Unfortunately the car did not run in the 6 course any more like 80 kmh. One day later I went to the dealer and there was of course nothing more, everything was like always ( funny thing ) The master was able to find out but nothing – but the control unit was in suspicion. BC value vs. actual consumption
servus, had to realize in the last time that the displayed consumption of the bc’s does not really correspond to the actual consumption. my problem is I consume with my 2.4i (automatic operation) according to bc 9.5 L/100 and actually I come with the 62 liters in the tank say and write 500 km far which corresponds to a consumption of 12.4 L/100 ! I am less irritated by the strong deviation between bc/consumption but that it consumes at all! I still drive very well (not over 130 h/h, looking forward) (30% motorway, 40 country, 30% city) there were also no changes to the vehicle that would justify this development ! question: is there any software that can reduce the consumption ? what possibilities do I have in general ? please ask for info…. grias cc

V50 roof rail in silver?
I know the topic has been discussed here before. But now after the facelift the V50 appears in the catalogue and Internet with silver roof railing, as an option. Also in the price list it is in (not the configurator), with 350 €, 100 € above the black one. Dachreling is a matter of taste, I struggled with me for a long time. When ordering, the seller said that it was only in black. I find silver looks much higher (see Audi A4). I also discovered a V50 with roof railing in silver at the autoscout. Does my dealer have the right or does he have the silver from the factory?

Condensed water exhaust
At my S40 T5 I have wet areas under the tailpipes after parking on the left and right. I know that condensation is formed during short distances and cannot evaporate, but I find the amount really cracked. My work path has not changed in the last 4 years and there has never been such a thing. Today there were wet places of about 1 meter in length on the left and right !!! Is this just like that with Volvo or could the problem lie somewhere else ??? Did I notice this already after receipt in September (when it was still warm), but I thought it was probably on the new exhaust.

Only trouble with V50 Built. 04–does it get better with the new ones?
Dear experts, I have been driving a V50 diesel as a company car for 2 years now. The car only causes trouble. Every electronic problem occurs. Always tow and rent a car again. Always never know exactly whether you arrive, or in which emergency running program you arrive. I think about having the car checked out. Are the new V50 more reliable, or is a brand change better? I am grateful for every tip.

Which gearbox do I have to buy?

If not, please correct me Currently I’m totally lost: 3 weeks ago I bought a Volvo V50 and now I know that it needs a new gearbox. Now my question is: What do I have to buy? At Volvo costs a new 270€, which is why I look for a used or overhauled gearbox. Now to everything I know and what I consider relevant: The chassis number is: YV1MW765262184449 Engine: 1.6D with 109hp Year of manufacture: 03/2006 Gear type (?): MTX75 (5-speed gearbox) From my gearbox I could photograph the white paper – but not everything. When I wiped away the rest of the oil with Aceton was the complete font away. I attached the pictures. The code is: XXXX 7002 YF (The X stands for: I have no idea what a letter is) My problem is also that every hand says something else. V50 Error Ventilation System (Interior) CCM – 0070
Moin moin, I have been having problems with my air conditioning/ventilation system for quite some time, not really warm in winter and not cold in the “summer”. I have added a few current screenshots from VIDA. Main error code CCM 0070. I tried to start a calibration with Vida several times. I had to stop once, because after the status had not changed after 10 min, the next attempt ran through but the problem has now rather strengthened. Now it is so that I get on the driver side, regardless of the desired temperature setting, sauna feeling and the passenger at the lowest temperature setting minimally a lukewarm breeze but nothing cold arrives. Do your experience or advice about the problem (VIDA DICE is available)? Thank you in advance!

Purchase advice: V50 T5 with almost 300,000km
Hello, after the sudden injector death of our Ford Mondeo I am looking for a combination. I had originally thought of gasoline engines, because the annual run performance will probably not exceed 14tkm and will also be a rather high short distance share (<10km). I came across the Volvo V50. In my vicinity one with the T5 (220 hp, MY 2004) is running with something over 280tkm, automatic (edit: gearronic, oil change unknown). Two topics concern me concretely: First I have seen sooty (?) residues in the oil cover. Oil sludge is not known to me specifically as Volvo problem but can someone tell me what to the picture in the annex? Normal? Fingers away? Second: Topic AHK. What trailer load can the V50 pull with the engine? The all-knowing Internet speaks of 1500kg but that seems to me quite little... Then I also like to hear some of the emotions of the magazine.

V50 D5 Traction
Hello, I have asked for your esteemed advice in connection with the above-mentioned V50 D5. I fear that when starting through the front drive, the wheels are constantly spinning, or does the automatic have some control over it? – Also and especially with regard to the trailer or WW operation, which takes place only twice a year. My heart-grown A4 Avant 2.6 with Flüster-6-Cyl. I will of course miss a lot at the beginning. But after 11 years and yet many rep. interventions, as well as 14-16l/100km!! is it now time. EU import: no replacement car in case of warranty!
Hello, my V50 has to go back to the workshop for a longer time. In short, according to VCG’s official statement, there is no free replacement car, although it is a warranty repair that takes at least one day. Reason: It is an EU import vehicle. I could not tell if Volvo Netherlands would pay the car, nor if there is a general regulation. VCG pushes the thing to the friendly ones. It is up to him to provide me with a car in a friendly way. Of course, he refuses. That’s what I call absolute customer displeasure. Let all inspections in Germany do, nevertheless nobody feels responsible. I don’t even want to think about what happens when you have to use the “mobility guarantee”. “Our goal is to be the number one worldwide in terms of customer satisfaction.” After all, you have to spare this embarrassment on the Dutch side Volvo for life – I laugh at it!
