Hello Moose rider, my C70 II 2.4i, switch, 150,000 km pulls strongly to the side and steering wheel moves accordingly. This happens with load changes (then to the right) at ground waves and after steering impact (e.g. AFTER completed lane change, it then pulls further strongly to the right, so that I have to steer against against). With the thick summer tires the problem is even stronger than with winter tires. I then had brake discs and documents change VA and HA (was due anyway) and in addition both crossbars with bushings, track bar with head left (track bar right according to free workshop still OK) incl. axle measurement. Nevertheless, the problem is still present. Tires are evenly run off, air pressure also OK. , I wonder if the workshop should not have replaced the track bar right. To the right it pulls the most noticeable…Or other reasons are possible?…I mean, what about a missing screw of a bearing to have read about that was the cause in a similar case, find the thread but no longer do you have ideas?????

Which engine Volvo V50
Moin, I’m slowly looking for a new car. Since I’m driving Saab now, I’d like to continue driving a Swedes. My choice has fallen on the V50, seems to be a solid vehicle. I just don’t know which engine to use. In any case, it should be a gasoline engine. I’ve read a lot here… it seems that there are hardly any problems with the petrol engines. I’ve driven the 1.8 before, was not a rocket now, but would be enough for me. The 2.4 with 140hp? I read that it is very lame. How would you compare it to the 1.8? Is the 1.6 much slower than the 1.8? Ride on the highway mostly 130-140, let the car roll rather. For tips I would be very grateful.

Fan from the air conditioner does not work (normal?)
Hello, Does the fan, which is sitting in the engine room, only work at certain outside temperatures or from a certain degree of adjustment of the system (have to 21 degrees) ? The click clack noise, which comes from the compressor every few seconds, is clearly to be heard, cooled is also quite ok, only the propeller apparently does not want. An air conditioner maintenance I had only 3 weeks ago (taken no faults) . If it had already occurred to me then, I would have asked in the workshop for it. Volvo only since December 2015. C30 – 2011 1.6D D2(114PS) Warning engine system maintenance required,
hi leute! sind ner Woche ich den Volvo und he shows me 2 times this error message: he felt normal performance, my questions: a) I have read something of additive sharpening, but that has only the 109hp engine not the D2 or? b) he got an inspection (oil and filter change) at handover, he would have to get (he has 95,000km) another special (planned engine maintenance), so something like the additives or: c) it can be related to the DPF regeneration, I f ahre all 2 days 65 km autobahn hin and 65 km retour, mostly tempomat 115km/h, should I drive a little more / faster because of “freeburning”? thank you for your opinions (Volvo Hanedler 1 on the phone was somehow not so helpful, he could hardly think into the Theam, and read out error code brings there even nothing => will turn me to another still) thank you and a nice weekend to all

Regular timing belt change – expected costs?
Hello municipality, my beloved C70 D3 (150 hp) is now 10 years old and according to the maintenance plan, the timing belt change is within the scope of “however” maintenance. Can someone give me a house number in Euro, which awaits me if I have this done at my Volvo contract workshop? I am just thinking about whether I can delay the change for another year, because I actually imagine that I have been careful with the engine. (no speed orgies, just relaxed weeks) dfahren – running performance at the moment 108 TKM ) On the other hand, I know that material fatigue is quite normal. I would rule out arguments like “reselling value” – the car is written off for me and I just keep driving it. I just wanted to hear your opinion whether the 10 years are rather overcautious, or whether you should give it to the car. Greetings, Cesevenzig

Volvo v50 stability control maintenance required – reduced engine power
Hello. Dwindle slowly on my Volvo v50 1.6 Diesel BJ 11/2009 80 Kw. After several workshop visits and numerous parts exchange like e.g. turbochargers incl. cables, Dpf, differential pressure sensor incl. cables, alternator, throttle valve, charging pressure sensor, pressure converter as well as the AGR valve. Now again come the errors: exhaust gas return system – exhaust gas pressure too low differential pressure sensor soot particle filter – function faulty charging pressure sensor – signal too low soot particle filter – value unpl ausbile It should be noted that these errors occur sporadically, it seems to me that I am running full throttle or on the mountain roads – conclusion stability control maintenance required – reduced engine power After restart the car runs back to normal. Often 1000 km then only 20 km until the fault or the faults come back and the car enters the emergency run? Can this possibly be due to a cable break or a voltage error from the cable to the differential pressure sensor? o has 190000 km on the speedometer and the service is all done regularly or the additive is filled up. The Dpf and the Turbo is from Polar Parts and the other parts of Skandix. Would be pleased to answer any answers. If there are other threads please link. Thank you in advance.

Timing belt, control chain with V50 2.0 D
Hello, since I have not found an exhaustive answer anywhere… with the vehicle it is a Volvo V50 2.0D, 136hp – so a PSA D4204T, EZ 2004 with now just over 220.000km… to the timing belt -interval according to service booklet 240.000km or 10 years… of course incl. tensioning roller, turning roller and WaPu- is all clear. But what does it look like with the control chain… in the service booklet I found nothing at all. Therefore, someone knows a question, whether this also g What does Volvo say, or is there any corresponding instructions in the Vida (unfortunately not available to me)? I have already taken a look at the control chain… as far as I can judge, almost no signs of wear can be detected on the chain itself… I was able to use a new chain as a comparison object, a length cannot be faked and also the game in the chain, the chain links is completely identical. I have removed the tensioner… on the slide rail are minimal traces of abrasion… therefore I will in any case renew the tensioner with the upper slide rail -would probably not be necessary, but there are only 3 screws. Actually I wanted to change the chain incl. slide rails together with the timing belt, however, I am now thinking about whether the extra effort makes sense at all… above all because the valve cover is owntliczh and it is already a proper attachment wall means until the camshafts are free – keyword high pressure pump, vacuum pump, seal valve lid. However, the injectors are already dismantled… is quite good, if there is some cleaning and a set of new copper rings (sealings) comes in.

Again a purchase advice
Hello dear friends of good taste, I have been looking for a suitable car for 2-3 months now and have decided as an individualist for a V50. I drive about 20tkm a year, so it is supposed to be a diesel. I have already read a lot here and can also read really good and much information. I had actually already found my Volvo, from the purchase only scared me that the dealer could not tell me if the DPF was exchanged. Servicehe With 164tkm, I was at too much risk for the non-negotiable price. I hope I didn’t make a mistake, how is the general mood about it?` Now I have found a new candidate and would be pleased to hear about the offer: -EZ 06/2005 -193,735 km -Diesel -80 kW (109 hp) -12 months HU -small dealer Price: 4700€http://suche.mobile.de/…/209 802217.html Volvo V50 1.6D DPF Kinetic -EZ 10/2005 -181,000 km -Diesel -80 kW (109 hp) -HU new -Particle filter changed Purchase price: 5,950 EURhttp://suche.mobile.de/…/199937267.html Volvo V50 2.0D Momentum -EZ 06/2004 -187,000 km -Diesel -100 kW (136 hp) Purchase price: 5,950 EURhttp://suche.mobile.de/…/199936288.html I would be very happy if you could help me and look at the offers and maybe tell me something that gives you concerns or what you might want to know. As you can see, my budget is at a maximum of 600€. I’m not disturbed by the fact that the interior is no longer top-notch and that one or the other scratch is in my head. Technically, however, I want to have a good car and really in the frame. P.S.: I don’t come from Bremerhaven, strangely enough, I find the only usable offers there at the moment. I live about 50 km away.
