  • Feedback on V60 D3 with 136 hp

Hello together I’m new here in the forum, although I’ve been on the road with Volvo since 2008. However, my V 50 D 2.0 has a motor damage and is already ready to be transported to Poland. Now I’m about to decide for a 2 year old V 60 D3 with 136 hp and 22500km on the clock. With regard to the above mentioned engine damage I’m now a burnt child. However, you can’t compare the two engines. The engine in the V 60 is a 5 cylinder and probably a Volvo own twick. The car has been driven by the lady of the service manager, EZ was 12/2013, so has already the facelift behind it and is well equipped with the momentum line + bussiness and winter package for my purposes. Is the 136 hp engine a “pulled” variant of the D3 163 hp or is it rather the other way around? Would I be pleased about your opinion. nice WE greeting Frank

  • VOLVO XC60 DRIVe V-Max 170!?

Hello, I drive a Volvo XC60 DRIVe with 163 hp. It was a bit of a hurry today and has to give gas on the motorway. I noticed that the car only took 170 km or it took years to reach the 180. According to Volvo, it would have to drive 200. My car is clean! Every inspection was done at Volvo. Error memory is empty. Particle filter is OK (with a running power of 70,000km and 80% autobahn rides it would have to be free). You know the problem with other mod Greeting PS: I have the car 2 years and yes it was the first time that I am at risk with it so quickly. My driving style is rather quiet (130 kmh in average).

  • Recommendation Child seat sought

Moin, we wanted to ask the practice community. Our little one is now 6.5 months old. At the beginning of the year she has already reached the 9 kg and exceeded the 70 cm mark. Purely from the age and weight she is still well kept in her current seat or shell (reversely directed). However, the little one, which is already quite big, has the problem that she can no longer stretch the legs. She must constantly angle the legs during the ride because she is against the back Do we already have the opportunity to take the next seat level? Actually, she is too young after what we have found and said so far. Maybe you can inform us something. At the moment, the little girl just doesn’t feel well when driving a car, but I can understand more than with her current seat. Hope with your help in the moose she can soon feel as comfortable again as the parents. πŸ˜‰ Greeting Thomas

  • Lowering the exterior mirror in reverse?

Hello everybody, did any of you order the lowering of the exterior mirrors on reverse? Mine had said that the XC60 would have this, if one ordered electrically foldable exterior mirrors. Unfortunately, if I drive backwards, then the exterior mirror does not lower. If I had it, then the exterior mirrors would have to sink automatically when driving backwards, or do I have to press any buttons or adjust something beforehand??? Thank you Best regards domi

  • V70 2.4 AWD Opinion on the offer?

Moin! Now that I need something bigger for family and job than my Scirocco and I have always liked the V70, I looked around and came across it. I am very inexperienced in the used car purchase and accordingly careful. https://m.mobile.de/…/414736482.html?… Apparently check booklet maintained, 2 previous owners and still little running, which makes me stubborn. Could not look at it yet. Is there opinions about the engine and AWD regarding durability. MJ is one of the last and should be relatively mature? Unfortunately no Xenon, I would miss that. Thanks already in advance for answers! Lg!

  • V60 bj 2010 Questions about the annual assistance maintenance service

Good morning I’m new here, although I have been passively reading in the forum for years. Thank you for the many useful information My elk has now ridden almost 260’000 km, continues to run impeccable and I am very satisfied with the car. In the whole years I actually only had costs for the annual service intervals, timing belts according to specification and wear parts. In addition, a new climate compressor had to come here and the rear longitudinal handlebars are now due. I have another concern, which is why I signed up for the forum because I could not find any information about it. By the end of 24, I had all the repairs carried out in my Volvo workshop. On site I have a free workshop where a former Volvo mechanic also works. There I now had the brakes made. I would also have the longitudinal handlebars renewed there. In April, the Volvo service will be available again and I would like to hear more information about it. he assistance. Does someone know what to do to get the assistance, or what can I do in a free workshop? (e.g., TΓΌv, oil change, air and pollen filters are also possible?)

  • TIP: OBD2 MiniBluetooth Interface for our Volvos!

servus… yesterday my OBD2-Bluetooth-Scanner arrived to read the data and the error memory of my volvo. this here:http://www.ebay.de/itm/16105950819?… for small money a really cool part…I had already bought one before, which I would not recommend, because he had not even recognized my volvo. THIS interface even reads out the VEHICLE NUMMER automatically and recognizes that it is in a volvo S80, 2.5T. also the data are very reliable via TORQUE I just came back from a test drive. I find it impressive that you get even announced, IF the engine has reached ESTABLISHING STEMPERATURE! also the voltage of the LIMA, the PS at the mature, cool water temperature, INNER AREA TEMPERATURE, catalyser temperature, Cylinder Misfire Count, and felt 100 sensor values more, are read out during the ride and can be recorded via TORQUE. also error codes can be read out and deleted if necessary. the connection and the recognition works smoothly. the included CD with additional software you don’t really need. who is looking for something to check your car and get to know it better, is with this interface quite well served, I think. for the price of 11,50€ an acceptable compromise and certainly not wrong! I have put this article in here, because you do not fall here for the price-performance ratio sometimes, if you connect it. until now I am everyone if enthusiastic! and that, even though the product comes from HESSEN!

  • Price question about the original Volvo floor mats,

Hello, sit here with my partner and philosophize with her about whether you can make the floor mats in the washing machine. Is it possible or not.. Opinions and experiences asked.. πŸ˜‰

  • FZ one week unused, battery quite unloaded

Hello I drive only once a week, 2x almost 20km. otherwise the V70 D2 (bj 2015 model 2016, approx. 150tkm) is standing unfinished. the battery seems to be quite unloaded after a week, because with a stop on the road (and also at the stop back home again) the motor continues (S/S is on). the battery voltage (clamped) is after a week about 12.3V. is the battery down? or pulls the FZ so much current while standing around? and makes it a difference whether the FZ from is closed or not? (at the last time I had charged the battery once when I came home. so it was full a week before.) speaking of, I haven’t found the second battery for the S/S yet. anyway, it’s not there, as illustrated in the operating manual. did the 2016 model no longer have a second battery? I would jam the battery for a week, but that’s all that’s necessary because you should do that on the minus terminal β€” and it’s under the rear coveru ng. VG

  • Xenon burners change at the V60 – but how?

Moin together, I thought that I could easily change the xenon lamps at my V60 Ocean Race on weekends “just” (the old ones hardly bring light), but far missing. I did not even find a starting point, how to get to the headlights, without dismantling half the front apron or something similarly complicated. Maybe I am quite wrong and there is a simple solution that I just don’t see. I added two pictures so that you can see, w I’m really grateful for ideas on how to change the lamps without a visit to the friendly one. Greetings Hagber
