  • Oil leak V50, 2.0d 2008,

    Hey, I’ve been having a leak in the lower engine compartment for at least 50000km. I noticed this from the small black spots in the carport. Forest and meadows workshop and Volvo dealer tipped on turbo damage, despite my doubts, because I had neither whistles nor power loss. So turbo new. See there, the oil stains did not want to disappear. Oil loss (with clean working DP, wg. oil dilution) minimal, I would say now per day about 5-10 drops. Tendency naturally rising. W I think I’m going on, but it’s starting to get creepy. And my colleagues are starting to wonder who’s car is in the parking lot. Now my questions to you: What’s the most common cause of oil crumbs in the model? Guess now I’m going to the shaft sealing ring, I’ve read that there’s a clutch side and a belt disc side, when both are changing? Is a KW Simmerring the same?     Moin, I finally managed to build my AHK under the car on the weekend… Is there almost no effort… First of all, everything worked without problems but….. I didn’t notice anything while driving, no power drop or anything else. After that I was with a friend who works in a free workshop today and was so friendly to read the error.   • Crack drive shafts! Glue or lubricate????? What’s right????

The one writing that you should “stick” the shafts with a special resin. The other writing that the drive shaft toothing is to be lubricated. And… I even read about changed sem screws, you should take those from the XC90. What is the right one now? Glue or sm What about the new (modified or reinforced) semscrews.   • V50 2.4i Air conditioning problem

    Tach, the air conditioning of my ELCH, V50 2,4i Bj2007 has a problem. Whether the climate works is a bit happy thing. i.e. with 70% probability it works at a cold start. The whole thing is usually 10-15 minutes good, then only warm air comes off. with a little bit happy I can then bring the climate by skilfully turning off and on again 10 minutes function. But that was it then. With a warm start it looks even worse. Z bad to not at all. The calender was filled up and transferred with a contra agent. But no visible leak discovered. The compressor magnetic coupling is off and on. OBD diagnosis I made with VIDA DICE – apparently the magnetic coupling sometimes gets off. with the free friend I was already – which meant that with 90% probability the compressor is broken. could it also be the capacitor? or both? thank you for your help Frederic
