Volvo V50 2.0D problem with accelerating LMM? recently bought me a volvo v50 2.0d and is basically satisfied. only I have a problem: if I accelerate (from approx. 2000/min) he does not take the gas again and so on. the most I notice it from 2000 – 3000/min. the consumption is also approx. 8.0 l. that is too high for me. has someone also this problem and what can I do? I was in the workshop – but they did only a software diagnosis and “naturally” found nothing. with my previous car a golf tdi I had the same problem – because it was the air volume meter (air mass meter – lmm).

V50, 2.0D really that bad?
Hello, I’m going to buy a new car in the next 12 months. Maybe it should be a V50, 2.0D. Now I’ve read here that there are many problems with the 2.0D, but they should be fixed from MY08. Can you say now if that’s true? Where were the problems exactly? I drive about 20,000 km a year, there is actually only one diesel in question for me. We “repair-friendly” is a V50 actually. Can you change the light bulbs yourself or do you have to go to the workshop for it? Drive it only in contract workshops or is the car in a free workshop just as well. The next dealer is 30 km away from me. Greeting, Peter

V50 2.4 Automatic with 140 hp
Hello @ all, I’m here to visit from the BMW forum and would like to have your help. With a Volvo dealer 2 V50 2.4 Aut VFL at a reasonable price,as those from the old MJ are. Since our Polio 1.4 Aut(company whore!*G*) offers a little too little cargo space,I wanted to buy a station wagon in the company. However, this car is only moved in the city (about 10000 km/year),I am not sure whether the 2.4er with automatic mutates to the drunker…even the Polio needs 9.5 liters…is probably record-breaking!*G* I like the car well, and the price is interesting,it is on Golf-Niveau,but it is probably much more economical with the TSI technology(122 or 140 hp) than the 5 cylinders of the Volvo…or?The comparison is fair, but that would probably be the alternative:-( Maybe you can help… …did you look at the new V70 yesterday and rarely have been totally delighted by a car inside like outside,a LGI looks better than pictures…

1. Inspection!!!!
Hello, your moose community!! Had now my V50 2.D for the first inspection. Cost actually normal, 320 Euronen!! In addition, the xenons were set to maximum height, see there, there is better light! At the same time a new software for the ventilation engines was installed, noises are now gone. In addition, the driver’s seat wanted to take up its creaking work, here was created by fat of the seat frame remedy. So far I am satisfied with my friend Many greetings

Small accident damage
Hello guys, my father has unfortunately scratched my V50 on the back of a wall this morning. I put a picture of it online on Monday, here first one where I marked the spot. The bumper is broken in this area. A small hole is inside, otherwise on approx. the marked area deep violent scratches. # Now my question(s): What to do?! I think that I don’t get around a new bumper, or?! What does it cost? Will I get it also with any car users? Please leave only serious comments and no instructions. Also as PN. Christmas greetings, Marvin

V50 1.6d
We’ve recently had a V50 1.6D in the fleet (Xenon,Navi,CD,Telephone,Alu..). I’m actually thrilled. For the “little” PS it goes very well when I compare it with the other diesels in the fleet. I also find the big Navi very good and easy to use. But unfortunately only with remote control. However, I noticed some negative things too: – far too many buttons in the middle area of the cockpit – the engine vibrates extremely strongly (in the stand) – the key must be turned in the hand before plugging in the ignition lock every time – the light switch is for small people with children’s hands – the storage compartments are modestly small – the middle armrest is not adjustable Otherwise a nice car.

Decision-making aid V50 D5
Hello, I am looking forward to buying the V50 D5 as a hand switch or automatic machine. Actually, I would like to have an automatic, but 50 NM more torque at the hand switch is also not to blame. Unfortunately, I can’t test both vehicles anywhere, because the one variant is not yet delivered and because the machine is not available anywhere. So “I had to drive a V70 D5 MY 07 with 6-speed Geartronic and 400 NM to the sample, which probably is not quite representative. Therefore my questions to the D5 experts: 1. Are there any significant differences with regard to switching comfort and speed in the two Geartronics? The V70 switched fast and low in power during the kickdown, but for my feeling he often caught a too low gear, which was also immediately rewarded with entry turning numbers around the 4.000 “rewarded”. 2. The V50 is supposed to take a 2-3 second break at the kickdown, until something is worth mentioning. Does that really true? With the V70 I couldn’t find something like that. 3. The (lowed) V50 was extremely close to the D50.

Current: AMS Test Octavia- V 50
Hello fans, I was already excited about the AMS this morning. There is a new test Skoda Octavia – V50 1.6 D, which the Octavia “naturally” could decide with 506 total points against the 470 points for the V50. A joke is the rating of the series/additional equipment Octavia 15 points (highest score) against Volvo 1 point. So of course a lot comes together. There you wonder what such a test makes for a sense. That the Octavia offers more space and is also cheaper to have, we all know, but with all the other criteria were almost the same. Already a bit strange. Nevertheless, I am happy every day again on my elk. Greeting Paulchen

2.0 D when stronger engine?
Hello, does anyone have any idea if/when the 2.0 D should be offered with a higher performance? The 136 hp are quite little compared to the competition. Certainly you can also buy a D5, but it also costs a lot more, both in the purchase and in the maintenance.

Quality V50 Momentum 2.0 Diesel
Hello V50er, recently had the opportunity to drive a V 50 Momentum with 136 HP diesel. The car had approx. 4000 km on the speedometer. (+) – good chassis (straff, but not uncomfortable) – precise power steering – very good workmanship, no noise in the interior – strong diesel – comfortable seats – seat heating – good quality impression (-) – automatic door locking – penetrant belt beeps – simple dashboard, somehow does not fit to the aluminium center console – interior materials could be of higher quality from the surface and haptic – too many small switches in the center console, partly unfavorable behind the switch lever – round view somewhat limited, small rear disc – low seating position, almost like in the Audi A4 – loud diesel engine, which sounds like diesel, and always a good alternative to the V 70, if you want to reduce yourself, and certainly much more “premium”, as for other manufacturers in this class.
