Hello, for a good 4 months a Pfft Pfft was heard mainly at the cold start on the belt side of my V50 1.6D. Well can be Lima or compressor or anything else. Now three weeks ago a high constant sound at stand gas joined, which is not to be heard when driving. Since today I know what that was. Lima defective everything to death, ADAC sends greetings (secure checked). When driving came first all error messages, then total failure. Now I have the belt down and the mo now only the crankshaft turns, but unfortunately still with Pfft Pfft. If I spray WD40 on it is short rest, but comes again at the next start. Now the question of all questions (remote diagnosis) Does it bring what to replace the belt disc (vibration damper)? How can I get the down, when the screw turns the crankshaft turns with? and then I need a puller? Or do I get it with 2 screw pulls as lifting iron? nk for your help Frank

Hi, wanted to start again last night, keys turned upside down and NOTHING! On the display the message of wrong keys appears again. Again nothing tries. I then up and got the second key also the did not work. The car open and close but works without problems. I then called the Volvo Assistance, had my V50 to be towed to the friendly and a replacement car (Seat Leon 2.0 TDI ). The type of towing service said it was the I bought the V50 in March 2008 . Since then I had to have the car to be brought in three times because nothing was going on. Three times I was in the workshop because there were defects at the engine. This was all repaired on warranty. But it can’t be that the car has so many problems in such a short time. I think about repelling the Volvo and switching to Volkswagen again. There had to be an immobilizer . Electronic problem. What do you think??

After a long waiting time my C30 edition is finally under the carport ! I think now to beautify the already beautiful car still a bit. I have prices for the Heico springs incl. installation 630 Euro, Heico track widening 40mm 200 Euro incl. installation and the badger spoiler in car color 520 Euro incl. assembly But I have a few questions for this: To the springs: I drive about 30TKM per year, it is at all advisable to let the car “only” lower with springs (-> w g damper) ??? How are your long-term experiences here ???? Is the price OK ???? Can the original Volvo sports suspension be retrofitted (just 20mm lower and possibly better adapted to the standard dampers) and if yes, what does it cost ???? To the distance discs: Same problem as above –> 30TKM per year, what about the load of the wheel bearings ??? Experiences on your part? To the spoiler: Is the price normal (over 500 euros for a piece of plastic !!!) ??? Are there alternatives to the original? al Volvo-Spoiler ??? Hi, I would like to order a new C70 on Monday, equipment and motorization are so far clear, it should be a Kinetic with metallic, interior Antrazith seats quartz beige and a few small things. However, I am still very unsure about the exterior color and fluctuate between the light blue celestial blue metallic and the pretty dark magic blue metallic. Does one of you have a C70 in the colors? unfortunately, my Volvo dealer has been “only” and “exclusively” for years. Hello, come from the SLK/CLK department and have questions about the C 30 2.4i : I could buy a C 30 2.4i Bj.01/08 for 16.800,- EURO. Equipment Momenium plus Bodykit, Xenon 18ner,part leather seats +seat heating, HP system, dark grey Met. incl. 2 years car incl. comfort electric warranty KM 31.000 . Is the “old” 2.4i motor soooo bad and no longer up-to-date ? I drove with it briefly and felt comfortable with the car. Fuel consumption is not so important. Optisc h a very nice car and you don’t see so often rather rarely.How are your experiences with it and can you assume that the machine – with appropriate care – is nevertheless durable? Hello, as already described in another thread, I would like to buy with a used V50 BJ 2005 MJ2005. I have a question about climate maintenance. In the manual I can find nothing about this. At what intervals does this have to be carried out? Is this part of the annual inspections or must be explicitly commissioned. (In the service booklet there are a lot of test points, however, nothing of the climate maintenance is written here) So can one assume that the maintenance was done (if necessary)? Can someone tell me where the valve for controlling the engine bearings is sitting with the engine? It probably hangs on the air filter box with the V70. But I don’t see it with me somehow. Think that the bearings are gone and thus he makes this kind of noise with the oil lid open. Then the turbo sucks / whistles extremely. Think any line is leaking. Where does it go long?
