Hello, since my C70 II has been running mostly impeccable so far, this is my first visit to your forum! He has now run 260,000. I had a failure of my air conditioning system about 3 years ago (no longer cooled) and have not yet had it repaired for cost reasons. After that he showed me the engine maintenance warning, did not put on properly and I left with my screwdriver which is not a Volvo workshop but one of the typical cheaper allrounder, that check. Fault memory probably showed something with the throttle flaps at the time, so they were replaced (my workshop probably took some help from a Volvo workshop for). Then it was a long time again. In between I was at a Volvo dealer, because I do the inspections alternately at a Volvo workshop, sometimes at my screwdriver. This told me when I told him about the story that this error message was possibly wrong and by the Fe I think Fuchs ik listen to you and didn’t react very quickly. Sometime later, however, he finds again to have no power. It is so that he pulls in cold the first 4 minutes or like a 40 HP car, after that it gets better but not the level that he should have. I was b an error message is no longer there but the limp performance is unchanged. Now I’m thinking about whether I should go to the Volvo workshop or to my screwdriver – what do you mean what is defective and how expensive this is going to be? I want to drive the car, which has experienced many of its kilometers on highways in its first 5 years, actually for many years and therefore not to repel it. Control unit defective? (VOLVO V50)
Hello dear community, I’ve been having a strange problem with my car for a few weeks now. And it was the first time that the air conditioning system has been vertically out again and again, i.e. on the driver’s side, warm air was emitted and on the passenger side only cold air. In between, the air conditioning also went quite normal again and again. Meanwhile, the problem has changed so much that the air conditioning system is now horizontally out. after work, but also not correct. In principle it is now that warm air comes from the front ventilators while the windscreen heating is no longer possible at all at the rear and front and no air comes through the ventilation even in the footroom. I also have no way to change the temperature of the air from the front ventilators. There just warm air comes out there. If I now set the temperature to maximum or minimum the climate automatic notices painfully “Okay, I have to do what The strength of the blower is generally the only thing that I can still set. I can NOT set which climate zones to be heated, I can NOT set which temperature should be in the car, I can only set how much the blower should work. I despair of LEDs for front
Hello, I would like to replace the interior lighting with LEDs in my V50 (Mj2012). I also got matching sets on eBay and Amazon. Everything fits and works wonderfully – in the trunk, in the roof sky fond lighting, in the footroom, in the glove compartment. Only the front four lamps (top in the roof sky above the switch lever, two pieces for “door-on” and two pieces for reading lamps) simply do not want to shine. The bulbs are W5W according to the imprint, the LEDs too. But I put the pears out of the sockets and plug the LEDs in, nothing more. I switch them off again for the pears, the light goes on. What could this be about??? – Turning the LEDs because of +/- I did of course – Switch on/off/a too – I’m also grateful for every tip.

Unconstant performance, short dropouts
Wertes Forum I drive a C30 2.0 D Bj 2009 with the 6-speed Powershift transmission. For a short time, the vehicle has power fluctuations, or even failures (feeling at least this way). These interruptions usually last only one second, then the vehicle moves on normally. The interruptions come very often, actually at every acceleration phase or when climbing up. Just at higher load. To solve this problem, I have the particle filter and the transmission oil for the Get I’m afraid it wasn’t… I’m asking for ideas. Thank you and I’m grateful to Sebastian.

Purchase advice Volvo C70
Hello. So I’m still looking for a dignified convertible for 4. At first I was pretty fixated on a Mercedes CLK. However, I haven’t found a suitable vehicle yet. The choice of CLK with diesel engine is relatively small and the equipment mostly does not meet my requirements. The biggest drawback is the fabric cover. Since the car will be standing out most of the time, it is a bit too dangerous for me with regard to frost and vandalism. That’s why I’m on the I don’t know about Volvo at all. It’s clear that it’s definitely going to be a diesel with automatic. Now, my questions: -What engine should you take best? How does it look like in terms of consumption? -Are there any problems with the roofs? So especially because of tightness and wind noise… A well-known one has a VW EOS and has to fight regularly with water breaks. And the Volvo also has a three-part folding roof… -I’ve got mi r already looked at several vehicles on the internet, many had this little aesthetic phone holder on the center console… Can you just lose weight? Or is it fixed? -Is there actually something like a loading possibility for the C70? -And what else. It’s pretty important to me that 4 people really have a good seat. Is that really so? I’m medium-sized, then the space behind the driver’s seat is enough for longer distances? As far as here… I’m happy e me over all the answers!

DSTC control unit
Moin, my C 30 1.6 d (Bj. 02/07) shows the error message “DSTC failed, maintenance required, reduced engine power”. After a restart everything is ok again, but after a few km ……….! Various errors like AGR, DSTC and others were read out. My friend wants to keep the little one for maybe three days now to systematically search for the error. So far so bad. We have now agreed on the DSTC-Steu get to exchange, because (and therefore my thread) Volvo replaces the control unit to a bulwark (50%). Cost me about 400 €. If your DSTC also sometimes zits around, you should perhaps ask if there is also an exchange on bulwark with your model. However, this regulation applies only until 23.(?) February!

Maintenance plan C30 T5
Hello! Did someone happen to have found the maintenance specifications for a Volvo C30 T5 (built in 2008)? I found nothing in the search function and also about google (maybe I’m only incapacitated ;-)) Anyway, I would like to know which points will be dealt with during which inspection. Somehow would help me even if someone had a plan of the 60 000 km inspection. Is the air conditioning maintenance there actually there, or does it have to be commissioned separately? after the advertisement veim Volvo dealer and would now like to switch to an open workshop. Nevertheless, I would like to make sure that the car is still maintained Volvo guidelines. Not because I am a penny fox; am only dissatisfied with my contract workshop. Hey, I just changed wheels at two Volven V50 2.0d. On the one (just bought) two white and one small blue on the other three white a blue markings were visible. Wat does that mean? Thanks for any clarification!

Hydraulic damage V50 2.0D
