Hello, I have a question. I will get a V50 soon, but only with the performance radio. Now I have read a lot in the forum and unfortunately you can’t change that. I will probably change the speakers in the doors. Now the question: is there the possibility, like with a normal radio, to connect an external amplifier? Does the radio have any (cinch) outputs? And could someone please adjust a manual/link, how to get the door panels off? I can open the link, but then see only a white sheet…? Thanks for your tips!

Hello, last time I found a nice V50 Summum Bj 02/2005, who wanted everything my heart wanted. On Monday I will look at this one. Unfortunately I don’t think this one has a particle filter. In the advertisement nothing is mentioned. However, I talked to the seller about particle filters, because the car has about 84,000 km away and I asked Him if the additive was renewed. Then he said that he didn’t know it, he thought the additive had to be replaced only at about 120,000 km, like the particle filter. Did someone know from when the V50 was delivered with particle filters? I always thought from 2005, therefore I knew blue-eyed that he also had a particle filter. If no particle filter is installed, the car becomes uninteresting again, or? mfg

And at the same time to Ford! My car passed the HU as well as AU without a single shortage. Just as it belongs to a car that is 3 years old (well, 3 years old allowed). It really everything was tested most meticulously. Belts, tires, brake values, Simmerrings, discs, exhaust, mirror, steering wheel, airbags, warning lights, etc. – really EVERYTHING what else could break was tested… Not a single lack. Only the handbrake, but that was not worth mentioning… A deviation left-right of 10 daN (130-120), but that’s not even worth mentioning (why I mention that? Hello, we have an engine damage on our V50. Year of construction 2007, bought last March. The soot particle filter would be clogged and therefore our used car warranty will pay nothing. When we bought the car he had 120,000 and a new soot particle filter in it (which was probably already clogged before). We drove with it 30,000 km and often long distances, therefore we think that we did not have the part clogged by wrong driving method. In the meantime already the turbocharger and the light engine was broken (only trouble with the car!) In theory then something else would have led to excessive sooting then, if the thing is so fast again, or? Do you have there perhaps some clues what could be responsible for it? Oh, yes: it was not indicated to us that the part is clogged. The car has jerked well, my friend has driven next to it and has called the ADAC and there was already too late… Differential pressurer broken? When the previous owner had the clogged soot particle filter was probably at that time, but at least did not return to an error message.
