Hello, hope someone can expertly advise me whether a V60 D6 is worth for me personally. I’m Volvo absolutely faithful and will stay it too. At the moment I drive the V70 D4 181 Ps (4cylinder VEA) EZ Nov 16 now 39TKM on average so combined with 5.8 liters. Since I’m a therapist and come daily to the 100 km. While 50% land and 50% inside. I’m not yet completely convinced of PIH technology. In the meantime, charging at the workplace does not go .. On my roof lies an 8 .5 KWP PV system. However, I’m rarely home to sunshine. In the home town there is free charging station of a power provider 10 min walk (if I’m going to park my car. Rather not!) Would that ever be allowed to stand there all night every day?! To the question what does the PIH consume in my driving profile if I’m traveling sparingly? What would you say. And how much km do you get in hybrid mode actually until only the diesel runs … or does it manage the car sic h to recharge again and again. In order to drive efficiently in the hybrid since the batteries are always fully charged. Or managed the car that also quite well by recuperation? What cost me a day compared to my current diesel. 0.25 € per KWh. (can any heat pump tariffs get, or actually need a:-) ? what interests me also and what I lack with the V70 is all-wheel drive. How well does the AWD of the V60 D6 work to slip a boat and get out again can I see the system similar to the Haldex? Can I go up to 150 KM/H that I already know is okay ….) The desired D6 is a used 22tkm and 2 years old this time.

Which xenon light source? (XC60 MJ 12)
Hello together, last night my first xenon light bulb burned through me at all. He then told me this morning that a new bulb should cost 108(!!!) Euro.Friendly with installation… After that I found it rather Now I informed myself and saw that the bulbs are much cheaper to get. After a short discussion with the workshop I was assured that I would buy something myself and then be used. Two new burners are then imm It is even cheaper than one from the workshop. I have read that you should use lamps from OSRAM in the meantime. With others there seems to be problems with the size. And that you can exchange the same two since the lamps probably age quite strongly and you will see a clear difference. Only I am unwise which I should take. OSRAM Xenarc Original (type 66140) seems to be what Volvo itself installs, but is somehow like 08/15, but 4 years guarantee ie. OSRAM Xenarc Cool Blue Intense (type 66140CBI) has a blue shimmer and according to the description “up to” 20% more light yield. But as I have seen this should make the whole in wet road, rain or fog rather negatively noticeable because a lot of light is swallowed. So then probably rather 20% less than more. OSRAM Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited (type 66140XNB) should deliver 70% more light and is probably the top model. Somewhere I had read that the light color not so to ll is supposed to be and together with the H9 main beam (what is this actually installed for, I thought this is Bi-Xenon?) rather irritating. OSRAM Xencarc Ultra Life (type 66140ULT) seems to be like the original, but should hold much longer and have 10 years warranty. I did not find any real information about this. Since I found rather no experiences of Volvo drivers (or even XC60ers) I wanted to ask here directly what you recommend or what it looks like with experiences. Personally, the “blue” will probably fall out, unless someone convinces me. Imagine that they will look quite “advanced” but outweigh the disadvantages. Currently, I actually tend to the Xenarc Original or the Long Life because I ALWAYS drive with light and am not sure if the (alleged) color difference in the Night Breaker doesn’t go on the cookie.

V70 1.6 DRIVe cylinder head gasket again?
Hello, I had the ZKD changed at our V70 1.6 DRIVe 2016 at Volvo, at approx. 170,000 KM, now at 220.000 KM the message “cooling water level low” comes regularly with longer motorway rides and around the balance tank it is moist. On the container is permanently overpressure, even if the car has cooled down and then pushes the level again over the Min mark when opening. Autowerkstatt has checked the cooling system.. “everything dense”.. also no CO2 measurable.. Before approx. one Half a year I had a massive wild damage (8,000 euros damage), in which also the complete cooler was replaced…. the problem with the cooling liquid then occurred 8 weeks after the repair on a longer highway ride at high speed. Free workshop suspects cylinder head seal. Is it conceivable that with a V70 after within 50.000 KM twice the cylinder head seal is defective? Is another damage still conceivable in connection with the wild damage? I’m grateful for your ideas.

