• C30 alternative spare parts Ford?

Hello together! I have to buy a C30 – preferably of course T5. In the decision 2.4i vs. T5 really wins the latter, because the fun is bigger and the consumption and I don’t think the insurance is that bad. Much is a lot. Other consideration is also the 2L gasoline, which is more of a Papi compromise because he doesn’t want me to drive such a strong car (almost 20, so give already to count as a beginner… But “for my age and for my E I drive well. So far 35,000km driven) and I like to involve my father in the consultation because he has a lot of knowledge. But unfortunately from Volvo not so much. Now to the actual concern: Volvo is of course not a cheap brand in terms of spare parts. The C30 shares the C1 platform with Ford and Mazda. Are there many spare parts that fit from Ford or Mazda too? Because Ford parts would of course be much cheaper. As a future student I must of course at the expense a And if you are already there, what do you say to this offer? Actually, I had set the 100’000km as a limit, which unfortunately has 130’000. but I like it now. But it’s actually a few kilometers more… http://m.autoscout24.de/…/…-r-design-kinetic-zin-blue-272662615 I’m happy to answer and soon with my own m c30 to be able to mix here!

  • C70 II Splash protection in the back – and it’s possible…

Hello C70-friends, for 2 years now I have been annoyed about the fact that our C70 completely sucks during the smallest rain ride and looks like it hasn’t been washed for months. So I went looking for it, but it shouldn’t be ugly rubber cloths. Volvo unfortunately has nothing in the program. The main thing is ultra-wide tires, other brands are founder. My requirement was that I don’t have to cut or glue anything on the C70. Everything should be done at any time. At Mercedes-Benz I finally found out (see pictures). First I wanted to adjust the spray protection and then have it painted in car colour. But when I adjust, I already notice that I like it better unpainted and hardly notice it visually. Here you can see where the parts actually belong: http://carplace.virgula.uol.com.br/…/Mercedes_SLK_55_AMG_03.jpg SLK 55 AMG – spray protection back there also unpainted. The price of only € 10,– per piece is actually sensationally low, if you look at the other AMG parts like this. Now I’m looking for a suitable splash protection for the front, then I’m satisfied. I’d be very happy about your tips…

  • Air conditioning only at high speed :/

Hello So now my moose is also on :/ I noticed the following problem already last summer, then I used the KD, read out and had the cooling liquid filled up (has not missed much), then wurds anyway colder again and I used the climate anyway. Today on one of the first warm days with climate needs the problem occurs again And that is when I start the engine, climate turns on this runs about 5 min. impeccable, then it gets warm. 3 possibilities: -AC again from 10min. wait, then you go again for 5min. -driving at high speed 5000-6000 -Open window -sweat Volvo V50 2.4 EZ 2004 what can that be?!

  • Set handbrake

servus, my handbrake from the v50 2004 has different braking force left to right (left-särker right weaker). just but so that I have come through the tuev. have now taken off the wheel at the rear right, the tension spring at the cable hook times off but you can’t adjust there. rope moves perfectly while pulling only the wheel is hand-resistant only after the 3rd race. on the left this is already after the 1st the fall. now the question: where and how is the braking force adjusted. is the once the brake force adjusted. I don’t think the brake piston is fixed in the saddle otherwise the braking force would not decrease any more. Is there a guide for this? thank you gruss cc

  • Transmission oil change at manual transmission C70 II D3/D4/T5 not provided 🙁

Hello C70 II friends, today I wanted my C70 II D3 with manual transmission (as already mentioned in this post) to do good, and change the manual transmission oil. But far from it, it is impossible to reach the filling screw. You can see this wonderfully, but it sits press next to a carrier of the front axle. Reaching the filling screw is not possible with any tools, without first loosening the complete front axle or releasing the engine/gear and lifting it upwards In addition, it sits a little deeper in the housing, so that it can only be opened with one nut. A ring or fork key does not work. But even the 24 nut alone is already too long and does not fit between screw and front axle carrier. Is this to be grasped? Or do I make a fundamental mistake in thinking? The oil drain screw is beautifully accessible, no problem. However, the higher filling screw does not. On both, one recognizes the copper ring for sealing, they also look identical. I therefore rule out confusion. Obviously the transmission oil is filled in in the factory before installation and a change has not been planned at all during the inspections. Does anyone have a tip for me how to get the transmission oil changed anyway? Greetings Michael

