But now the following has happened 3 times when starting: The information sign lights up, at the same time with the DSTC sign and the message “DSTC temporarily not available”. If I drive two meters, all lamps go off and then the rest of the journey no longer go on. In the on-board computer then also The problem did not always occur at every start, but irregularly. I have already checked in the application manual and read there that this message says that the DSTC is switched off because of too high brake temperature. However, this cannot be true with me, since the warning lights have been applied after a service life of 12 hours. I am now of course worried that there is something defective and I either have to plug in some real coal again, Or what’s worse is that the DSTC fails at the worst moment and I end up in the ditch. I understandably have little desire for both of them. And as satisfied as I am, so much I lack the opportunity to continue to use my meanwhile beloved Spotify. I spent almost the whole weekend I can’t tell you which entertainment system I have in it. The only thing I know is that I don’t have an AUX socket behind the waterfall or in the armrest. On the radio, too, the button is labeled with CD instead of MODE. Now there seems to be different ways to connect external peripherals or to put them into operation. One of them is a guide on how to work on the internet. The circuit board of the radio can solder an AUX socket directly. I would also like to do that, but unfortunately this is not complete, because the pictures are missing. And the author CROSSIE seems to have been active in a forum for the last time in 2014. Hello all, my V50 2.0D, year 06 212,000 km has a small repair (both front wheel bearings are due, Russian particle filters and new brake discs and I also need them) in front of you! I heard that the Ford Focus is identical, in terms of wheel bearings. Are these cheaper than with our FRIENDLY!!??? Am not sooooo liquid at the moment. Had actually decided for a chic Volvo V50, because it is very solid and reliable. Ohso, have a few tons cheap 30/30 is enough for a slightly more sporty look? Have a problem that I have not found here yet. My Navi has always worked 1A (even though I have rarely used it). Now the whole Navi display turns into a funny pink tone for “longer” operation (about 30 min), so it gets such a “stick”. It’s pretty clear to see. Otherwise everything works quite normal. If I turn it off and on again everything is fine again…. A few minutes later the same Schausp again iel.. So if it was the display the error would have to occur permanently, or ?! software ?? Have not updated it yet… Has anyone already experienced similar ?? Would have liked to have an opinion before I open up with Volvo, something is told to me and the whole thing only suddenly becomes super expensive…

Servus Volvo owner, I’m looking for my first car right now. In my short selection there were from the beginning the BMW E46, Audi A4 and just a Volvo S40. The Volvo has always addressed me the most – because on the one hand it is rarer and on the other hand it seems somehow more solid for me than the other two cars. Now since today a Volvo advertises very close to my idea. BUT: According to the owner, the High Performance Sound System is installed. Woran can’t see what the difference should be on the pictures. Besides, the big problem with the S40 is the radio… other radio is not possible as far as I know, is it? What is there for alternative ways to connect the smartphone to the system? Most important to me here would be AUX, everything else would not be important even if USB was e.g. nice to have. In addition, the question arises to me like the HP sound system in general. I like to listen to a lot of music, also because I am a hobby drummer. So I hear a lot of different music styles and sometimes I like it with proper bass, can the HP system offer something? Now generally to my question, what can one say about the S40? Is the 2.4 engine recommended? Rather sporty or rather more comfortable?
