Hello, the Volvo V60 BJ 2015 from an acquaintance has problems with the start-stop automatic. This only works sporadically, despite usually longer rides. The Volvo dealer has tested the battery and alternator and now recommended to exchange both costs 1263€(!!!). So far there were no problems with the battery or alternator, apart from just start-stop. Until the saved fuel, at the cost is back in, the car can probably be 20J without start-stop Wei The following e-mail was added: “The vehicle battery should be replaced, capacity is no longer 100% given, therefore the start/stop system no longer works reliably. Furthermore, the charging voltage of the alternator is no longer in perfect condition, recommendation is to replace the alternator as discussed.” Test result: According to the criteria of the test, the generator function is not prescribed. moderate. End the test, replace the charge controller and then re-run the test from the front to see if the error has been fixed. If the charge controller has already been replaced and the test indicates an error in the generator function, select this alternative. Experience with V60 1 D6 Plug-in Hybrid
So now it’s time and I can report how the consumption of my V60 hybrid develops in the different operating conditions. Should anyone still drive a V60 hybrid I would be very grateful for various consumption data for comparison purposes. First trip yesterday in super weather (dry, sunshine and 4 degrees plus), city traffic with winter tires, daytime driving light, air conditioning and radio (corresponds to my previous normal driving mode in Tiguan). 37 km driving distance in mode Pure ,Verbra uch 9,3 kWh corresponds to a cost share of 1,67 € at 0.18 €/kW. This is not the actual consumption. This should have been at approx. 8 kW. Charging time at 16 amp connection 3 hours and 12 minutes. From the past I know from my own experience with Volvo C30 electrics and Opel Ampera that when charging the battery charge losses. These were here about 10-15%. I will soon, if I succeed in the system, drive the battery completely empty. According to Volvo, the hand of the well-known battery capacity of 11.2 kW should then be able to determine exactly the charge loss. I am already very excited about the consumption in hybrid mode and the pure diesel consumption in operation Save.

Question about the turbo-feeling of newbie
Moin. Never had diesel or turbo, so I’m asking a perhaps unusual question. In the test drive with the V70 2.4 D5, I had expected more pull, and above all a noticeableness of the turbo, but there was nothing. Question: Is that normal like this? Take a Saab 93-3 1.9 TDI short drive and Seat Leon 2.0 TDI, there was enough torque, and before all one clearly noticed when the turbo came. Therefore, I am maximum irritated at the test drive of the turbo completely not too And the two diesels that I was allowed to drive for a short time had only 150 hp, the V70 had 205… I read now that these are rather comfortable long-distance vehicles, and I miss the comparison, as previous petrol driver without turbo, but shouldn’t there be a certain “pull” used? At the vehicle one more thing is repaired, then I buy the, and I’m not sure if the turbo is broken or if it’s just like that with the cars…

A few questions about my “new” XC70
Hey, you guys, after having my “new” dream car in the underground garage for a few days now, I’d like to open a thread to hopefully get a few small questions that I haven’t been able to solve for myself. Maybe you have the desire and time to help. 1) If I’ve paired my iPhone via Bluetooth, I don’t see anywhere in the display reception or anything like that. Do I have to set this up somewhere? In the Volvo manual he says I have to go to the top right of the so-called Sta 2) Can someone explain to me the meaning and use of DAB for a short time? I know that it is radio digital and that the reception has to be better accordingly. But can I then receive stations throughout Germany even if I am in Hamburg or how far is that locally limited? What is the advantage for you and what do you use more? 3) How do you use the internet function via the mobile phone? is the gaming or has it for you we 4) Again to the phone via Bluetooth. In the manual it says that as soon as the phone is connected near the car is automatically. I could not find out yet. Do I do what is wrong or need the cell phone receive… I always start in the underground garage. So I think it was first….if I still remembered something I would write further. Many things were certainly discussed here before, but honestly, I find the search somewhat confusing . Greetings and Allen a beautiful Sunday!

Wetness in the doors
Hello and Moinsen! I have an XC60 D3 “Ocean Race” Bj.07.2015 with the following problem: It penetrates water in all four doors on the seals into the felts, settles there, drips on the panels and now in winter, freezes the doors completely. Unique way forward left and right not as drastic as in the rear! These doors are used extremely rarely and are completely wet and accordingly frozen! Everything treat the rubbers with relevant means, respectively dry wi One day of rainy weather (the car doesn’t even need to be moved!) and everything is wet again. If I hadn’t had the SH inside I wouldn’t get into the car in the morning sometimes I just can’t find that such a problem on the car of this price category! Although I otherwise love this car! It was my dream car! Did someone have the same problem here and can say a solution? Thank you in advance for any help!

Fuel consumption V70 III
My V70 D5, year 2012, used to buy, now 90000 km, inspires me with low fuel consumption. I have driven it for a quarter of a year, I drove 8136 km and filled a total of 428 l diesel. This is an average consumption of 5.3 l to 100 km. I drive 13 km daily to work (cityside traffic). A third of the total route was motorway. I am very pleased that you can move 1800 kg so fuel-saving. Greeting by Heinrich

Possibilities/Optimization Volvo xc60 BJ 2011
Hello dear community, I’ve been driving a Volvo xc 60 – D5 – 2.4 AWD with 205 hp since the latest. I don’t know about Volvos and have the following questions: – How can I find out which software I currently have? – Is it possible to update the software? If so, what does it cost about? – I’ve read that there are navigation software for free from Volvo? Is it possible for all models? – Spotify and Co? Conversion to Sensus Connected possible? Can you optimize anything else? I apologize to those who may be annoyed by such questions. I couldn’t find out anything in the search function. Thank you and thank you very much.

Purchase advice V60 T6 AWD
Hello together As well known I am currently driving a D5 XC60 from the MJ2010. Now I have seen my dream car in a free garage, a black V60 R-Design T AWD. The car is an MJ 2012 with a good 60000km. Driving assistance packet, security packet and winter packet. Price CHF 28000.- not yet negotiated. On the test drive I noticed a grinding brake and a jerking from the R to the D. The car was given Polestar and still has warranty until December. Unfortunately, no pictures, because the car is not on the Internet. What do you think about this offer and what do I have to pay attention to at the V60 and the T6? Greetings choega

Buy V60 I or V70 III used (Euro 6 Diesel)
Hello together, I would like to buy a new family car next year, which I will also use for the service. I am driving a V60 Twin Engine, but the leasing runs out in March and the rates afterwards will become more expensive. Budget so 10000-17000€ …. depending on what makes more sense. Should definitely be an automatic. Driving max. 10000- 15000km a year. Want to drive that then also until it falls apart. Should like to last 10 years… and there will also be a lot in the city b ewegt, that’s why I don’t mind if the car already has a lot of fun. What is the better car for you? Long-lived? With less quirks. Don’t want to go to the workshop because of every little thing. Would you rather pay for 10,000€ with more kilometers or more and for that a newer car? What do I have more to about 10 years of stopping time or more of? Examples that are online: V60 2015 with 133,000km for 13.800€ https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…1557e806-2a27-4206-a9b3-628091c289dc V70 2014 250,000km for 10,750€https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…d5bacc23-c71b-4927-85c3-8f9474ba00530 V70 2016 45,000km for 18.00€https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…5dfbcd61-7ebf-4179-9f57-269457d78f8a Thank you very much!
