  • Volvo V50 2.0 D BJ 2006 – “pocken” while driving (back right)

    Moin, first of all the data about the car: – Volvo V50 – 2.0 D – BJ 2006 – 130.000k KmNow to the problem: For about 3 weeks I have heard a “pocken” from the rear right when driving. At about 40kmh it starts to become well audible and the faster I drive, the louder/faster it becomes. I then looked at the tires and could not notice anything, but since they would have been up this year anyway, I bought new ones and had them raised yesterday. What else can that be?   • Volvo C30 – Suitable for beginners?

    Dear MOTORTALK forum, a little something to me: I will soon be 18, have the FS since Nov ’14 and drive since the regularly accompanied almost every day a T5 Multivan. I want to have as fast as possible own car and also have the luck to have a job next to the school to afford it ;-). But on the subject: I am very impressed by the Volvo C30 with the 1.6l machine. I have already researched in detail what a used one costs (car + insurance + tax + tax + tax + tax + tax + tax + tax + tax + tax stop + maintenance). The question I ask myself: Is it suitable as a first car of my own? Can I expect that it can achieve 200,000km and more without having to put in more than it cost?     Hello, my moose will soon be due for the brakes. Now I ask myself, which brakes are the right ones?! I kept pushing on them: Suitable for 16″ rims but not for 17″. In the bill are entered 205/55R16 90V, raised are 205/55R17 93W. So the 16″ brake system (front 300mm, rear 280mm) should be present, or am I wrong?     Hi together, excuse this senseless, moody thread. I sailed today with the C70 D3 in the federal republican highway reality just under 500km. I know: the 5 cylinders died because of too much internal friction, fleet consumption etc. But I have been on the road again with an average consumption of 6.4l.     Servus friends, I drove my C30 D3 from 2011 (99,000km) now for the first time a ‘longer’ route; exactly 260km highway. On average 140 km/h.