  • When buying a Volvo V50, pay attention to the following!? Need your experience

Hello together, I like the V50 model from Volvo and I would like to get a good, reliable one. As with all other vehicles, there are certainly some things to consider when buying a used V50 or even very special flaws or weaknesses that can occur with the years. I would be happy if here expert and experienced V50 drivers could give me some advice and tips. I hope that my dream will soon come true and not to an A I’m dreaming! Sincerely Oliver

  • Voltage fluctuations

Hello, I have been plagued for about a year with the electronics on my S40 2.0D. Chronicle: Summer 2011 Defect Ignition lock -> Replacement Zundschloss, new battery autumn 2011 Defect eletr. system (defected LM) -> Exchange LM plus belts After that came the problems with the voltage fluctuations. Starting with a rather harmless flickering of the center console display, flickering stand light. But the whole thing then increased up to the failure of the complete tachoelemte wä During the trip (tour counter on 0, speedometer on 0). My contract workshop said that she had never seen anything like this before and was (allegedly) in touch with the Volvo headquarters. All of this happened in the winter of 2011-2012. The colder it became the worse the impact became. In spring 2012 (March) I was then fitted a new LM on guarantee. Now it went over spring and summer actually without problems. But now that the temperatures come down again the Problems – i.e. voltage fluctuations – again. I know that the causes for such fluctuations can be versatile. But vlt has someone here already had similar experiences or an idea where the error could be. The question is also whether it is worth it with such a problem to go on troubleshooting at all, after all the good has now 205000 Km down.

  • C30 1.6D Drive Start/Stop vs. C30 1.6D

Hello people! In addition to the newly bought Xc60 a little more economical should come now, and how thought, it must be a Volvo. The choice has fallen on the C30 1.6D. Now my question: Drive or not? Do you really notice the differences? Does the drive really save something noticeable, or is it just marketing? Do you possibly have the drive at home? Fuel consumption? Maybe one of the comparison I need here has already asked itself? I thank you for your answers lg praxe

  • Domlager (C30) – go to the valley

Servus together! Before about 15tkm my cathedral camps were changed in the C30 (at about 20tkm). At that time the whole thing announced itself so that during the slow shunting light squeaky/mahl noises came from the front left. Over time these became louder and louder and that was then so that then the noises did not occur during the slow shunting, but also during normal steering movements. Well, now the same noises have appeared again. Great… Why do I have the problems and others not? you need some information: -> 20 mm factory laying -> 18″er with 215 Pneus (Atreus) -> quite good roads (except for a few exceptions) -> careful driver who prefers to set back 3x than 1x the curb up-> never fully beaten steered I have no desire to have all 15tkm of new cathedral warehouses installed… Even if I have allowed the car so many “property” so far. Someone else the same problems??? I wonder how often the things already thaw before my purchase I’m sorry, but I don’t know what you’re talking about.

  • v50 2.4i makes grinding noise on the motor

hello after a long and very fast autobahn journey from berlin to home makes my v50 2.4i manual transmission 220tsd km strange noises: v50 2.4i grinding noises in the engine room please pay attention to the grinding noise. sounds like a pull-up car or an electric motor that is pushed. if you step in the clutch or insert a gear, this makes no difference for the noise development. ie it seems to be something that only directly involves the engine or the equipment attached to it has to do. light engine? a belt? air conditioning? servo pump? motor oil is enough in just as cool liquid. does anyone have any idea what that could be? can I still drive to the workshop or have to be towed immediately? thank you flobber
