Hello, before I come to you with a request, I would like to say briefly that I am based here in the Golf Forum. My questions refer to my wife’s car. This is a C 30, 125 hp, year 2007, MKB AFU, mileage approx. 65000 KM. And now the problem. The C 30 is hardly noticeable in the 4th or 5th gear, with the slight gas giving on flat track. I once Googled through and the few what I found, allegedly pointed to a dirty throttle flap or poti, as well as to defective/s ignition coils. My questions to you, are these hints realistic and if, what can be done about it? In addition, it would be important to know which mileage performance the ignition coils should be changed/must be. Unfortunately, the inspection checkbook was no longer available when buying the car (worship car). The Volvo representative here always promised to provide a replacement, but what has not happened until today. I would be grateful for every meaningful answer!!!

Hi people, the following problem. Wanted to re-park my V50 2.4 l / 140 HP Automat Bj 06/04 today and then turned on stand light. Before I turned off the engine, the red exclamation mark lights up and the control lamp of the battery – BC meant “electric system – maintenance urgent”. Engine off, after a while again – error occurred after a short time again. What can it be – alternator or battery? Vehicle currently has about 135 TKM on the hump. Has stood the last 3 days in the carport – ran flawlessly so far … had the feeling that he was at the MO (moved it there the last time) in cold condition uphill on a bit later (as usual) gas – but could have tauted me also (step speed, automatic, kickdown etc) … because then he ran well 100km without intermediate flaw … Someone an idea? I would like to want to get 19″ equal high (225 or 235 slats should then be on it) and have a question: I have already read that with BBS rims the inner wheel house has to go out… I have no desire for that. Steering limiters have I already in front in it… What else to consider? Which ET is to be recommended? Have seen a set of rims with ET40. Since 8.5J and thus clearly wider than the 7.5J of the Asreus. 8.5J = approx. 22.5 cm width compared to approx. 19.0 cm width… If I have now correctly calculated (precautionarily) then this should cut out even without track plates…: Accessory rim: rim: 22.5 width (8.5J) ET: 40 distance between hub and inner rim: 10.85 cm Atreus Alufelge: rim: 19.0 cm width (7.5J) ET: 52.5 distance between hub and inner rim: 897 cm. Is not a problem?

Would you like to ask if it is possible to increase the light output of the V50? Are there special lamps for or are there also clear glass headlights for retrofitting? Does anyone have experience with this?

Evening! A short question: Does someone have the consumption values of the C30 1.6d WITHOUT DRIVe(!!!!) as Volvo previously stated? Volvo currently only has 1.6d DRIVe and 1.6d DRIVe S/S So, MJ 2007/2008/2009? Please ONLY C30… S40 or V50 don’t matter, it’s really about the C30…! Thanks and greeting Damien

Hello, I have today from 14 August a warranty extension over a year completed. It took at least three months before I could decide. The 299€ for a year is also not a cardboard handle. Hello, I’d like to hear your opinion about the standard seats. I don’t mean the quality of workmanship, but the convenience especially on long distances. I myself have the leather seats of the Business-Pro series, V50 model year 2012. I’m 1.84 meters tall and weigh 86 kilos, so I have a “normal stature”. I don’t find the driver’s seat (the others I can’t judge) so the hit on long distances. I’ve noticed it again on vacation to Italy (850 km). I get cross pain and also in the right thigh a “drawing”. My seat is, by the way, adjusted according to the general recommendations. I would like to note that I would not order a sliding roof today because it costs me headroom. With me, with the lowest possible sitting position, between upper edge head and roof sky no three centimeters more space. How is this with you (if you have a similar size like me)?

Hello together, I don’t know what it can be. My V50 T5 (MJ 2005) doesn’t start any more. I drove into a bit too big hole in the back of last week and sat up properly (so far as the tire was completely in the air). When I hung there the engine went off. My guess was that he didn’t get any fuel anymore, because the tank was already quite empty. When the car was out again I filled in a few liters and wanted to start. But it only turns the starter but nothing else happens. As if the petrol pump doesn’t matter. Does anyone have an idea what that can be? Lines are all in it. Is there maybe a motor emergency switch that takes the fuel pump off? Would be great if someone could help me.
