Dear Forum members, I already had the track set at my Volvo C30 at two different workshops and the car still pulls to the right. I added the excerpt of the last axle measurement as a picture. Unfortunately, I did not get the extract of the first axle measurement from ATU. I have also pulled brand new summer tyres on it since this weekend, with the hope that it is gone afterwards, but this was unfortunately not the case. It is particularly noticeable on the motorway at higher speeds. The steering wheel stands to go straight ahead a few degrees to the left and when the steering wheel is released the car pulls to the right as if it were a lane change. The car had a damage from the previous owner on the front right, which, according to the previous owner, did not pull the frame. Nevertheless, the hood, front bumper and the right fender had to be changed. Is it possible that it was still lying on a drawn frame? What could it be, and how could I get the car to steer straight again?

Adoption of new S60
Unfortunately….and that’s what I mean… I have to say goodbye to the forum here because I bought an S60 today. I would like to thank everyone for the many tips and suggestions and I’m probably more active in the S60 forum next Friday. I’m sure I’ll look in here again from time to time, because the last 5 years are somehow close to my heart. Those who know me know this 🙂 And I’ll come to the meetings if I can. Lubricating gaskets = Miracle agents
Hello, since my C70 had squealed the seals of the side windows, I thought that I should lubricate them. My mechanic colleague said that I should smear all the seals (also of door and roof) with silicone grease. So I did that and what should I say: All crackling and squeaking noises are passé!! Now there is really silence inside with closed roof. Always thought, the noises are just because it is a convertible. Now I will repeat this every 6 months. Vlt. helps one or the other. What brake for the V50?
Hello, I just signed up and am accordingly new here, but I already have the first question. I got new Bremdisks and blocks in front about 5 months ago, because the discs had a hit. Well, after 4 weeks in Scandinavia and 8.000km the brand new brake discs have a hit again and it slags like crazy with every braking. I guess just as layman that the discs got too hot. Since this is now the second set, I would be slightly different from the standard discs the third time. My father in this case advised me to turn to Zimmermann brake discs, which should also cause problems on some cars. Now I don’t know what it looks like with the V50. Do you know which discs are possibly to be recommended, which are also more resistant than the standard ones? I hope I could explain the problem with sufficient details and would be pleased with an answer.

Change xenon lamp yourself?
Recently, my left front light only works part-time. I fear once again a pig-etured stay at and like to take this into my own hands. Question: is the 1st DIY-like feasible, and if, 2. with how much effort involved? I heard/read, Xenon burners would always be exchanged in pairs. Is there anything there or just money making? Urgently Needed Help: Dangerous Engine Behaviour
Hello. For two weeks now, the engine has been running at just under 3,000 rpm (in gear 1-4) when accelerating from WITHOUT the control lights. In the 5th gear you can get up to 3,000 rpm and sometimes over it. But at the latest 3,400 rpm is also in 5th gear end. The acceleration behaviour is a bit “tough”. It is dangerous because the car has to pull off 300km every weekend and of it are about 250km highway. When overtaking or on ascents, the fear is now driving with you, since you never know whether it goes out again or not. Today the car was hardly mobile. Every time it went out at 3,000 rpm. Finally, I could drive around 30km at a distance of 2,800-3,400 rpm. In the 5th gear constant. But this is not possible. The error is not always present. The diesel particle filter has been replaced, the regeneration fluidity has been filled up and now the differential pressure sensor has been exchanged. Unfortunately, it can help without any success.

Volvo v50 Basic Soundsystem expand only with what?
Hello guys, I’ve had a Volvo v50 year of construction 7/2005 for a few days now. It’s as far as I know a Basic Sound System. (No AUX-In and when I start it there’s no high or premium sound in the display, the top-right button is labeled “CD” and not with “mode” as with others) Now I’d like to stream music from the iPhone via Bluetooth, what do I have for myself? Mommentan gurke around with a FM transmitter, but the sound quality is not always good and I would like to have it neat.What the system can MUST: -Bluetooth Music stream from iPhone+Android devices, optional requests (NO MUST): -Freephone setup, -Navigation, -Play music from a memory card or USB stick, there’s so much on the market for the high and premium sound systems, but until now NOTHING for my cheap standard sound system Can I help you?!!!

What is the alternative to the Volvo V50?
I have to buy my first car in the near future and have hardly been interested in cars in my life so far and therefore hardly bothered with it. After looking around the first one I like the Volvo V50 DRIVe best. Since I drive a lot it should become a diesel. The V50 would have exactly the right size for me and seems to be a practical car. I also like that it consumes just 3.8 liters of fuel per 100km in the DRIVe Edition. Well, before I decide on the V50 I want to get an overview of what else there is. At first glance I did not really find something suitable. Which cars from other manufacturers would be alternatives for me, which I should still look at and which are similar to the V50 of practicality, fuel consumption and size?

V50 MY04 BiXenon?
Hello, since today I am finally proud owner of a V50 with MY04, Summum, DPF in electric silver. I am very satisfied with the car and extremely positive surprised. There are however 2 small things, I was of the opinion with Summum would be Bi-Xenon? I have only a normal lens and a light width regulation in the dashboard. Has there ever gone something wrong, or did I get lost? 2. I have a knarzen somewhere from behind, rather 2… The 1. sounds like it is coming from the door at the back right & the 2nd seems to come from the blind, give it like-minded ones who can report similar things? Wants to sound and expand the shutters, because I didn’t read much good about it ^^ MfG

Urgently looking for help – BC failure
Hello, have already found 2 posts on my problem, but none was with final solution. Had a few months ago the following problem: display SRS airbag defective, urgent maintenance, then power steering defective, then flashed the whole display with all the displays on and then everything was dark, air conditioning didn’t work anymore, only the radio was still running. In the workshop n software update was made, for which I also had to cover 55 euros, although still in the used car warranty bi n (V50 2.0 D with first registration 04/04, I bought it in January). And now it started again with the display failure. Be in the workshop again today, but would like to know if one of you has found a solution? Should I insist that the control unit is changed?
