Hello together, Unfortunately I do not get the CEM error 8A39 gas discharge lamp module fixed. I have already tried the following: 1. Headlights changed crosswise – Error did not migrate with (left of the faults) 2. Position encoders Level 2 and 4 Volt 3. New headlights installed 4. Control unit changed under the wheel box without change. 5. Red burner unit changed crosswise Unfortunately, the error always remains left. When the engine is switched on, only the left headlight goes up and down and stays down. The left one doesn’t move at all.

Noise when switching- C70 Automatic
Hello Together 🙂 I noticed today with my C70 T5 automatic (2007, 95,000km) that he makes a “scratching” sound when he first(!) switches into the second gear after the engine start, then nothing can be noticed anymore, he switches as always, no matter in which gear. Even if I start again from the stand and he switches into the second gear everything is good. If I repeat the whole thing every time and turn off the engine before, it is again to hear this noise when first switching into the second gear, then it is gone again… I hope you can give me some advice! Turbocharger defective – must say goodbye to the Volvo V50
Well – on 01.01.2016 the turbocharger at my V50 (year 2006, 1.6d, 177000) said goodbye. The Volvo workshop informed me that the repair (loader, all pipes, oil tank,…) would cost 250€. Had probably also the wrong oil in 5W40 and they know internally that these engines can only handle 0W40… They also told me that even after the repair of the loader can soon break again. In the engine itself could be oil lumps and possibly also chips from the turbo. Does anyone have experience here regarding the turbo repair at the V50 1.6d? Can one sell the possibly so? BG maig1

V50 2.4i R Design purchasing advice
Hello. be close to getting this moose to me http://www.schrafft.de/index.php?a=used after having read the purchase advice here in the forum in detail, I came to the decision that it should be a gasoline in R design. After several rides to different gravelbed dealers and private sellers I decided to take one for a little more money directly from Volvo dealer. My driving profile is about 9tkm a year. Mostly a distance of 5km to and 5km back to work. Through the city. A diesel with PDF is not worth it. How do you find the car at the price with so few kilometers? What should I consider? Is the 2.4i perhaps not the right engine for my track profile? The dealer can do nothing at the price, but I get 1 year warranty as well as the warranty. TÜV and inspection New. Greeting Aleks

Volvo S40 II Headlights light up to the left
Hello and good day, I changed a few weeks ago from a Mercedes C-Class to a Volvo S40 II (Bj. 09/2005). I’m really very happy with the vehicle and the driving characteristics. Only one thing causes me problems. The main lights (no Xenon) both glow strongly to the left and I blind the incoming vehicles. A visit to the Volvo dealer showed that the spotlights were a little too low, but otherwise are fine. Nevertheless, they continue to glow to the left. Also the range seems too low (estimated 50-60m). In the search function of the forum I found many posts about spotlights, but nothing about my problem. Does anyone have a tip or a solution ? Greeting to all…..

Longer service life – anything to consider?
Hello together, because of a changed private situation my V50 has been for some time and still for an indefinite time more lantern parker than vehicle. In other words: the car is only rarely used, so again and again one to three weeks at the roadside. Then one to two days of “use” (exclusively long distance) are available before a longer parking period begins again. My question is now: Is there anything to consider because of the constant and longer standing times? Or is this relatively irrelevant to the car as long as enough long distance for the battery joins again and again? Greetings from Munich Thomas

C30 no oil pressure
Hello, unfortunately I have problems with my C30 again. With overtaking maneuvers the engine suddenly lost power. No engine control light only the oil can (oil pressure) lit up. According to the workshop the injection nozzles are clogged, but according to other mechanics, is that nonsense. Could it be the oil filter, sieve or the like?? Currently there are again many maggots on the road, I fear ‘only’ a madbit…?? Has somehow a tip or experience? Should I have the injection nozzles tested first, are also 300€… Info: Diesel, 148,000 km, last service (all filters cleaned!) ca 10 months ago Thank you for your help! Mic

V50 2.0d without DPF
Hello people, am new here My V50 2.0d without DPF Bj. 2004 is top there and also ran for a while really great. So now the problem he had at once a discreet jerking until one day the turbo stopped at about 2500 revolutions, so emergency run I think. I went to a Bosch branch office to read out the error, there they told me there are several errors over each other and they had to check a few things. The next day it was called the glow plugs have been changed about 300 euros and they just made a test drive. An hour later they called again, which was determined that the AGR-VENTIL and the charging pressure sensor are also there and now it costs 750 euros. The next day I fetched the car in the evening again and made an extensive test drive and see there, the car jerked even worse as before and regulated again at 2500 revolutions. So car then really back again and ask if here would be the hidden camera. The next day, car runs after 40 km of test drive and exchange of the pressure wall and another 150 Euro the workshop did not make the same thing of the turbo analysis?

V50 T5 sporadic power drop – ECM error codes
Hello, after almost 5 years of trouble with the driving behavior of my V50 T5, it’s been a bit of an accident for some months now. Actually, it’s only after he’s been busy with the 120s inspection at a Volvo contract office (with the spark plugs being renewed as well). When driving the BAB at constant speed, he suddenly takes his foot off the gas, jerks a little bit around the original speed. Occasionally, this happens even when I’m accelerating, which can of course become a little uncomfortable when overtaking. The yellow engine warning lamp lights up now and again. The rest of the time I can’t find any power loss, gas intake and acceleration are even. The following error codes have been read out: MMM-2000 control device internal error code is not active before ICM-1A58 communication with the global positioning system (GPS) is not active before error code is not active yet white.

Volvo V50 2.0D ECM-0380 Memory error
Hello! I read out my Volvo V50 at VIDA 2014D today. I found the following bugs in the memory: “ECM-0380 Glow Candle Relay Faulty Signal” I have to say, since I have the car (about 3 years), it sometimes starts a bit bad. So that I have to try 2-4 times. So I guess 1 to 2 times in the quarter he does the above mentioned problems when starting the engine. Now that I know that there is something wrong there, I would like to fix it, can one tell me what it is? VIDA suggests the following: -Check the free run on the alternator (which is ok and easily brings 14,4v) -Check the fuses (WELCHE?!!) – Plug, A-pillar, Oxidation (what does a cable that goes into the door have to do with glow candles?!!)
