Finally it’s time to order on March 13th and pick up today: our C70 T5. On recommendation of the we ordered the car in the model year 2010 – and see there, we saved over Fr. 5000.- and received one of the last hand switches (from MJ 2011 there is only T5 as a machine). Again we ordered various accessories from Heico and at the Japanese manufacturer “Work” rims on the millimeter exactly for the C70; from America I let the curve stabilizer and the turbo tube fly in from ELEVATE … the waiting time of more than 3 months was curious about the torture, but the joy about the result was then all the greater. Volvo V50 cold start problems
Hello everyone! Have with my V50 (diesel, bj 09/2004, 136 ps) 2-3 problems: 1.) from an outside temperature of approx. -4 degrees the engine only starts after a very long start time. if that is so every time, my battery will soon be empty. how old is my battery, I can’t say. only the starter has to work exceptionally long until the engine starts. 2.) if I give full gas, I have (can’t specify the speed now exactly) at some point a short break at the gas acceptance (as if I would just climb from the accelerator, but there is no error message) 3.) I come with a full tank about 650 -700 km (then I am in the reserve, where I can drive again about 50 – 100 km) – normal? lt. on board computer the consumption is at 5.1 l/100 km – can’t be…. please to help, so that I will not be taken away in the workshop. thanks to many mf.

Quiet C30 D2 115 hp 6-speed manual transmission
Hi! I’m new to the C30 and so still in the “Kennerenlerphase”. Year of construction 2011 and mileage 31500. Recently I had my first long distance drive 2 x 400 km. The ABA was quite full so that often only Tempi was driven under 130 km/h in Kolonne. The radio was off and you had a pleasant conversation. I noticed the following: At speeds of 90 to about 120 km/h (most clearly at about 110 km/h) the loudest thing on the vehicle is not the engine (almost not to be heard) nor the tires or wind noise, but it was a funny rhytmic noise. When uncoupled it is immediately gone. It also doesn’t matter whether it’s 4s, 5s or 6s gear. The noise is almost the same. At Tempi from 120 km/h onwards take over other sounds, tires etc, the “first violin”. The noise is not extremely loud, but somehow, because it doesn’t matter exactly – but a “comish” Rhytmic noise is totally annoying, the idea is not the transmission?

Automatic volume control
Hello, according to the manual and the audio menu there is an automatic volume control, adjustable in three steps. If I understand this correctly, then the music would have to become louder at higher noise levels in the vehicle and quieter at lower noise levels. So it was at least with my old Fzg. and the Becker radio built into it. I can set in the menu what I want, it changes with higher or lower noise levels in the vehicle (e.g. highway ride or loud fan noise of the air conditioning) nothing at the volume of the radio. Did I set something wrong or is connected with this function something else.

Volvo V 50 DRIVe / A new moose is born !!!
Hello dear community, today I picked up my new V 50 DRIVe Momentum. What should I say… HE IS SUPI SPITZE !!!!!!! I had a little muffe , because of the DRIVe, performance and so,but…… He goes great, runs on his nevertheless noticeable harder chassis super calm and is good to lead, even at higher speed ( 195 km / h ). Yes I know, first slowly drive in, but it was itchy halt. In the inside room not much has changed, except the USB connection in the middle compartment, elegantly solved us funks also 100 %. Plug in and off for it. The sound ( High Perform. ) comes clean and quite loud therefore, make fun while driving. Beautiful are of course also the BI Xenon headlights, but there I have to say nothing. Ok, here still 2 pictures to look at. Oh, the Speulerlip in front, is nevertheless more clearly to be seen, and on picture 2 well recognizable the small wings on the rear disk.

Hello, I’ve been relatively passive here in the forum lately. I just wanted to say good-bye shortly after a good 5 years here. After my S40 had a braking system failure now and therefore had to go to the workshop for the 24th time (this time towed) it was finally over between me and the car. Unfortunately, I lost my confidence in the brand and it will certainly take some time until the confidence is built up again. Since the Volvo test cars with < 5000 km of mileage already had various defects (whether C30 or XC90) I think the Volvo should change something again in its final control. Volvo is still a very sympathetic brand to me and the people here in the Volvo Forum were/are just top! I wish you all a lot of fun with your vehicles and hope that you will be spared my problems (though I think it was just an absolute Monday car).
