  • V50 – Differences in model years

    Hello together, short question: I’m thinking about buying a used V50 with EZ 2009. Of course there are also offers of “younger” cars, so I wonder if there have been important changes to the V50 since 2009 that could influence the decision?   • V 50 D2 motor clutch and tightening problems

    Hello together, drive for about three months a Volvo V50 D2 and have the feeling that the first gear is really only usable for starting up and not for accelerating out. Also I have had problems with the clutch from the beginning (running), and after longer city traffic it has come off the engine room so funny.   • C70 + Heico springs

    Hi guys, I’m currently thinking about throwing out my H&R coilover suspension and “only” Heico springs (-30mm) up. Will I upgrade to 19″ Tomason in the spring. Now my question. How do the springs behave in terms of comfort? That it gets tighter is clear to me, but is there any unpleasant abnormalities? Does someone have the Heico springs in it and 19″er on it? Would I be happy about photos! All C70 that I’ve seen with feathers up to now have disappointed me a bit, because they were a bit deeper than in the back, from which photos would be really top!     Hello, my V50 was now twice because of defective injection nozzles in the workshop. I noticed the defect, that the car when the engine was running and warm was always extremely cooled for oil.   • Squeaking with running engine WITHOUT load

    Hello, I have the next problem with my C70 T5. During the ride, the warning light for “gas cleaning system” flashed several times and then went out again. One day after that, the lance went on permanently and at the same time I hear a squeaking / grinding noise when I’m driving slowly along house walls or guardrail. The noise stops as soon as I give gas. I was able to locate the noise in the standing car. It comes to the right of the engine from the deep. It sounds like grinding or tyres. When the engine is switched off, the noise runs out slowly. So it has to be a rotating part, which makes this noise and brings the warning lamp to light up at the same time. However, I haven’t noticed any performance problems yet. I have thought of the turbocharger under consideration. A blower or other part of it wasn’t immediately the exhaust lamp to light up.   • C70 II + D5, switch or automatic?

    Hello people I’m currently thinking about getting a C70 II. The D5 has a Sate 50 Nm more as a switch, so it would have to run twice as well as an automatic one. But now it’s like a brand new one for a week (I was the first to drive it) S80 D5 with a manual switch. And now I’m driving a V70 II EZ 12.12.2005 (delivered 09.12.05) MY 06 with also 185 hp diesel engine, but this time with the 6-speed GearTronic. Subjectively this is going much faster from 0 to 100 as the more recent S80 II with HS – despite automatic one.     Hello, for 1 month I have been driving my new V 50, with the 125 HP Flexifuel machine. Now I have the following questions: Is it normal that the engine is already running at speed 160 with almost 5000 revolutions? Unlike my old V 40 with 116 hp, the V 50 extem is more revolving, I am surprised. At 160 he had only about 4000 revolutions. He has now nearly 2200 kilometers down, purrs like a cat, but besides the increased speed is also the consumption still very immense. I am in the city almost 12 liters and also on the BAB he is still at 11 liters, if one steps it in the meantime. By the way, if I have filled E 85. I have heard that the consumption should decrease from 5000-6000 Klometer running power. Has any of you made similar experiences? Or do we have other opinions or suggestions?   • Control unit in steering wheel defective at v50

    Hello together. I have the following problem with my V50, Bj 2005, 1.8. At Volvo, they found that the control unit is probably broken, which is located in the steering wheel.This is responsible for all functions that are on the steering wheel.   • Additional heating smokes

    My V50 2.0 D has already squirted 2 times like stupid. The first time I had driven a road track of about 60 km behind me. After that it started to smoke in the engine room. I thought that the car torched me. I called Volvo and they sent someone from the ADAC.
