Hello dear people, at the moment I have a problem with my Volvo V60 BJ 2010 D3. Namely the Park Distance Control (PDC) at the rear no longer works. At the speedometer we showed me the message “PDC maintenance required”. At the Volvo dealer, as well as with own OBD diagnostic device, tried to read out the error memory of the PDC ECU. Unfortunately without success, because this is not reachable. Is there of you who has had such a mistake already and you think that my control unit t is over or rather the power supply will be faulty? Thank you and best regards, Sebastian

Purchase advice V70 D2
Hello, is the 120 hp D2 enough in the current V70? I drove it over land, and found it sufficient, though not impressive. I found the car more leg-pressive 🙂 Is an old love, since I had loved it 20 years ago. I mostly drive the highway, like relaxed. Usually enough for me 140, but sometimes it can also be 170. Is this possible with the car, without it seems tormented? Does it work with the engine as a good travel car? Is there with the current Generati on Horse feet you should know?

V70 D2 Dynamic Edition
Hello! So far I have been on the road here in various forums, now it has turned out that I’m looking for a new or almost new car, well, here in Norway. Favourites are so far V 70,Honda CRV and MB E-Class, my wife tends to be more like the Honda, but should not be the topic here now. Have I found a Volvo in the city now http://m.finn.no/…/ad.html?… Now the question arises with me, he looks good, only the 120 hp in the heavy car do wa I drive 80% of the city traffic, in the summer then a turbine D, only the thing should come over the mountains, I am not a speed driver, however I am cured of a few hp, have a class with 82 hp, only push goes faster, my C class which now has 122 hp diesel, it also goes quite well, only it has less weight. Besides I also found another V 70, which both have the heating favored by me, only the second one has really Damp f under the hood http://m.finn.no/…/ad.html?… Which one is better than for my use, they are almost the same, except that the sum has a lot more.

Polestar T6?
Hello everyone, I am playing with the idea of having our V70 T6 MY 2008 optimized by Polestar. At the moment I drive a software from MTE Sweden, but the ubiquitous procedure in the workshop, when it comes to updates, is annoying. Interestingly, the 285 hp model has a larger torque range than the 304 hp, namely 480 Nm between 2750-4250 rpm to 480 Nm between 3000-3600 rpm on the 304 hp series model. Who can report about Polestar at the T6, ideally for the 285 hp Model? Thanks & Greetings

RTI Navigation DVD for XC70, 2010
Hello everyone, on demand with confidence, my father received the information that for his XC70 RTI navigation there would only be updates until 2017 (map material probably at the end of 2016). After that there would be no further updates. Also other options the Volvo dealer did not want to mention. Now the question arises whether one or the other has already found a solution here, how one can use the built-in Navi also meaningfully the next decade still (because for so long the moose should still hold). . a converter from OSM to the format used by Volvo, so that you can keep the software, but keep the cards up to date? How is the DVD drive connected to the Navi computer (i.e. can it be replaced by e.g. a USB stick)? Is there a replacement for the whole Navi computer, which can then use more up-to-date material, etc etc. And before there come again stupid comments: No, I have no access to the vehicle. So please no answer “Look into the vehicle and screw everything up”. Thank you very much

TÜV Report 2020 V60 does not perform well – your experience?
Hello together. Because of family growth I am close to buying a used V60 petrol tank (Bj 2015/16) and for safety I took a look into the TÜV report again.. and was unpleasantly surprised: The V60, no matter how old, almost never makes it into the green area. Now I am completely unsure whether the V60 is really a good idea and it should possibly become e.g. an A4. I absolutely want a car that is solid and does not cause any problems. I didn’t find any details about the TÜV Report yet. Do you have any experience? Many thanks in advance! Alex

Car messages: Are belt messages also displayed in the font?
Hello to each other. In my Volvo I always have a hint of a car message at the start of the vehicle. If I let them show me with Read, I only get the hint that no belt is used in the font. Now I thought that the empty child seat would display a non-shcaled place by pressure, but I don’t have a Sysmbol for strap-on duty or get the same message if no seat is available. And… I can’t delete this message. Infos for Thank you, Gorden.

XC 60, D4: Animals under the bonnet
Yesterday I wanted to remove leaves from the engine compartment and found out that predatory animals had romped out there. Probably a marten. I have to check possible damage to cables or hoses tomorrow at the dealer. The animal anyway has taste, because it deals in my road exclusively with Saab and Volvo. Is there a recommendation for a reliable (!) marten defense device ? On the web there is plenty of material with the greatest promises, but one doesn’t have to believe everything. mfG Frank

Winter complete wheels alternative to org. Volvo searched
Moin, for my V60 (Osmium-Grey, R-Design) I need a new set of winter wheels with rims. Do you have a few recommendations in the 17″ range (215/50 R17), which could be quite good here? The optics always rides with you in winter, too…
