I am at the row – so start the engine – and then came out of the engine room noises as if anything would rub or as if the clutch had not kicked properly and the gang was pushed hard – so immediately motor out and with pulse 180 on a new and see there everything again as at the latch – halloween of my V50 sweet (diesel) or acid (new noises) and that where tomorrow after tirol must be about 500km naja you can only hope – that there will remain no lasting damage to man and machine# achja knows this already from you? mfg ziegenbart

Shock absorbers defective???
Hello all. My V50 2.0D momentum has now almost 60,000 on the clock and for some time now I hear a slight clapping from the front when driving slowly over uneven roads. It is not to be heard on normal ride. Was already with the friendly, looked under. Everything solid, from coupling rods, stabis to underrun protection. Can it be event. that the shock absorbers are already finished or close to it? With my then Astra-F it sounded the same. Especially with cold dampers. After a change of the dampers was calm. Volvo thinks that they have no problems with the dampers, but I don’t trust the club anymore… I can’t make it out about driving behaviour, is still like a board on the road. Does anyone have a similar problem???

Volvo V50 2005, windshield wiper no longer after changing the heat exchanger
Hello together, after I froze last winter, because my heating did not work, I decided last week to venture to the project heating => heat exchanger switch. After watching various videos on the topic I then successfully completed the change last weekend (slip 10h). Now unfortunately the big one but… This morning I had to realize that my windscreen wipers at the front no longer work, but the wiper at the back and also the wiper water pump/ nozzles work at the back and at the front. I have no idea where, how, what I forgot? or possibly damaged. The fuse in the engine room No.17 is healing. I hope you have ideas!!!

Volvo V50 T5 error message reduced performance
Dear community, I have been hoping for some time now to rule out a problem with my Volvo V50 T5 automatic 220 hp. When driving a motorway with switched-on cruiser he suddenly knocked out of it and thwarted the power. I have restarted the vehicle and was able to continue driving with the error message in the BC ”decreased power”. At the time the vehicle had felt still about 170 hp. After deleting the error memory the error message came since only when I activated the cruiser. In the error memory the following errors were filed / Bosch Tester: – 21AD Long-term mixture control, lower partial load/component function at the control stop – 1230 air mass meter signal too low – 614B outlet shaft control position Faulty From this realization I have now changed the air mass meter, which unfortunately did not bring any improvement. After deleting the fault memory and restarting the vehicle, the error message has not been checked again.

Brake pads down front after 60000km ?
Hello you, just my 18 month old elk is at the 60000 inspection. just he called and meant the brake pads you have to change in front. it was however no wear-warning lamp on or something. Not that I am standing on the brake now like a madman (yes, I know the accelerator is right) but I had a stone between brake pad and disk a week ago. That squealed and cracked like a sow, but after a short return drive the noise disappeared like it had come. Could it be that the pads got something? did not notice anything while driving before. I’m curious what the original VOLVO coverings cost. Squeezing (tweezing) on the front wheel
Dear community, for some time now I hear an annoying squeak (or better say chirping) on the left front wheel of my c30. It only occurs when there are short bumps, so when driving over cobblestones, gulli lids, potholes (which I try to avoid of course) etc. Strangely enough, you can hear the noise even when you close the driver’s door (so as not to say “beat” or kick against the tire. Sometimes this noise is also not reproducible, so it simply disappears. The friendly one said he has never heard anything like that. I am grateful for any advice, because it is slowly annoying me…

Warning message: “Error in the electrical system” battery or is it missing?
Hello dear VOLVO municipality, since yesterday I have the following warning message in the display of my V50: “Find out errors in the electrical plant – workshop” (not exactly quoted!). It also lights up the battery symbol in red and in the middle a red warning triangle. Today it went under & over: failure of radio, ESP, ABS and lastly even the power steering (the vehicle hardly allowed itself to be steered!!). Can this easily lie on an empty/defected battery or can actually the electronics be defective? I ask because I would change the battery myself. Otherwise the car goes naturally into the workshop. I have a V50 BJ 12/2004 with original battery. Incidentally, is the first problem with this vehicle. VG Tobias

Hello, for me the left wheel bearing makes noises. What does a new one cost? Is this also available in the accessories, or do I have to go to Volvo?
