We have a new order for V60 this year. The VEA D3 150hp with 8-speed Geartronic has come to my eye. It’s definitely an alternative. How do you see it, is it really an alternative to my 163hp fifth? Door lock causes problems V70 III 2011
Moin Got a problem with my driver’s door. Yesterday I wanted to drive to the Baltic Sea. Stepped in, door closed, lock does not cling the door. Trying to lock the locking mechanism with a key does not work. The mechanism works smoothly. Ok, even with the Volvo something breaks. So on to the Volvo dealer. Hardly driven to the yard of the dealer the lock works again (about 8 km). Ok, so on to the Baltic Sea. Was a nice day. Today again the same game. All The spook is already over after 300m. The door contact switch works. If I close the door far enough, the interior lighting goes off, the hint in the AI disappears until I close the door less strongly. Someone knows where the problem lies? I haven’t read out the missing memory yet. LG Ralph

XC60 D4 AWD – Fuel input into engine oil?
Hi guys, I’ve got a 2016 XC60 D4 AWD, i.e. the 2,4 5-cylinder. The last few days I’ve noticed again and again that something red flashed in the instrument cluster very briefly. If it could only look from the angle of the eye, it was straight out again. I then flipped back in the manual to find out what might be at this point for a warning light. Could be the red warning triangle. In the messages however, nothing is in it. I then checked the oil level and showed the instrument cluster. t max, with the message “overcrowded”. Now I am surprised that there has not been an error message yet. And second I wonder how the oil level can rise? Did this problem initially occur with my C70 D5. Then there was the problem with the fuel input into the engine oil when the free burning of the DPF was interrupted. But that was switched off with a software update. Does anyone know if there is still the problem? I can’t think of any other reason why the engine oil is multiplying so much or can the oil level sensor be defective? Let’s see what the workshop still says about it today.

A common consumption error
Hello, I have a problem and need your help! My XC60D3 usually needs 7.5l per 100km, if the engine is lukewarm and you roll without pressing the accelerator pedal, the momemtan consumption falls to 0.00l. If you stop the hour consumption is 0.5 to 0.6l. Sometimes – and within the last 8 days more often – it happens that the consumption is 4.5-7.8l and if you stand 1.8l-3.4l. It does not affect the driving behaviour. If you stop, the engine stops, the S Takes out the clump, opens the door and stops for 2 minutes, this symptom is gone again – at least until now. My question is quite simple: what can this lie on and what is to be checked?

I would like to sign the lease agreement tomorrow morning, but wanted to get my opinion from you experts again. D4 Summum List price: 54900 € Duration: 12 months Km Performance: 20000 km Monthly Rate 275€ Transfer costs: 795€ (66€/month, you have to take into account the short run times) I have to pay the e 12 months taken, since it was 25€ cheaper (transfer costs included) than to lease over 36 months, so I can change the car every year and possibly switch to the new model. What do you think about it? Acceptable or should I renegotiate? Thank you for your opinions.

Volvo V70 III D3(150hp) or D4 (181hp)
Hello together, I’ve signed up here to find someone who can tell me what the new D3 diesel with 150hp is like. Would have been on the 181hp D4 but a Volvo dealer nearby just has a leasing offer for the D3 150hp and I wonder if the motorization is too undermotorized with the weight? Vllt is already driving one of you the new D3 or can help me otherwise in the decision For the purpose of large trunk is only the choice between Octavia RS Co mbi, Ford Mondeo from (2013-14, so not the new one). Because of preference and positive experiences with my neighbor with several Volvo models, we would probably accept the additional price for the Mondeo.
