Hello everybody, it’s about the V50 1.6D – BJ 2008 – 130,000km the following problem: In recent times the message “Warning, checking the electrical system” accumulates shortly after the start (sometimes also on the AB when many breakers are on). The message usually disappears after a two minutes. In the connection also messages about the failure div. sensors appear. I then switched on suspicion the battery. After some time, especially now that it got cold again, the M eldungen again until the car was standing one night after a 2h motorway ride (at approx. -2°C) and then did not have enough juice to jump around. At the measure arrives at the battery after the start ~11,9 V and commutes after a few minutes to ~13,4V (without builder heating/radio/light). Does therefore seem def. to be the Lima? Are there other sources of error? Contacts at Lima seem to be fine. Had thought of changing the carbon brushes first when I replaced the Lima If I do, can I expand it myself without much effort? Since I only have the 16 inch rims with all year round tires from the previous owner, I had anyway thought about changing to 2x 17 inch (1x summer tire set / 1x winter tire set). w. are there good alternatives? (I have had negative experiences with Zimmermann sports brake discs so far, so Zimmermann leaves for me)

On the weekend we noticed that the blue on the Volvo emblem on the radiator grill has completely peeled off/broken off…. How can something like this come after 3 years?? Too much salt? Scattered frozen??? Have asked for a new one at my time on culanz/guarantee/advertising will(whatever) that can not want a good company to apply for the company name SO?? Hello, today I had my fuel filter changed (V50 2.0D/62000km) (at a Bosch workshop, is closer than the next Volvo dealer). I didn’t think anything bad about it, is a simple work for the mechanics! Additive tank we also wanted to fill up but shortly after the Volvo mechanic scared the Eloy came additive out of the overflow hose.After 50.00 0km since the last replenishment?? How can this be? Pump has been controlled and has also given a “surrender” sign of life! DDS and hoses are only 50,000km old. Only the code p2458 (reg. duration) is deposited from time to time. I always try to close an active reg. and therefore always take further kilometers in purchase. As good as possible. Volvo says all this is supposed to be i.O although the full tank does not seem plausible. DPF is also good in juice.Ke In exchange. Would be even more beautiful, after only 50,000km. Only why does the tank content not get less and why does the DPF regenerate so often? I guess this is caused by a leak in the intake tract too much soot. Only where do I start with the search?
