Dear community, to the history: – about 1.5 years ago increased consumption recorded (about 7L/100 km) – about 1 year ago the engine goes into emergency run – thereafter DPF changed, additively changed, air hose from turbo to air filter box renewed – shortly afterwards air filter and fuel filter changed – turbocharger with a mirror looks at possible damage. Unfortunately nothing striking found. Currently the moose finally consumes only about 5.5 L/100 km, but: – it reaches a max. speedy 160 km/h in 5th gear and also in other gears it rotates up to max. approx. 3500 rpm – after the clutch is kicked and the speed drops, especially between the 1st and 2nd gear, funny air turbulence noises come from the engine compartment, as if the pressure removed by the turbocharger could not find a way out – errors were read several times by Volvo Werkstatt but found nothing Did you find an idea which caused the reduced power and the noises vehicle data: EZ 11/2007, MJ2008 1.6D, 109 hp, km-Stand: 232000 km

Hello, I’m going to go for Volvo test driving tomorrow and wanted to ask what you should be careful about. ZR has been changed to Turbo or DPF no indication. Check booklet has been run, gets a new inspection and TÜV/AU new when selling. He has a great equipment (momentum) and a good course (6500). Nevertheless, I have respect for any repairs, such as DPF or Turbo. 12 months warranty are included, but nevertheless. Visually he looks great inside and outside. 2 previous owners. What surprised me when I was in possession (the first time in a V50) is the plug, which is sitting in the driver’s footroom on the left. I noticed when I wanted to open the bonnet. But where the 850 has the lever, it is not on the V50. So what should this plug be there? It was also so strangely open…and where can you open the bonnet. I also saw who was the dealer who did all the inspections from the beginning until the last one. I will try , to contact them to learn details from the history. Hello dear forum, My alternator in the V50 T5 2008 makes very annoying noises/vibrations. Already for a long time, but now acute. I want to exchange them and would like to know. 1. How is the belt tensioned. Is there a pulley? 2. Does someone have a part number? On the alternator is a paper, however, the completely futile. Belts and if there is pulley I would also exchange. Hello dear community have already read a few things in the search function but somehow I didn’t get smarter.. it’s about the following: have a Volvo V50 2.0 Diesel, JG 2010 clutch set, two-mass swing wheel, encoder and taker cylinder (located in the gearbox) I completely changed 1 week everything went well, but then the clutch pedal disappeared down and gears didn’t go in.. again aired out, 20 min it was good, then again as before.. to me someone still told, since ss you have to air this model “specially”. I am myself a mechanic and have a ventilator, which should not be the case.. would be happy if someone could help me here, am in despair thanks already in advance.

Hello everyone I have a V50 D5 R-Design Automat 132KW Motor D5244T13 with 159 000 km where the left front wheel bearing is defective (I think the grinding noise is there for straight driving, in the right curves this almost disappears) also means my Mech. Now I am just asked which bearing/article is the right one? I also wonder why Volvo has a bearing with 159 000 km? the old V40 had 330 000 km without damage. Hi there, I’ve only driven BMW so far and my girlfriend and I are thinking of adding a V50. It’s absolutely a diesel model. I’m interested in the 1.6D (109ps) and 2.0D (136ps). I’ve already read a lot, but I still don’t get that smart. Some report that the 1.6 (especially the first) should be more vulnerable. What exactly is more vulnerable to the engine? What are the flaws in these engines and what should you pay special attention to? eide motors from Peugeot ? and both motors timing belts? What are the weaknesses of the model V50 in general? Hello everyone. I’m recently owner of a beautiful Volvo C70 T5 Built 2011. It’s a US import. I have a question about the high performance sound system. I’ve read that this one does not have a center speaker, as it only exists in the premium system. However, I seem to have a speaker in the front panel (see picture). Or is there something completely different underneath?? Second question. I don’t have a subwoofer behind the rear seat. Now I have to get everything and take it into account so that I can connect the original ones of Volvo? Is the current power amplifier enough or does one still have to be switched between the current and the power amplifiers on the subwoofers? Thank you in advance for your answers. LG

My c30 is kind of funny I find the summer tires are however also totally at the end When starting it already pulls slightly to the right and it pulls itself into every driving groove. One notices with fast driving way nothing but with slow driving. I have the feeling I notice on the steering wheel every track groove Bzw bumps. The tires at the front are also different. The left has run relatively evenly. The right is one side blank. The tires are from January 07
