Pediatric diseases Volvo V50 (2.0D; 2006)
Drive a used car for almost 2 years. Since then, the vehicle has proved to be a savings box – why money on the bench – it is nevertheless more beautiful in the car: -brakes around (o.k., wear at 145tkm – as often with previous owners, no idea) -ATL (allegedly due to DPF according to ATL manufacturer at approx.160tkm “normal” -DPF (changed at 120tkm – but is normal -track and fall set at 160tkm, since tires are worn inside – outside as new… -backside cross handlebars exchanged -power clothilter with housing exchanged, leaks (air bubbles) -Rossel flap (regeneration DPF) there leaks -turbo hose oily – cuffs leaks – only completely available… -LK leaks – still exchanged -climate condenser at 200tkm.

V50 2,0D DPF Momentum, recommended purchase
Hallochen, since I had to say goodbye to my faithful V40 due to an accident in April and the opposing insurance still ticks, in terms of the payment of the residual value, but slowly runs the time of it, now my question: I love a V50. However, many reports on the internet have made me somewhat unsure in the relevant car pages/fora. There is not well reported about the V50 or about many emerging problems. I would like to look at such a model: Quote: Body shape: Combi (5 seats) Kilometer level: 157.000 km First registration: 10/2006 Power: 100 kW (136 hp) Fuel: Diesel (dust filter) Air conditioning Multifunction steering wheel Fog wheel Non-smoking vehicle Radio side airbag Servo steering Tempomattion control How to get away from the center lock up 50 hours ago I had to say hello to the driver.

Price difference sunscreens 16 Euro!!!!
Hello everyone! I’m thinking about whether I should get the sunscreens!!!! Have a look at how much they cost and then I immediately lifted the lid on my head. My friend wanted to have enough 77 euro only for the rear doors. I went straight into the net and looked at what the Volvo.at cost—> there is 61 euro HOW DOES THAT DOES IT????? that the dealer is even more expensive by 16 euro than the ones in the net! Maybe one of you will know why that is??? Or maybe one of you has a couple at home that he doesn’t need anymore??? And of course I’m even sharper on Volvo.de—-> 75 euro! That’s too bad. Of course the question arises if it pays off at all original buy–> normally I always buy the original but this time I have to think about whether I should buy a No Name product!!! gruss Alex Alex

Applying for Volvo Kulanz
Moin moin, so I could experience the same crap 2 days ago, which has been reported here several times in the forum. Stand at the Aral in my S40 T5, wanted to drive away again and bangs he no longer took any keys. Result, new ignition lock, error memory etc, sometimes sluggish 300,00€ the whole fun. So and now comes the bad part, my S40 T5 is year 20.07.2004, is therefore just a tack over 4 years old. The Volvo dealer could not help me further in terms of cullet application, he also did not want to give himself the stress, at least I see it just not to pay a 300 euro, for a new ignition lock with a 4 year old car, if this mistake is also known for longer and Volvo waits as it looks instead of making a call back. Therefore the question, you see chances that I still get something, zb 50% refund or similar and especially to whom exactly must I or should turn, if I do not give all too much to my dealer.

v50/s40 MY05: cupholder question
hello, sufu was unsuccessful, or didn’t bring the desired result. I forgot to ask if it is possible to replace the rather “short/niedriegen/untiefen” cupholder from the MY05 with a deeper one? With a c30 car hire (MY 08?) the cupholder was deep enough not to drop 1 liter water bottles in the curve and not to push them out even at random when switching, which unfortunately happens to me more often with my v50. The rubber ring is also not the yellow one of the egg, because only 0.5 bottles fit in. has someone retrofitted his little one? and if that works: what does the exchange cost? best thanks and just greet, sascha

Engine maintenance urgently needed
Hello people! I understand that it is not the first Tehma with this title but it seems to me everything is different. C30 Bj10 1,6D 80tkm mileage. This error has occurred 2 times up to now, no power loss, after the restart disappeared again. Then the DPF cleaning started. No more consumption, everything as usual. I read out today with the ELM error. Looks like a salad plate. P2458 probably what with the particle filter… P2585 could be something with the additive sensor P0341 camshaft. Connection???? P1402 am not sure, I believe EGR. 90% highway rides. Additively at 60tkm. Software was checked up during the filling up was up and the whole about 8 months ago. The errors are probably related to some process. Read delete without any problems and will be in the next cleaning again. And now? Anywhere something with soot added?

S40: Tip and question about tires
Tip: I changed the front of my 2007 2.4 S40 almost driven and in total very loud Pirelli for 4 new Hankook Evo V12 summer tires (205/55/R16; made in Hungary). The 16″ tires are: – very quiet (as found in tests compared to Continental etc.) – pleasant to drive, because track loyalty in the straight run – with good traction in wet and dry – a little louder in tight curves So far pleasant and quite similar to the Continental at our V50. Question: Now it’s about a V50 2010er with 2.4 and 17″ (205/50/R17): Would you take or not take of the following winter tires? – Semperit Speedgrip 2 – Bridgestone Blizzak – Fulda Kristall As an Austrian my heart still beats something for Semperit (even if they don’t come from Ö for a long time) in the tests they cut off more or less equivalent. The question is now which of these tires from this price segment is recommended? The previous winter tires of Pirelli are a horror concerning the noise of the run?

Volvo S40 Purchase Advice – Engine + Gearbox
Hello, I love looking at a Volvo as the next car, mainly because of the safety aspect. I have already read a lot, also purchase advice, but I still have a little question mark over the head about the engines. The only thing is sure that it should be a petrol engine. In an article I have read that the 1.8 is a bit thirsty about the performance, but consume the 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 on paper and also on spritmonitor all about equal, +/- half a litre. (The 5 cylinders, on the other hand, consume really a little more, so I would already use the 3 limits). Can someone tell me if there is an outsider among the 3 motors, or one of the particularly positive points? And whether there is one in the gearshift or automatic one that should be avoided? I thank you already in advance for reading and answering
