Hello friends of the Scandinavian design 🙂 Since yesterday my little one shows me the following message: “Please book a maintenance appointment” ! Do I have to do this immediately ? Short information about this: My V50 2.0 D MY 08 has just 11234 km on’m Tacho and was only moved 6 months ago the first time !!! But it is a re-import that had its first registration already 07/2007 and then was not driven for about 7 months (!) for a long time ! Greeting Steffen

Smaller steering wheel
Hello together I’ve had a c70, great car for 4 years. But what doesn’t suit me from the beginning, that the steering wheel for the way and how to sit in it is too big for my taste, I still have a Sharan, which has a significantly smaller steering wheel. Sure, I know Volvo is Volvo…and you shouldn’t change anything. I just thought…the steering wheels at Volvo are all the same size or not suitable to my knowledge. Or you can add a smaller one from other model. Thanks for your tips Benji

Volvo V50 2.0d Error 246B Particle filter Regeneration ratio
Hey guys, I hope there’s some help here.. from my Opel earlier I was used to finding any problem online what to find but at Volvo it looks rather bad compared :/ It’s about a Volvo V50 2.0d from 2009 A few weeks ago I got the message that the soot filter is full so I had the DPF renewed 2-3 weeks ago (not original, the old one looked okay but still just renewed), message came back at some point, then bought a used differential pressure sensor (original). Message came back. I then thought, maybe the workshop just didn’t reset the DPF, even reset it and then 2 days no report. Before that came back again the message soot filter full but disappeared after about a minute. In the fault memory at first (according to the workshop) nothing was deposited. When the DPF (from me) was reset, and also earlier the error “246B particle filter regeneration ratio” was saved. Does that mean that it is too often trying to start a regeneration? My next idea would have been a new sensor (of course also original) but I don’t know how to buy the same thing at the same time?

I hope the constant rush has now come to an end…
Hello, today I re-ordered the engine designation for the tailgate. ( 7,79€). I used to experience with my old Golf 3 GTI, if the engine designation is recognizable, less is pushed on the AB with corresponding engines. What do you mean?? Picture in the appendix!

Brake pedal hard after service life, C30 1.6 d drive 2011
Hello again, I hope you can help me. It is about the C30 of 2011 (approx. 50k km) with the 109 hp 1.6 l diesel engine of my OHL. If the car is standing for a few hours, the brake pedal becomes hard. Just as if you were “pumping up” the brake. If you start the car, after a few moments the normal condition is reached again. When you drive you notice afterwards no difference, there are otherwise no further complaints regarding the braking performance. In the workshop the brake system was flushed, the brake fluid is about 1/2 year “old”. The guess of the workshop is that it might be a return valve in the underpressure hose or the underpressure hose itself “could be porous”. But since I have no desire to exchange suspicion (and then also logical way to pay), my question is to you: who had the problem already in a C30, S40II or V50 with the said engineization is clear now, and how was this solved? And there is a possible security risk for the future? Because the car is not used every day and in advance to show it again the same thing.

C70II case set for EUR 198,00 too expensive!
Hello you C70 fans, we had at our last C70II Volvo meeting in Michelstadt about Pentecost thought that by summer 2008 still in development suitcase set for EUR 198,00, to order together, for the negotiation of a quantity discount. Under the following link: www.roadsterbag.info/Volvo-Roadsterbag-Cabrio-Koffer.html you can look at this. Does not look bad and has in my opinion real handling advantages over all other suitcase solutions, which somehow do not fit properly, slip and “Dukriegstdenkofferdeck nichtcorrectzu” Attention: goes only with Pannenset and not with the spare wheel. A breakdown set from the accessories should cost only about the 50 EUR, compared to the original for approx. 270 EURONEN; mine makes itself at the moment clever, can take a few days. I have just asked for a contact request, because now with the availability of the head set to be reckoned with then with the availability of the head set, keep up with the as soon as I know. If you are interested you can report here in the thread. To the order can be exchanged with concrete order?

Switch S60 2.4i to V50 T5
Hello, I’m about to change from my S60 to a V50 T5 BJ 2005. The car has a previous owner, was waiting every year at Volvo and has 100,000km on the clock. Would buy it from the friendly Volvo dealer with new inspection. The car makes a solid impression. What call do I have to pay attention, or what are the typical flaws, flaws in the car? Are the inspection costs and spare parts prices on the V50 T5 higher than on my S60 2.4i or does that hold the balance?

My first Volvo
Hi I sold my Honda CRV after 4 years and bought the Volvo V50 Edition with even more krimms kramms (that was so)(new),which I get next Thursday, the Honda had no defects and was converted natural gas,but soon the change would have been on anyway, then the volvo dealer came up with one very much and now it’s just like that. In the beginning the 2008 models come anyway and so I could get the 2007er quite well,I had played with the idea to convert it to autogas, only then the guarantee would be gone and that with a new car??? Erdagas because of the increased space requirements rather not come back and I do in the year about 13000km,so not the hit, gibs such a retrofitter, which takes the guarantee on the engine there? I hope that the car runs well,is a 1.8er with 125Ps,that is enough in the city. Greet benno1969

S40 “R-Design” ?!
According to the catalogue, the S40 will be available as “R-Design” from autumn 07: “The R-Design leans on the legendary R-models and includes specially designed 17 inch light alloy rims, body kit, unique R-Design upholstery, steering wheel with aluminum inserts and other great details”. Anybody knows anything about it or even better: Are there any pictures ??? Gruss $id (which probably postpones his wish for a MY08 still a bit…)
