Hello dear Volvo friends, can someone tell me if these chains: RUD Matic 4-0095 Art 45695 fit or are allowed for my XC70? If I see it right, the chains must also be mounted on the rear axle of an AWD vehicle. Is that so? Does anyone have experience with such chains on snow- or ice-covered road? Greetings from Central Hessen!

Convert V60 to spare wheel.
Hello together, at the moment I have the tyre patch set in my V60, which I would like to exchange for a spare wheel. Reasons for this are, a) it has expired and wants to have half a fortune for the renewal, b) I don’t really trust the pampe, what helps the stuff if I scrape the flank somewhere in Lapland… Which parts do I have to trade here for or buy? Somewhere I had read that it also needs a special trunk floor, Is that true? By the way, if you’ve got the whole thing flying around with you and want to exchange/sell it, give me thanks for the help and many greetings

Question to V70 drivers
I am currently driving a BMW e61 525d lci. What bothers me is the maintenance intervals, which always have something to beep at 3otkm a year (inspection, oil, brake front, rear,..), moreover, the insurance is considerably more expensive than Volvo. What does this look like with a V70 from 2007 on with similar driving performance: Are there also many criteria queried in different rhythms or is there still that the only good all 30tkm requires an inspection? What is there about the Zuv Allowability of the diesel incl. electronics/filters/auxiliaries etc.? Does anyone have any experience in comparison with diesel-combis Volvo/Audi/Mercedes/BMW?

“You get the 2017 model! ” Delivery delays due to model year XC60 2017?
Hello together, I ordered my car at the beginning of February, in the KV it was called, delivery KW 15. Now Volvo consoles me on June, how nice. The delay should have to do with the new model year 2017, my car falls already in this new model year. Does any of you know what changes there are for the new model year? Here is the letter from the sale: “The exact delivery date of your new Volvo XC60 is still unknown to me, the delivery delay results from that Volv o has made a production conversion for the new model year 2017. Your car is already running in the 2017 production year, which will have a positive effect on resale.” So. I don’t know exactly what to do with this info…? Lg and thank you!

XC60 internal 3G modem upgrade possible?
Hello together, after Deutsche Telekom has taken out many 3G transmitters since the end of April TuneIn is only limited fun. The 3G cover has become miserable and the modem often loses the connection or can’t log in badly at all. Of course, the whole thing is quite counterproductive for RTTI too! Does anyone know here whether you can replace the installed 3G modem for a 4G? That would be – if it keeps my preferred choice in the price setting. then an LTE stick with external antenna as a Wifi hotspot and the Volvo over it to let into the net. Or could one use the antenna connection of the internal 3G modem? Where can I get the power for the stick then (the USB socket in the center console usually occupied a stick with audio books or music … The suitcase a 12V socket would be a possibility … but then I would have to use a distribution box if necessary, since in summer often a cooling box is connected during excursions … the stick can The other network operators are also switching off 3G … 2021/22 is supposed to be completely switched off … and I will probably not be the only one who didn’t lease his Volvo but bought it … he is now 5 1/2 years old and should stay with me for many more years … I’m not going to be the only one who bought his Volvo …

I wait and wait and wait – delivery deadline exceeded Volvo XC60 2014 and 2015 respectively
I ordered a Volvo XC60 MJ2014 Kinetic D3 Geartronic at the end of March as an EU import. As a non-binding delivery time, 10-12 weeks were mentioned by contract. From the beginning of July I started to ask the dealer and was constantly comforted. The car would have to come at any time, it could not take long. At the end of July I got the information by e-mail that the car was scheduled for delivery and would arrive on September 23rd. However, I would receive the model 2015. Since then I have reacted No one can answer my questions at the dealer. Mails are not answered, on telephone inquiries I am told that the clerk is on vacation and that I cannot be informed. The car can roll to the yard every day but you would not get any information from Volvo when exactly that happens. O-Ton, if that is not enough for me as an information, I can now and immediately withdraw from the purchase contract by telephone. problem – my old car doesn’t have a green environmental badge and I can’t drive it in the inner city anymore (live in the middle of the Ruhr area, so almost all the environmental zone), the Tüv has now also expired and I expect him a child a few days and can’t take care of a replacement car after that. This to explain why I’m really sitting here on hot coals!!! You all have no glass ball, I know, I’m more interested in an assessment of my location: Is it possible that the delivery of the Volvo is delayed really so long? Do the dealers get no intermediate information from Volvo, when the car rolls out of the factory gate? Since when is the version 2015 delivered? I have found contradictory information on the net. I would be grateful for an assessment!!!

Brake pads EBC?
On the other hand, as slowly as I have to think about new brake pads in front, brake discs 300 mm. Normal ATE are certainly not a bad choice, but I also think about ATE Ceramic, wg. less brake dust. Furthermore, I have read about EBC pads in various forums, Black stuff or Green Stuff, which should also produce less brake dust. Someone already had relevant experiences with the S/V60? Oh, brake discs are still ok, I’m just talking about the pads. Greetings from the Bergis , Ralph

Conversion backlights V70 / XC 70
Hello, have read the article by MaChristen and must say: RESPEKT !!! I also want to rebuild my backlights, but use the old ones further. So NO conversion to MJ 2014. What I want is a conversion of the brake lights to my 2008 model. I like that when the light is switched on the brake lights also light up. Then would look similar, like the new model. That should be possible by using a resistance, which ensures that the brake lights The question is whether someone has already done this, and what resistance I have to do for it. This conversion does not have any benefit, I would simply like that And no- here in Norway I would not get any problems with this conversion with the local “TUEV” Thank you in advance for your answers.

XC60 Purchase decision
Good day I hope you can explain to me the exact difference of the two XC60 which are in the appendix. Both vehicles are leasing for 1 year with 30000km and with winter tyres. The price of the all-wheel drive 6 gear is expensive. Option 1: Volvo XC60 Summum D4 S (front) 190PS Diesel 8 gear automatic Osmium-Grey-Metallic Option 2: Volvo XC60 Summum D4 A (all-wheel drive ?) 190PS Diesel 6 gear automatic Onyx-Black-Metallic Lesath rims Do both cars sound the same? fun ? Which would you choose ? I like both the colors, the rims are of course a lot nice Are both 4 clocks ? Thanks in advance

Software for cheating
Hello, I bought the last 5-cylinder diesel (MY17) because I still like the engine. Due to the ongoing discussion I wonder if there could also be a booty of ware installed at Volvo like at VW/Audi. Furthermore, I ask myself, from when I have to expect Euro 6 but without AdBlue technology also with driving bans. For your opinions thank you in advance!
