The interior of my C70II (probably very similar to the V50) shines with countless storage compartments – which are however very stupidly designed. Practically there is no ashtray. So where with candy papers, apple residues etc? Is there a suitable box for the space behind (direction motor) the center console? Or a use for the beverage holders? If you still want to be able to place two coffee tap cups, how do you do that? In the front a cup, then an ashtray/waste container and then still use a holder of those for the rear seats?

C70 – Automatically turn off air conditioning?
Hello Together, as is well known, the operation of the air conditioning increases the fuel consumption. In addition, it is of course completely useless when the roof is open… I often drive long distances (>500-600 km). It happened to me often that I noticed only after 200-300 km that the air conditioning has tried to cool the surroundings of the car all the time. I can say that much I can say: She has not managed… Now I am looking for a way to switch off the air conditioning automatically when the roof is opened. Lt. mine there is no setting/programming for this. is that right? Do I have to live with it?

Which cooler frost protection for S40 II 2.4i 170PS ?
Hi, after in the operating instructions of my S40 2.4i MY2005 the suitable coolant is not mentioned with any word, let’s ask the forum, what is heard there ? Background is: At the moment the water in the compensation tank is unfortunately absolutely pitch black. I want to rinse the whole system with water soon and then fill it again, to check whether the water will color again black. It could be due to the cylinder head seal, however, speaks against that there is no bubble formation in the compensation tank with running engine and also that there is no oil film on the liquid. – Therefore it may have been due to the extreme short distance operation in the last years. Long speech short sense: What for a frost protection remedy belongs in an S40 II 2.4i (MY 2005) ? V50 T5 R-Design arrived
Hello people, after today my V50 arrived quite surprisingly (named delivery date was actually the 23.03) I have on the fast times a question: How did you attach your front marking? With or without frame? I would actually be for the solution without any frame, but am not quite sure. So, since I’ve been the proud owner of a C70 for almost five months now, there was already the one or other opportunity to shoot a nice picture of the moose. Used V50 T5 – a few questions
Hello together I recently had a 04 V50 T5 Momentum, black with approx. 110’000km smiled at me. If the dealer makes me a good offer in exchange for my Saab 9-3 he will probably soon be mine. After transmission damage now a defective climate……
After 40000 the PS gearbox on the board***** my climate loses the coolant. Was filled up about a month ago (was down to almost 300g). Today only warm air came again. Compressor doesn’t turn on anymore. So think that it is empty again. Really to break slowly the box. Car is just 1.5 years old… that’s not a lemon but a whole lemon tree…………doesn’t really have any fun anymore. I also hoped that the flapping at the higher temps will be less. was probably nothing. like a children’s rattle……….. Am already a little disappointed at the moment.

Optiflow Intake and additional instruments V50 T5
Moin, so I would like to know if anyone has already had experiences with the BSR Optiflow Intake?! I have already looked at the system of K&N, but I am completely averse to it, because the control unit does not get any “fresh air” in any way and could therefore possibly overheat it. I like the system of BSR already more, because the air filter is still shielded by a complete box which is roughly identical to the original part, also the connection for the fresh air supply is guaranteed. I would like to install something like this, however, because the control unit is usually cooled by the flowing air. If anyone has had personal experiences with it, I would be happy to hear if a cooling of the ECU is actually guaranteed. Point 2 Besides, I wanted to build additional instruments, mainly oil temp and oil pressure, but charging pressure would also be nice to thank you. These new cars have something that is no longer in it, actually something that is really useful!

Problems with my C30 D5
Hello to all friends of Sweden. I have my C30 D5 Momentum with all the extras except body kit since March 07. (price approx. 35T€) I find the car is a small but very nice blender. After about 8TKM and half a year I can report the following: 1. Low power, subjectively at the level of approx. 120 – 140 Diesel-PS 2. Consumption between 8.3 and 9.5 l/100 Km after “Software update” in case of two complaints with the dealer (before 9-10,3 l/Km) 3. Top speed is not reached – max. speed approx. 210 km/h (but only after a long start) 4. Rugging in gears, especially when switching down in the small gears 5. Kick-down is only reluctantly assumed 6. Cracking in driver’s seat during cornering 7. Wind noises in the driver’s door starting from 160 km/h 8. Disc wiper motion on the brake pedal is noticeable 9.
