    Hello, I’m thinking of getting a Volvo V40. Should my first (own) car be, since I’m a student money also plays a role. I saw that there are quite well equipped V40s (climate, cruise control, leather) starting from 1000€, but with relatively high running speeds ~180,000km+. Is it nevertheless recommended, if these models are properly maintained? Because of control (and consumption) I would prefer one of the smaller engines (1,8L 122hp). Or are the 2.0l engines more robust? Are around 8-10l consumption realistic? Is the maintenance too expensive? Or is it worth it to get a V70? Budget is about 2500, too.
