  • Forum calendar P80 Volvo 2024

Hello, is there interest in a calendar again? Ask now already relatively early, since in case of next year unfortunately the shop is too. Will probably also be the last edition. I could take over the design again in the same style as the last years. This year I would create a bright layout again. So always changing so. How about that with the pressure, explains someone willing to organize this? Last year @dementedarego has everything in the direction g organized, thanks again for that. Would that be possible again Johnny? In case of a case it would not be a problem for me to ask this year, my training is finished and therefore in comparison to last year significantly more capacities available. You can, if you want, then even upload pictures would now simply set a time frame until 20.10. . For the monthly pictures then after selection the individual requests are made again, because the Qu The rest of the process would otherwise be as usual. In the meantime it would already be the 4th edition.

  • Grinding noise during right-hand steering

Hello elk captain! The following problem I can’t rhyme with: the 8s squeaks tremendously during the slow drive when the steering is hit right (around 20 degrees impact). The squeaking sounds metallic, an examination on the lifting platform with the master has shown no foreign bodies between dust sheet and discs, even the plastic inner wing has no grinding marks. At the moment 16 Columbas with 205/50 are mounted, will be h ier in .at switch to 195 steel in 15 inches, but don’t think that the columbas are the reason, because I don’t fully hit (lenno-fit limiter). If anyone has any idea where the metallic grinding noise could come from, it’s embarrassing for me that my embarrassingly maintained car grunts so embarrassingly!

  • Rear decor attached to the V70…extensive 🙂

Evening, I recently drove a V70 Bj. 97 and am really thrilled….however, I found the interior (amature board, center console) of high quality, but unfortunately not particularly appealing. In short, at the colorful department store sniffed and found something really cool….a set of decors to attach afterwards. At first I thought that can be normal nothing, even the sample pictures presented there seemed to me more like from original…not but how glued on No matter…for 66 Euro I dared to try….and very self…that’s the banger Incredible how the cart now looks from the inside……and not a bit like unoriginal See for yourself… LG Markus

  • Heavy oil loss at 10km

Hello, I looked at a ́96er 850, 2.5 10V, 290tkm. He actually made a pretty good impression (car body and interior). Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa but from a further journey urgently. Lt. seller he had driven 10km to the TÜV and back, TÜV new! However, only one stamp in the devalued Fzg.-Schein (deregistered according to TÜV) test certificate / receipt was not available. Thus the car could never have come over the TÜV. So: TÜV stamp “bought” or actually sudden oil loss on the 10km return trip from TÜV? What could it be? ZKD so suddenly? Greeting Philipp

  • 850s – only cold air from heating despite warm engines

Hello everybody, I’ll make it short: – Interior doesn’t get warm – blower goes perfectly, it comes out almost exclusively colder air – engine temperature indicator stands on the half – the last days it rained strongly here, got the windows hardly dry – climate never went (didn’t know if the role is playing) – thermostat I rule out, because the engine has a proper operating temperature after about 1-2 km – half is good, right? – from time to time flash after the start the two n Luminaires Climate and Rec – could it be the notorious heat exchanger – don’t I want to change on suspicion? Only seat heating is somehow not the bringer and in winter I want a cuddly vehicle… Your ideas, experiences are in demand – thanks for that! Greeting, Erik

  • Volvo V70 193 PS Buy

Hello together, I would like to treat myself to a second moose, the workshop (garage) is now finished and I have time to tinker. After a long search I am from a 240/244 Turbo Sedan, now nevertheless with a Volvo V70 1st series 2.5 T AWD with 193 hp automatic, which I want to make technically fit again. The seller makes a competent, credible impression and we are almost agreed. It would be nice if you could give me some tips on the car, what I still pay attention to sol lte etc. The upper engine bearing is broken and if someone has, I would be very grateful for a list with the error codes of the series. Thank you in advance.

  • Purchase advice C70 Cabrio

Hello dear, after I originally wanted to buy a 850er, after long discussions with my partner, a C70 convertible came out as a compromise, with which I can also get really happy. I want to go shopping with the car, make excursions and maybe go on holiday through Europe. In nice weather cruises I prefer, think the C70 is quite suitable for this. The car does not have to drive me to work. My budget is 5000 (wur The ideal car is well maintained, the 193 HP petrol, Domstrebe already installed, not all leather seats to be destroyed, decent sound system and was driven by a relaxed mid-50er. In the dream world he has an AHK for the bicycle take with him. The color doesn’t really matter, only silver I don’t find so beautiful. My question is now: realistic for the budget? What are the typical “weak spots”? my last request (still for the 850s ) I really learned a lot from the professionals here. I wish you a nice evening and thank you already Fabian

  • Problem after coupling change with dual-mass swing wheel V70I B5244S2

Good evening from Sweden the following problem, After coupling change including two-mass swing wheel ( the old one was defective ) I have the following problems I can not get a proper separation despite intensive discharge of the coupling, so the reverse gear goes hard. Ventilation by compressed air and ventilator. The clutch pedal remains relatively soft. Before the problem was not there. It could be that there is still some residual air in the clutch sensor cylinder. The engine also dies off in idle mode. Does anyone have an idea ? In advance thank you very much

  • Volvo 850 Idling Problems

Moin moin, for two days my moose likes to remain idle over 1000 revolutions. Sometimes even up to 1500 high. The problem can be solved in the short term by stepping on the gas. If it falls off from a higher speed, it does not exist this problem. I have already looked up the vacuum hoses and sprayed brake cleaners on it. He did not react. Then I cleaned the idle switch. Unfortunately, this did not work. If the engine however in idle so fast spins and I pull the plug off from the idler, the speed drops. When I plug it up again everything normalizes. Sometimes, however, it reacts extremely late on the plug. Do you have some clues?

  • V70 high oil consumption

Hello, my V70 (BJ 98, MY1999) 2.5T (141kw) worries me. The oil consumption is about 2l per 1000km, trend rising. Current mileage 121500. I had already asked for this in the workshop at 90tkm, since the consumption was still about 0.5-1l per 1000km. The master thought this was normal with such an “old” car and the short distance (daily 2x 20km) does its rest. The engine probably does not lose oil, neither to house nor at the office are the ugly spots in the parking lot to be discovered. Is there a general problem or where you can start there? My workshop thinks you have to take the engine apart, sounds to me something “we are looking for the needle in the haystack” and not necessarily coordinated. I am grateful for every tip, I am almost thinking of changing the car, since the defects are increasing. –Michael
