Hello Elchfreunde. I’ve had my C30 DRIVe Kinetic D2 for a good 7 weeks now and I’m really thrilled, especially from the noise level, had a Golf 5 1.9 TDI before and it was unbearably loud compared. But now to the problem, my start/stop doesn’t want to work! So far I drove a good 3000km and he switched off exactly 1 time after I drove 600km of highway at a distance. That can’t actually be, right? The car is Ez. 8/11, 6 gear and has now run a total of 37tkm, I drive 23km a day per way to work, the temperatures are currently still quite mild, so actually there should do something, right? I bought it at the Mitsubishi dealer and unfortunately also has to go there because of warranty stories. Think they won’t really know the car so well, so I wanted to get n tips here before I make them all crazy. Does anyone have an idea where the problem lies?

C30 D5 bought, a few questions to the experts
Hello LG colleagues! I bought a C30 D5 6-speed today with very good equipment. Add a photohttp://i56.tinypic.com/301emc5.jpg R-design inside, R-design outside, Xenon, Navi, high-performance sound, partial leather seats, etc. The car is 2/2008 and has 31,000 KM mileage. I drove with it today about 300 KM and the car is absolutely great. I have as a driver (197cm tall) more space than in my last S60 D5 (disturbing handbrake on the thigh). Now I have a few questions to the experts and C30 connoisseurs: -Which wheel/tire combi fit the C30 well without having to rub something and you have nothing to change on the vehicle? Currently there are 17 wheels on it, then I will mount my winter tires on it in the fall. For the summer it would be interesting what is going on with the car? -What do I like the “Leder” with the partial leather seats (R-Degin), my brightly don’t have the D?

Crossover of the G4-Variant is looking for new combo – V50?
Hello also, since my G4 is slowly coming into the years, I am looking for a successor combi. Since I don’t like the spoilt Golf 5/6mix – Variant and probably there are often quality problems (comes from Mexico) I will probably switch to another brand. The V50-EU new cars are already so in the range of a golf, so I could also like a Volvo. That’s my key data: price limit for cash payment 22T€, about that probably financing. Kilometer power approx. 15TKm/year, day distance 2x 13km – probably only one petroler comes into question. I think so about the 2.0/107KW. My wish list at the Golf was quite short: Highline package – 1.4TSI/90KW, 6-Gang, Metallic, ALUs, Radio (RCD310) with 8 loudspeaker Climatronic, (as reimport approx. 20T€) How does it look like now at Volvo with the quality? First Ford and now the Chinets – that is still the good old Swedenstahl? Are all Volvos still available in order? How do you have a discount in Sweden?

At what mileage / how many kilometers do typical repairs V50 come?
Hello, the question is to know how this looks like on average when certain repairs occur. It is clear that something like this always depends on the driving style and maintenance, but I think a certain tendency can be seen. Is perhaps also interesting for potential used car purchases … So e.g.: Cross handlebar for X KM shock absorber for X KM axle cuff for X KM exhaust for X KM clutch for X KM etc. etc. Gruss E

Consumption by on-board computer
Tach together, does someone know, according to what criteria the on-board computer calculates the average consumption? I always thought, who calculates over the driven distance since the last reset, right? I notice however, that he mostly calculates too much with me. Example: Dangers km since last tank/reset: 548. fueled, to upper edge tank sockets: 49.8 liters. Average consumption according to BC: 10,4 liters/100km, average consumption according to my calculation: 9,1 liters!!! I know that the 2.4 liters five cylinders are as drunker, but I thought the difference between BC and “manual” is quite significant. Irgendjemand, who has observed the same phenomenon in himself? Greeting and good slide (but not in the car)!

Built 08 Tunnel console in year 06.
Servus, I’m playing with the idea to upgrade/change my Volvo V50 12.05 / 06 model from the inside. Would you like to find out whether it is possible to install the tunnel console of the C30/S40/V50/C70 from Bj.08. in my 06 model? MFG

S40 2.4i(T5), BMW E46 318i(143ps) or AUDI A4 1.8T(163ps) Consulting
Hello to all Volvo fans, soon I would like to buy a car and I am delighted by the S40 Bj 2004. I have to say that the car looks great, and as you read here, it is also very reliable. The only thing that bothers me is the high consumption of at least 10l/100 km, whether BAB or city, which is reported here in the forum. It is often recommended to the T5, almost the same consumption more power etc. I find the BMW E46 318i Bj 2003-4 as well as the Audi A4 1.8T Bj 2000-2004 quite good. These are compared to the Volvo more economical and according to paper also “so splashy” (compared to the 2.4i). I could well imagine that the maintenance costs are also relatively identical. My question would be whether someone could make a direct comparison between the cars, i.e. test drive or even better own experience. Oh so, the car should be with switch gear., so no PS or Tiptronic. I would like to thank you in advance and wish you a nice day.

Equipment
Hello dear people, since I don’t really want to climb through Volvo with the equipment lines I wanted to ask you where you can see this like the equipment line is in the car. I once read in a post that there should be somewhere on the B-pillar only I could not find anything there and at the SuFu I unfortunately also found nothing exact about it.

Volvo always switches to the emergency program
Hey people I drive a Volvo v 50 2 liter diesel Bj 2008. I have a problem, when driving from 2500 revolutions an indicator goes on in the display (motor system maintenance required) Then the engine switches into the emergency program, so I can not get over 3000 tours. If I turn off the engine and restart then it runs again and then it switches again into the emergency program. Was with it already in the workshop, they connected the then to the PC, and set the error back again. According to PC the soot particle filter is closed. But the car has only run 70,000 km. Is that so right? And if so what can I do so that I don’t have to buy a new one. The workshop has said a good blow-off and then it will be again, but that’s not possible because it only drives in the emergency program. I also saw this coming out of the injection nozzle diesel. I don’t know any more. Can anyone help me?

Like disinfection air conditioning?
Hello guys, I have a question for you. I know that it has been discussed several times, but I still want more background knowledge. It’s about disinfecting the air conditioning system of a V50 or Volvo in general. So, I want to know more about the individual work steps when disinfecting an air conditioning system. I had it filled up recently and I have an interior pollen filter that I would like to change now. PitStop told me that they can change it themselves and then come to us and we disinfect the system. I couldn’t quite believe the statement I made and I Googled something and see, there are the most different representations. How is it right now? Disinfection before or after changing the internal filter? How is the evaporator cleaned? Is it accessible from outside? Please no answers now, such as: “Drive to ;-)—. I just want to know the approach of the individual work step. Thank you.
