  • Volvo C 30 – horny box !!!

Hello Junx, I was in the new Volvo C 30 last week for the market launch for all Volvo dealers in Sweden We’re going to get the Audi A3 and BMW 1er sellers right because this is going to be a really good vehicle The car is the absolute hammer Volvo for life – and hopefully after 🙂

  • He’s here!

Moin Together, so since 10:30 am I am now also V50 – driver! Here’s the first impression: The most important: everything delivered as ordered! MY2007 Black rims Caligo Momentum 2.0D seat heating DALA/Textil –> anthracite Business Mobility Pack (phone, Navi etc.) The car is really well processed and the high performance system is really powerful. Rarely heard such a good serial system. Since we in the company also nn V50 MY06 have the visible differences here: – turn signal covers in the A Mirrors larger and slightly differently designed – MP3 – Radio with AUX input – Interior lightening unit at the front top completely redesigned – Somehow the mounting of the exterior mirrors seems to be different, at least so… Otherwise I can’t say much, except that he had 13km on the speedometer. To the other values and driving characteristics there is information after the first kilometers! Pictures still follow!! Greetings and a nice weekend! SideWinder80

  • ISOFIX – Preparation V 50

Hello, for the current occasion a question to the fathers (mothers) here in the forum. According to the equipment list, the V50 has an Isofix – preparation for the child seat – attachment. What does that mean concretely? According to my understanding, these are metal bars, which are firmly connected to the body and into which the seat is then locked. However, I could not find them in my V50 (MJ 06). Did I understand something wrong? Greetings LuThu.

  • Inspection+air conditioning system

Hello, must next week for inspection after 2 years (35,000km). Cost point according to information F.: 450 Euro incl. VAT. and brake fluid change On my question, whether the air conditioning is checked with, the F. explained to me that would cost extra 100 Euro. With this would be lubrication of the compressor and refrigerant change. In the normal inspection this is not included, however, it would be usual to have the air conditioning checked especially every 2 years. Or is it enough for 3 years. Greetings Moz V50 2.0D 05/2004

  • My Volvo stinks

Last night I drove home from a colleague and tried out the V-Max. My colleague is with a TT Quattro (250hp) in front of me and wondered afterwards that I can still follow him at 230. My speedometer indicated 225. On the levels he then went down to 220 but then kept the speed. So when I parked the car at home in the garage, after about 20km of highway with an average 170km/h, stank the pretty. I had the impression , that it was the clutch or the brakes. Ask yourself, does your car stink even after a quick AB ride? if so what do you think stinks like that? For info it is a 2.0D with RPF.

  • Replacement for C30

I’m already looking for something new next year. There’s plenty of BMW,Golf,A3,usw. of Opel and Ford to choose from. Yesterday I looked at the A1.A nice little car all great but that doesn’t hurt me from the stool it’s missing from all the proportions of a C30.So I keep looking and wait for the T3 110kw-150hp of Volvo for the C30.It could still suit me. and be worth a change. How isr your opinion. • C30 rims ATREUS against Cratus/MIDIR

Hello, at the moment I have the ATREUS 17″ rims from Volvo on it. I would like to replace them with the MIDIR 18″ or CRATUS 17″. How much are my rims (normal signs of wear after 2 years) still worth? Should I sell them best with tyres (summer tyres are completely new (1.7.2010), or rather only the rims and the tyres then pull up on the new rims? Current 17″ ATREUS rims 17″ CRATUS rims 18″ MIDIR rims • Which rim looks better on a Volvo C3 0 RDesign (Bj. 08) from ? CRATUS or MIDIR ? I personally like the CRATUS better. • Where do I offer my old rims? • What do I have to consider when I switch to the 18″ rims (of course I have to sell the tyres with the rims because they can not be combined with the 18″ rim, right?) Sorry for all my holes-the-cheese questioning, I have only been in the spell of the C30 and the associated car world for about 3/4 years. ch like to suggest other rims, but I’m more of a guard of the original rims. I mean, that’s just as if you were to remove your emblem on the radiator grille? If you’re taming for your car brand then you shouldn’t choose it at all?

  • 1st gear ticked

Hello. Drive a C30 1.6D year of construction 207 (model 2008). Now I have for a long time the feeling that the circuit is rather tacky. The last days it was very cold in the morning (about minus 6 degrees). I started the car and wanted to switch to the 2nd course. The 1st course went out quite hard and on the way to the 2nd course (still before the empty up) the circuit remained hanging and the gears gnawed – unpleasant noise. The gear barely went out. Somehow it went and I could again A few days later, the same thing happened to me again. What can it be? Is that because of the temperature or is there something over the gearbox. When it is warm, I don’t notice any big switching problems, although I find it is very hard. I’ve been to Volvo Krull several times, but they said it’s all right. Half a year ago, the switching cables were supposedly set, because I had a vibration in the circuit at about 100 km/h in the 3rd gear – which actually also w eg. KM-Stand: ca. 58.ooo km Thank you for your help.

  • Mobile navigation devices

Hello, this topic goes to all those who don’t have an integrated Volvonavi, but keep your navigator “mobile” because to use it in several vehicles. What experiences did you have with your navs like this? I got a Navi from Medion in 2005, which I would have liked to have scrapped several times in the last few months, since battery almost all and time again software and error messages. It had to listen recently often “This Sch….Navi”, however, was but not to “do” my “to do” the latest of TOMTOM GO 1005, and so far I’m very satisfied No comparison to Medion, very fast, immediately GPS reception, naturally easy operation, great clear display, constantly up-to-date live information, finally “freephone” for mobile phone or Blackberry and I’m already looking forward to the next further tour. Inspired by your experiences and recommendations Greeting Uwe

  • Sucking fuel chip tuning

Servus together! I noticed last night a company that offers chip tuning for the vacuum cleaners. Normally it is said that you get NO chip for vacuum cleaners… But according to the company there are software updates for all engines. e.g.: Example B4204S3 (2.0) Series: 185 nm, 107 kw resp. 145 ps With chip: 210 nm, 118 kw resp. 160 ps Well, I’m probably quite pesimistic in such things, because it is known that you can get more power out of a vacuum cleaner only with difficulty. However, it is actually true that there was/is the 2.0 in the Fiesta ST with 150 ps. At Mazda the m.E. 160 ps (in the MX-5) has. Thus it is conceivable that there are 160 ps in it, but only with 188 nm (2.0 MZR). At the same time one wants to guarantee a fuel consumption of 1l less than the factory specification… But there is not only for the 2.0 software, but also for 1.6 (100 ps -> 115 ps), 1.8 (125 ps -> 140 ps) and the 2.4i (170 ps -> 190 ps). I also have the turbos (diesel as well as gasoline) but somehow I don’t trust the whole thing – although with a lifetime guarantee is advertised. Does someone have experiences with the company “http://fasttuning.eu/”? The price as well as the performance yield (which you specify to reach) sound good, only the rest, i.e.: seriousness etc. should also be right… Does anyone have experiences here? Greetings DDD
