Hello, from the very beginning I play with the idea to darken the windows from B-pillar. I know 3 possible systems. 1. Volvo grid inserts for side and rear window Advantage: Detachable in winter Disadvantage: The rear windows can no longer be opened, or only at low speed. 2. Solaplexus solution http://www.solarplexius.de/ same advantages and disadvantages as solution 1 3. In the specialized shop disadvantage: Can not be foiled in winter Advantage: The rear windows can be used and I can choose the tint intensity. But now the questions about the 3rd solution. Can one really open and close the rear windows without any restrictions, or is there a risk that the foil will remain hanging or even tearing? What costs do I have to calculate for a folation from the B pillar? Can anyone recommend me a dealer in the Aachen or Duisburg region?

Wishlist for Facelift
Right, it’s Christmas and then it’s supposed to be Facelift time… Quickly the wishes posted again: the 8-speed automatic from ZF – you don’t have to develop yourself, just shop (even Landrover does it). So Volvo, no excuses, finally offer premium and not only charge. Small things – reasonable instruments (like V 40), roof railing in aluminum against extra price, 2 blue varnishes less, but a real silver grey and retroolive green, roof sky in black, Verz on brown leather with beige (hahaha) instrument panel, D4 engine power at the top-of-the-line XC 70 raise to the level of the entry-level model V 40 (I pay more for 14 hp less), rear view straighten with light band as before… does anyone know anything else? Oh yes, please leave everything else so, do not use pseudo-sporty chassis and lock out the controllers. Because everything else is top. Finally, spare me with the 4 equipment lines. celift is tensioned.

V60 Navi new route? (TMC)
Hello! From the Navi of my V50 I am used to the TMC messages being opened directly. Do I really have to pay attention to this TMC warning sign with the V60 Navi and find out the appropriate warning message or control it on the map? With my V50 the TMC message was opened directly as I said and I could decide if I want to change the route accordingly. Is this function missing or can I activate it somewhere? Greeting

would like to buy a V70, only which one?
We are currently driving a Passat 3c 2.0 TDI with DSG, but actually a nice car with many, many flaws and annoyances. One could also say that I have the “snout” of the passat now, I will miss the DSG – just wonderful!!! So, now back to the topic, we are looking for a new (used) reliable car and there we have landed at Volvo. The XC 60 is nice, but not yet paid. High sitting is awesome, but since the money is missing it should probably be a V70 (V50 is too small). What does it look like to the more moderate diesel engines, there were for a long time only the 2.4 D than 5 cylinders and they are like the gasoline with proper care almost indestructible. Does this also apply to the new machines? I don’t need 150 or more hp, but rather leather and nice interiour. S60 5 d 215 ps
hello, a change of factory is imminent. kammt vom 125 kw tdi pd. bin am sehen durchschauen: bmw 184 ps (authentically quite neat in the interior) exeo 170 ps (cr) (plastik/audi 8e mixed = still goes) golf/a3 at the time 150 ps max. (pure plastic in the new models) sat in volvo s 60 only (center console with the attached display habitation thing?) would like to stay at 170 ps and more volvo offers 5 zyl and 215 ps. from the data sheet as far as ok. have so little the “acceleration worry” at “you tube” 215 ps mmmhhh?? has not yet been tested, has already 120 kg more than the audio a4. real alternative of the s 60?, especially since I drive longer distances (but then also speedily) the German manufacturers make stop m.e. real back steps in matters interior equipment. even in superteuren a4, a5, a6 just plastic just drive such a 5 yl.? greetings

XC60 DRIVe tested during driving safety training
Greetings to the Republic, today I was allowed to move my XC60 DRIVe MJ10 on a training site of the ADAC. Here a first short conclusion – pictures or Vids follow if necessary later, because I was sitting at the wheel – my acquaintance took the pictures. 1. Test circular track: With ESP the car was not out of track, regulation was uncompromising. Without ESP already more fun, but it felt as if the system still intervened, the rear never came 2. full braking from 30 – 50 – 70 k m/h with evasiveness and driving through the alley: If you really “run” (the coach called it brake stroke) you have the feeling that an anchor is thrown, no pylons have moved around – braking distances were consistently shorter than with my colleagues, car was easy for me to handle as an untrained full brake. 3. “shake plate” – oversteering with water obstacle – I would not have imagined so quickly learnable. I have done the exercise 7 times – have never done this before – and I could not e with two steering movements the car very well intercept. The higher weight ggü. the other was compensated by a stronger adjustment of the plate. I am totally enthusiastic – other cars in the group had more problems (new CIVIC, C-Class, Fiesta,Fusion, Mazda 3) Conclusion: A safe car – with little consumption (currently 6.1 l) – much power – and Nordic chic Beautiful WE NRRK

XC60 MY2010 ordered, getting MY2011 – Experiences
Hello guys, I ordered an XC60 D5 AWD Summum Aut. in February (MY2010) and now (10.6.2010) got a MY2011, consequence: – Fog headlights are missing (no longer available) – Seat heating Front seats are missing (acc. to dealer was forgotten that this was still in Summum at MY2010, but now in MY2011 special equipment) as counter offer the dealer offered a price reduction of 700 EUR. How much do you estimate the chances if I insist on retrofitting the seat heating (rechtli It should not be a problem I think, technically however?) Lt. dealer is the motor in MY2011 from the consumption more gentle (but used city/country/highway on the first 1000km also 9,4l/100 km, which I don’t find particularly gentle). Further problems: – Parking aid no longer goes after 500 km (beeps last if you turn it on with “alleged” obstacle left front – Airbag control light – phonebook transfer from mobile phone nciht takes all contacts into the XC60 phonebook, there is here a n Limit? now but to the positive: – the rest is top – driving characteristics (with 4C-fahrwerk) sensational, very lively – comfort top – assistance systems excellent, especially the adaptive cruise control is a dream and works perfectly (even in curves) – space in the trunk extremely good (had a BMW X3 before, the XC60 beats by length) Freu mich auf Ihrer Feedback lG Hannes
