  • Macken in “ballpot”

    Huhu her specis So, I’ve been in there since Saturday (wedding from my brother -> father drove my car) Macken in the pram body or pram pot (as it was called in the pre-airbag era) which bothers me quite strongly. Since my father is probably of the opinion that one had to hit on the steering wheel to press the horn (are probably still the remnants from his British Leyland vehicle time) the notches are quite deep or have sharp edges.   • Renewed problem with our vehicle(incl. video)

    Hello together, and again our vehicle has a problem. Many of you certainly know our suffering story, which has been going on for four years now.   • Water pump, V-belts etc

    Hello together, I would like to be interested if someone has had to change their water pump? If so, what is the fun (I mean completely with tension/turning rollers belt) I was told by an acquaintance that this would only be possible in the Volvo workshop because the water pump has to be trained somehow during the new installation with the software or something?   • Purchase V50 2.0 TDI Kinetic

    Hello Elchreiter, I’m asking for your help Have the choice between a passat 1.9 (2004) with 150 tkm and a V50 2.0 D Kinetic (11/2006) with 165 tkm. Both for 6,000 negotiating base. Since I’m quite undecided and know myself better with VW, I would like to hear your opinion now: 1. The 1.9 engine from the passat is very robust, how does it look with the 2.0 from Volvo? 2. What about the km from the Volvo? My uncle has worked for Volvo in Sweden for over 20 years and he says that the 165 tkm are eig. nix for the Volvo…how’s that right? (someone’s experience with it?) 3. What about the maintenance at Volvo, especially with the model mentioned here and at this age? Will the V50 be more susceptible to damage with age?   • USB and iPod® Music Interface – 08- does not work…

    Hello everybody, I’ve been a proud C70 owner for three days (D5, black, summum, navigation, high performance, Mirzam) and I ordered a USB and iPod® Music interface from the factory to save a CD changer. Now this interface somehow doesn’t work. Maybe you can help me… I plugged my iPod classic (5. G, 160 Gb) onto the cable in the armrest on the middle tunnel; then the Volvo logo and the message “connecte” appear quickly on the iPod display. d” If I press the “mode” button on the keypad of the center console, only the options “CD” and “Aux” appear in the display, however according to the manual the option “iPod/USB” should appear. The USB cable does not work either – if I plug the supplied USB stick into the USB cable, the stick lights up (so it gets juice), but on the display also only the options “CD” and “Aux”. If I make a completely stupid error or I actually have to make an appointment at the Fre I’m happy about any feedback! Christoph: I’m looking for a mistake in my (new!) car.

    Hello dear C70II fan community, to make the thing a little more manageable (since we had reported about it in 2 other forums in the meantime) a new Tread to the next meeting on [date updated by boisbleu] 13/14.09.2008 in 57271 Hilchenbach – Allenbach. This is located in the southern NRW, in the “Trilandereck” Nordrhein-Westfalen / Rheinlandpfalz / Hessen. Great area with lots of landscape, great curves and lies at 350 to almost 800 meters height. We already have some registrations, the I’m going to take a look and tap it down in the next time, but I don’t think that Brigitte / Ticinella will answer the most burning questions of yours in the meantime. We don’t open this thread in the Volvo meeting thread to keep things somewhat manageable (just want to get the cleanest C70II Volvo ride in the future). rides and drivers , but are otherwise not snobbed ) Best regards Uwe
