I have had a Volvo S40 T5 for 5 months, which is now two and a half years old.Now it has run 28,000 km. I drove 10,000 km.The tires are driving strongly in front of the car.Something at the back.I had the track checked, which is fine, but the fall is completely wrong, but can’t be set.Who did something similar happen? I was told you can only close a “compromise” in which you can change the track a little bit in tolerance. I haven’t asked the Volvo dealer about it yet.

Get new V50 D5
hello, now I also got my V50 D5 and must say that it is already louder than the 2.0D. also the steering is much harder and more difficult than with the 2.0D. but otherwise, my goodness, the thing goes like the lutzi 🙂 you have to get used to the automatic, but that was fast, only the switching is missing from time to time, but with kickdown it just doesn’t matter. have now in average at km-stand 450 only 7,3 liters needed and I didn’t even have that at the 2.0D after 8,000km. well that needs now between 5.5 and 6.8l, but for a driving phase I find that a very good value. what the small spoilers should do on the rear disk, that’s a puzzle to me.

Can you please contact the 2.0D problem drivers again?
Hello, since I just had to drive 100KM again and the hat cord almost bursted because the engine has started to spin for the 10th time or so now I write a letter a Volvocars. With your permission I will also refer to the problems here in the forum, because there is not even the approach of a solution proposal. I am definitely more than tired. I reset the BC before 5,000KM and now come to 8.7L/100KM on average. For the track Gummersbach -> Leverkusen -> Gummersbach (130KM) I have done half a tank, although I was traveling with Tempomat 160 and the night on the A4. Furthermore, my xenon lights spin completely again. Sometimes the light range is 3 tracks, today it was close to 1. I am so loaded….

Volvo V50 1.6D DPF problems?
Yes servus, now I welcome myself once in the Volvo Forum, last week brought a V50 as a winter car to ride down, now already the first errors for engine performance, when the Volvo is cold and the first kilometers on the highway does not drive any further problems, only after about 5 minutes from then after he has reached the 85 degree, have already been read out, although no Volvo diagnostic device but the error code tells you perhaps something.

Total failure electronics
Hello at Motor-Talk I have my Volvo V50. The problem is a total failure of all instruments. When typing on the brake, the errors are immediately there with various messages. E.g. Airbag maintenance, brake failure, power steering etc. All want of course to be absolutely maintenance or failure. But I can continue the car for 2-5 minutes without a turn signal. Radio, windshield pulley, window lifter and fan remains as it was before the failure and can not be operated anymore. After 2-5 min all errors are gone and I can operate everything again until I have to brake again. It has been for 5 weeks in a factory town of Volvo and every time that the saying everything is well I drive again a few days and that all errors come again. It is div. sensors (airbag, cat) and various relays dived out. The bad thing is the time I can’t use my car at all?

V50 has no more power and only turns up to 3000 u/min
Hello everybody, today on the way home from work I noticed that my V50 (2008er 1.6D slightly more than 100000km) has much less power and only turns up to max. 3000 u/min. Otherwise the engine runs quietly. There is no warning light. Since the workshop has now closed: Does anyone have any idea what that can be? It almost seems to me as if the turbo is no longer running? Can this be possible? Can I drive to work with it tomorrow (max. 10km)? Would you be very grateful for the answers!

Navi’s not going up any more.
Hi together! Have the following problem. Since about 3 days my navi in the S40 doesn’t work anymore. That means it doesn’t work mer up. Normally it worked up automatically, every time I read the car. Then a week ago I turned off the navigator so that it doesn’t always go up when starting up. And now!!! It doesn’t go up at all. I sometimes hear the electronic noise, as if it wants to fold up, but nothing happens. Can there ever help me?

Engine bearing D5
Hi , again en few questions from an ignorant . How does the noticeable when the engine bearings give their mind ? then wobble the whole car at the speed or as soon as it goes up mountain and you want to speed up ?! Especially where are the bearings sitting ? Have times the picture set up with ,from the front upper camp (or has a different name ) . Do I get that as an accessory ? Only where is the lower ,of which I have read more ?! Have already looked for a blast drawing or something like image with terms ,but not really found anything . Am there something spoiled by the Mercedes ML Forum , since it was somehow easier to find everything on the net … Volvo is just complete new land for me and then also diesel 😉 Thank you already already

V50 soft brake pedal/wide pedal path
Moin together For a few days now, my V50 2.4i from 2004 has been having a problem with the braking system. The following are the symptoms: With longer braking distances (e.g. easy braking on the way to the red traffic light), you have to keep the pedal going to keep a constant braking performance. It seems like the pressure disappears with longer braking distances. However, if you push it through to the rear, it slows down so strongly that the ABS regulates. In case of jerky braking (driving braking) the pedal is completely normal and it immediately grabs the ABS. Brake fluid is changed without improvement. So far no leakage can be fixed. Brake discs and pads at the front new (Brembo) When fully crossed through to the stop and standing car, I have according to VIDA about 115 bar braking pressure. But really up to the stop. When the motor is switched off, the pedal becomes hard and when you kick it and the engine starts there may be some questions after it should be main minutes. Have tested on a slope whether the brake holds the pressure. But for that I have not stopped the pedal so easily, the pedal is kept on the exact.
