  • Leather steering wheel material defects?

    Moin, today when driving up a lot of me, that the leather on the steering wheel is “porous” on a length of about 10cm. So it is clear to feel, at least if one strokes with the hand in one direction over it. Is there something known? Can such a thing be “mal”? Will Volvo exchange the steering wheel on guarantee, the car is only one and a half years old. Be present tomorrow at the friendly presentation.

  • Driver door no longer pops when closing.

    When I close my driver’s door with my XC70, it sounds more and more metallized lately. The usual sound of a la Plopp is no longer there. I have therefore solved the door trap for a trial and laid it about 2mm inwards and tightened it. Now it is again popping but the door is no longer flush with the body, but just this 2mm further in it. Can it be that the door seal is already flattened and therefore no longer works as a buffer t? A new rubber costs 100 euros. Too much to change on suspicion. Thank you.

  • Xc60 2011 – Audio high performance sound tuning

    After the disappointment about the very unhomogeneous sound of the plant, I researched for some time what one can do with reasonable effort. (Different Volvos previously with satisfactory audio sound) Helix PP50 dsp seemed to be the most appropriate candidate. After searching for dealers with converted vehicle for prior/after determination, I took the step today. The result is convincing, if it mercilessly reveals the defective high altitude in the mirror triangle. arvt. A more detailed description follows. Prior- No cable is cut.   • Volvo V70(3) tailgate no longer opens – troubleshooting

    Good evening, since today the tailgate no longer opens. When the remote control is activated, only the doors clack, but the tailgate remains closed. The switch at the side under the tank unlocking does not change anything. I did not have a lock to the right of the license plate lamp (seen from behind). Inside there is also no unlocking option (although only at the 3rd seat available). The tailgate is not shown as open (in the dashboard). g…no idea – is warm enough. In the trunk is a fuse box with 2 relays. One clacks probably 3 times in a row when you close(?) but also not every time. Both are in any case spoulentechnically in order (approx. 80 ohms). The fuses are ok. Next to it is probably the wire harness, which goes up to the tailgate. I could get there if I knew which wire is responsible for the unlocking. I have now put a hole in the disguise of the tailgate itself. There is a 6-pin plug directly where there are 4 wires in it. Can you do something? I suspect that when the switch is activated above the license plate, there is some kind of unlocking, but I don’t know if it only works if the central unlocking was also successful for the tailgate. I can’t reach the switch in the tailgate for the first time, I didn’t want to cut more holes in the tailgate. The fact that the plastic cover does not go out with the switch. Addition: the tailgate is not electric – only manual operation … well, except for the switch. I would have measuring instruments here and as an electrician too, since even something to make – at least until a necessary spare part is there – is already stupid without a flap… I heard about car electrics and their special features and can wuss me in there, but I lack the plan.     Greetings! On the way from work to home, the fat guy didn’t pull any more when speeding up today. The engine turns quite normally, the automatic also switches inconspicuously. It’s just as if someone “holds” it. Mei Kickdown turns it up to over 4000, it hardly happens anything, but it runs quite tough up to the 100 (faster I didn’t try it anymore). There is no warning message. After parking, make out and wait a few minutes he was again unobtrusive, for about a kilometer. , then the same thing.   • Polestar T6 tuned to 95 or 98 octan ??

    I’ve been on the road a little faster the last few days, and I’ve noticed a slight jerking while accelerating under load. No real dropouts, but clearly noticeable with load over 5000 revolutions. I’ve filled the last few times Super 95, but to have read my somewhere, Polestar would be tuned to Super Plus. I can’t find anything about it, but I’ve noticed that there are a few T6 Polestars on the road. I think I’m good?! Maybe someone knows more s. I will take Aral 102 or V Power at the next tank.   • Motos from after a short SH – do you know that too?

    Good morning, I observed a phenomenon this morning the second time: In the S80II the heater switched on too late by remote control, after 7 minutes the engine started (before SH switched off), immediately goes off again after starting.   • Premium Sound Subwoofer really noticeable?

    Hello dear community I drive an XC60 D5 with premium sound and am actually very enthusiastic about the system and enjoy long rides (not only because of the system). Now I wanted to adjust the settings this morning and I noticed that there are practically no differences when adjusting the subwoofer intensity. If I’m honest, I almost have to imagine that something is changing. If I turn the bass all the way down and the subwoofer I get massive more pressure from the normal speakers (with the bass level at 20 – 30%) than from the maximum setting of the subwoofer. As I said, I’m actually satisfied with the premium sound, but wonder if that’s normal? How is it with you? Since I have a service appointment next Tuesday I wanted to pick up your opinion if I should address this or if I’m rather embarrassed Best greetings b asler

  • PCC unlock key

    Hello, just a little something… I just wanted to know if the unlock button of your PCCs, or vehicle keys – just like me – has a small, but clearly visible “booking”. Does that fit like that, or is there something broken? The function is not affected by it anyway. I’m not sure if this was so from the beginning, since the Keyless go of the PCC is only in the pocket. Thank you very much! LG, Mathias.
