Hello dear Volvo Comunity, would like to buy me a new used one. The decision a lot on Volvo S60, because the car looks good, does not stand at every corner and you hear in large and not much negative. I come from Austria and there the selection is not so big when it comes to used S60. A copy that appeals to me is the S60 D3 summum, with 110,000km. 13.800Euro So the car is praised by the dealer: FIRST BESITZ SCHÖNER ZUTAND NO SMOKING VEHICLE GARAGEG EXPLANATORY PICKERL TO 2017 (MODEL 2012) AUSTRIAC VEHICLE (NO INPORT) SERVICE AT FIRMA VOLVO (FULL STANDARD) NEW SERVICE ****AUTOBAHN KM**** NO KRATZER & DELLEN UMTAUSCH + FINANCING WITHOUT PAYMENT POSSIBLE!!!! FOR INVESTIGATORS NOT APPLICABLE!!! NEEDS TERMINAL AGREEMENT!!!! ALSO APPLICABLE TO WEEKING!!! *** TO THREE YEARS GUARANTEE POSSIBLE -> BY PRICE*** *******!!! ITS NO E-MAILS!!!***** CAR Model: S60 D3 Summum**. FIRST SITTING.WY NEW** CAR Type: S60 D3 Summum**.ERSTER BESITZ.WIE NEW** Number of seats: 5 Exact colour designation: white Capacity: 1984 ccm My question to you is, what do I have to consider at 110,000km. When do I have to change the tooth rubbing, what does it look like with DPF, are there also frequent coupling problems with the D3? Also consider combing an S60 D2 drivE 2011 with 114hp and 103.000KM. Private sales, last service at 100,000KM and brakes made new at 11.800Euro What do I have to consider with this model, except r that it is different than the D3 is a PSA contour. I’ve already made a bit of a smart move, but would still be very grateful for tips from experienced Volvo drivers. Greetings from Vienna.

Navigation shows 45 km too much
Hi, my Navi has been showing more than 45 km of distance lately. I set up a destination that is, for example, 50 km away. The Navi then shows 95 km. It leads me to the destination reliably, but at the destination it does not say that I have reached the destination but wants to lead me somewhere with a rest of 45 km – so it does without saying “You have reached the destination” with some uncomprehensible route. If this error occurs it plays It doesn’t matter if I delete the target again and program it again – or enter another target, it remains there, it always displays 45 km too much. Almost you might think it is some intermediate destination entered, but that’s not the case. And besides, the Navi would have to say at least before continuing “You’ve reached your intermediate destination” What can that be? And another question: what is annoying to me is that the radio volume in navigation announcements is extremely high. Is it impossible to adjust this? – I don’t find anything there?

Cheap tuning at Ebay?
Good evening, soon my XC60 will be delivered. I decided for the slightly weaker diesel version, because I would not be willing to pay for a few PS more about 1.700 € more. Now I’m looking for a few ways to increase the performance … on the one hand there is Heico … but now I’ve come across a tuning for 89€ for + 40 PS + 65 NM at ebay. So every common sense says … DOESN’T GO … but did any of you have experiences with it? Thanks and Dear greeting, Garf

I say goodbye to the S60 2 forum
Dear community, I would like to say goodbye to the S60 II Forum, as I bought a new S60 3 this week (it is not yet there) I would like to thank you again for the many help and suggestions. I am not yet sure if I will hand over my seasoned 5 Ender Mj 2013 for 6000 Euro to the dealer. At the next TÜV in 2016 only the headlights have to be new at the front. We will surely see us again soon in the next forum. Have fun further!