Presentation of mobile phone holder
I was looking for a mobile phone holder for my moose, but I didn’t find anything. By chance, I came across holders that are mounted in the slot of the CD drive. The highlight is that you can still listen to the CD. The prerequisite is, of course, that there is already one in the shaft. The assembly is easy. I chose this model. I liked that the lateral holding brackets automatically close when the cell phone is inserted; no change of position. That’s what it looks like.

XC60 T5 VEA
Hello! Last week, after only 6 weeks delivery time, my new XC 60 T5 VEA with 8-speed GT arrived. Actually I wanted the T6, but is only available at the end of the year. Before I had an XC60 D5 AWD (230PS) 6-speed GT (MJ 12), which was however too loud to me. Therefore the T5 with laminated glass is a benefit! Super quiet and spontaneous, a 6-cylinder I do not miss. Consumption with the first tank filling 9.2 liters (board computer shows 9.3 liters). So similar to the D5. e after some time fall below 9 liters. So, who is looking for a quiet alternative to diesel, is right here. Pictures of course also available… Kalli

Question about the Volvo V70 D5
Hello in the round, currently I think about buying a Volvo V70 D5 (first registration – 2015 ) station wagon. I have already found some interesting offers on the net. Since I would like to do without certain equipment features I would like to have a question about retrofitting. All interesting offers so far where price / equipment and kilometers fit for me mostly lacks the “Totwinkel assistant ” this is personal already important to me. Can one buy this retrofit ? Since it could possibly become my first Volvo, and someone would still have hints or things to look out for in terms of the model, I am grateful for every tip.

Hello municipality, I’m thinking about getting a Volvo V60 D3. But it already has just over 150,000km on it. How long-lasting are these engines? First registration is 11/2010 Alternatively, I have a V50 2.0 150hp diesel in mind.

Rust!
Hello Forumsfreunde, I have an XC 60 Bj 2011. Due to a rust-colored track from the right front wheel to the split fender/passenger door I look at the wheelrails in front more closely today and I think a horse: about 10 cm above the thresholdrs rust in identical place the front fenders. M.E. not due to external damage by stone impact, but from the inside, the paint throws really popping scar-like bubbles. Now I have a 12-year guarantee against rusting, b fearful but discussions, whether it is one or not. What do you mean, is the case clear? Has someone experienced similar things already? 8 years! My Opel wasn’t that bad at the time, and my Volvos wasn’t that bad before.

Bosch wiper blade: Aerotwin for Volvo XC60 (BJ2014)
Hello, I am dissatisfied with the original Volvo wiper blades and would like to exchange them for Bosch Aerotwin. On the official homepage of Bosch there are no accessories for the vehicle XC60 D4 FWD (BJ2014). If you are looking for Volvo XC60 D4 AWD BJ2014, accessories are listed, including the Aerotwin wiper blade set. Are there really differences in the holder of the wiper blades or do not talk about other reasons, the Aerotwin wiper blades for the D4 AWD also on the XC 60 D4 FWD (BJ2014)? What experiences did you have with the Bosch Aerotwin?

XC60 – Thule or VOLVO? – Which roof rack and box?
Hello together, it had to mature for a long time, but now I am also convinced that I need a “mother-in-law sarge” on my moose. For a layman the decision making is rather difficult. I like the Thule Wingbar system purely optically. But also the VOLVO system looks nice, especially since it is probably made by Thule ( ?). I want a system that can take a Thule box (possibly the new one ), with approx. 300-350 liters. Later the system should also be compatible with Thule Fahrr Should I buy the expensive Thule Wingbar or original Volvo? If I change the car I would like to continue using the system with manageable costs. Concretely: P.S.: Found a few pictures that fit visually well.
