 6Dins connector on Cinch. do you think of the idea of taking the plus from the petrol pump? Or maybe from the rear lights? Then theoretically the power amplifier would only be on if I had light on.

As can be seen in the photos, the Bosch engine is too long. The shaft extends to <5mm to the upper edge of the fan wheel, while the shaft tip of the engine still installed ends at a full 3cm below the edge. I don't assume that the shaft of the new engine should rise into the fan wheel. Are there different variants of fan motors for the 850s? I now wanted a complete unit of Hell a (Behr), but these are not in stock anywhere. How is the experience here in general, are they organized only on order? If someone had a part number here (search functions by car type on various parts pages did not yield conclusive information !?).