Frame Standlight sits bomb-proof
Hello to the round, I have been trying for days without the least success to get the version of the stand light bulb out. The solution from the operating manual does not work. I have now concerns that with even stronger pull on the thin cables these tear off. In order not to have to pull on the cables, I also tried the use of a snapped needle tong on the frame. As written, the frame is glued in. Of course, I press the lock additionally to the side, just as it is shown in a Youtube video. Vehicle: XC 70 II 2009, Headlight type:ABL, Xenon with curved light. Does anyone have an idea here in the round of experienced people (except to drive to the friendly)? Thank you in advance.

wrong fuelled ?? petrol instead of diesel
Hello and good evening, I have created every prejudice according to my V70 III, 2.4 D of 2008 once undiscut fuel, so super to let it thrive. Ca 15l, range on arrival were still 100km without the uncounted volume. A few facts: 1. it was not left on, despite blonde existence this part of the brain still worked, 2. ignite also left out Well my questions: If possible I would like to remove the fuel / leave it without the car to be dragged into the workshop. Deduction of the super has been clarified. 1. does the Volvo have a filter on the supply line to the tank? If I get out what, how many liters remained in the tank? 2. You can’t get to the petrol pump from above over the rear seats to the tank or? 3. the fuelilter from the front is sitting right under the back bench? Could I pump from there? Or do you keep the bridge of the pump the most meaningful and a pumping off the engine compartment? It seemed to me more logical to do everything as short as possible behind the tank manually in order not to replace / clean too much or is this a fallacy?? Now many thanks! PS: wouldn’t have been so expensive it would have struck me first with the full tank.

V70 is forever at the dealer’s…
Good day together, since I like this V70 I have been watching this offer since January, as long as the ad is already online. The price has been reduced several times. Berlin is unfortunately not around the corner, otherwise I would have gone there long ago. So the question? What could be the catch? The Geartronic? The engine as such?https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…05908afc-6053-485e-91ce-b8bcbb8b61e0 Thanks for information and input!

Parking help sluggish – Update?
Since Sensus 3 the APC is known to be extremely sluggish. Wants to mean, if you drive away from an obstacle, especially the front still beeps several seconds continuously (the optical shows right now). Since the problem with Sensus 2 did not exist, I ask myself: will this be fixed at some point with an update? always new updates come and in this respect absolutely nothing does! is that perhaps not possible with VCC? – can not actually be, right?

V-belt torn – Power steering away – V70
Tach. When driving off at the traffic light suddenly the power steering failed. At the first moment I thought that the steering was completely rigid, so difficult to steer. After the crossing to the right drove and looked. The car didn’t complain, no message in the display or the like. I checked the level of the power steering in a reflex, but everything was normal. Briefly thought and then the thick ship trembled home, was just like that. (At some point the car then noticed, d if the battery is no longer charged, then there was a message in the display…) There was a more thorough look into the engine room, where these flashy wheels jumped into my eye, where I could have sworn that there was a belt. I found the thing then actually a bit further on the road back. Now the real question: the strap looks miserable in full length (see pictures). I assume that a cover around in this form is rather sh 8 months ago and 11tkm was the vehicle in the contract workshop for customer service. Didn’t they have to notice this? Isn’t the visual inspection of this component part part of the performance? It was an original Volvo part. (I unfortunately didn’t have a hisory about the belt, since I bought the car only last summer.) Greetings, N.

Kaufberatung S60 D5 215PS Built 2013
Hello Volvo fans, unfortunately my old Volvo S60 2,4D year 2003 just after more than 300,000km or a repair in case of oil loss over the crankshaft immersing does not seem really meaningful anymore. Therefore I intend to buy a new used one and my favorite is an S60 D5 with 215 HP EZ 11/2013, stitch stitching, accident-free, just over 70,000km from a dealer with dealer warranty (not Volvo Select). Question 1: Have found here some problems with hair cracks. between cylinder heads or coolant loss at the D5. Since it happened to me with my second car SLK to catch a serial error (which was at least centrally regulated at a total cost of 6.000€…) I have become more careful and would like to ask you if there are any common problems with the D5 from this series? Question 2: I found an indication of 4.7l in the combined consumption – does this roughly correspond to the reality? Thank you for your answers!
