    Hello together, as new generation is coming, the vehicle fleet will be changed. I probably separate from my V70II T5, instead comes a 2010 Sharan with sliding doors for my better half.   • Steering blocked

    Hello all, my V50, 2,0D, Bj2004, has a serious problem. The steering does not work properly. Especially the faster you drive the more often blocks this or you have a very great resistance when steering from just on impact?! Especially on the highway it often comes to very dangerous situations. One just drives out, wants to steer, the steering blocked, when the power on the steering wheel increases the steering at once and steers again. However, the problem occurs only when you want to steer then. The problem strengthens in case of cold or after driving. After longer driving becomes better. My mechanic says the power supply to the engine is fine. Could only the engine/servo pump be? Or the steering gear? Maybe someone has a hint?   • Oil lamp goes on when the car is standing.

    Hello everybody, I have changed the engine oil and the oil filter at my Volvo V50 2.0D (140tkm, 2004) today. As stated in the instructions for use, I filled in about 5.5 liters. If the car is driving everything is good. But always when I stop, then the warning lamp goes on. As soon as I give a gas shot it goes out and then goes right back on when the car goes into the stand gas. Does the car now have too much or too little oil? Thanks and Gruss Enrico

  • V50 rear axle equipped with PU sockets

    Moin, I wanted to give you a short report: I equipped my rear axle with PU sockets from Strongflex with the T5. The old ones were soft and partly cracked after 11 years. If you have a press like me, it goes out and press in quite easily. But certainly also goes in a good vice with a long tube as extension. I changed the storage of the stabilizer through the SKANDIX house stamp and new coupling bars from Lemförder have come in. Where before the box was called clapping and swinging was now very tight at the back. You notice already that the PU is harder. But the box is very well on the road and does not swing anymore when driving over from e.g. Huckeln from left to right but only briefly up and down. Now I will make the front handlebars new, because last year they came new from Febi. But the rubber is very soft and the coupling rods from them have already been over after 15 TKM.
