Hello, I just noticed during the car washing that our C30 does not have a lower radiator grille, i.e. in the middle below the view of the radiator is directly clear. This is the first time in 2 years that I notice this – our V50 has a grid there. The photos we took when the car was new show that this was already the case when it was delivered in January 08 (see appendix). My question: Is this also the case with your C30?

Dear elk forum In February there is an accessory action in the CH for retrofitting a Navi Garmin nüvi incl. holder, cabling etc.; looks very clean, no cables, good integration into the audio system, Bluetooth for your mobile phone etc. What do you think about it? The restrictions on luf performance are known to me (Lohnkosten are always paid 100%). Are there any other relevant restrictions. Moin dear people, since today I am, until now, satisfied V50 2.0d driver. I bought the good piece with 134,000 km from another manufacturer – runs also really nice. Now the wormwood drop. According to Volvo he got the last inspection (100,000) at approx. 113,000. Accordingly, when buying the, though late, infamous 120,000 inspection incl. DPF change was now on. I had the implementation of the Volvo inspection no. 6 of course included as part of the purchase contract – was already skeptical that the dealer accepted that without twitching. Today I then picked up the car – maintenance indicator away, new oil sheet on it, generally good condition – I was happy. Then I drove to the friend who knows himself better with cars. Since I was still skeptical about the DPF exchange, we looked under the car – but only on knees from the side. I have discovered where the DPF should sit a fairly old-looking, silver part – could be a cover plate, but is also covered with the neck like the DPF.

Hello and good evening. I would like to buy a new car next year. My favourites are very different, all in front are VW Eos and Volvo C30. Never thought that a Volvo could be of serious interest to me. But a test ride with the current model was really great, maybe a bit unportable, but went still (the 2.0 D with 136 hp, steering could be more direct). A visit to Check24 shocked me even more, in the insurance would be a C30 with 1.6 D e.g. considerably cheaper than my old Polo. And then still look around at Spritmonitor.de. Can stay under 6 L diesel / 100 km if you try harder. Now the question to the Volvo forum: A new C30 is not financially in question for me. What do I need to know about used C30 or generally about life as a Volvo driver? Is the maintenance perhaps particularly expensive? Are the cars more repairable than others? Are the workshops more expensive and perhaps even worse than those of Allerweltsmarken? Would I be very grateful for a few comments and thoughts that can help me in doing so, perhaps more interestingly than the C30.

Good evening. At my Volvo C30 (model year 2008) 1.6D appeared today on the highway – on wet road – suddenly the following message “STABILITY CONT. WART. REQUESTL.” + “MOTOR PERFORMANCE REDUZIERT” The yellow triangle and the yellow “i” lit up permanently on the display. I would have to drive about 600 km tomorrow! Very annoying.
