  • [XC 66] (missing) storage options

I would like to know where you put your daily Krimskrams (car park card, gate remote control, shopping cart coin, etc.) I always have my things in the compartment under the middle armrest or the cup holder. But after I have now been deleted twice the magnetic strip of the car park card completely, I don’t think that’s a good idea anymore. I have to say that I have Keyless Entry – obviously “disrupts” here the antenna installed in the center console. But where then There’s nothing else, except behind the center console and the dashboard…

  • Meal is then there

Servus together , To my person . I am 36 and come from near Heidelberg . I grew up with Renault (R5 Turbo , Fuego Turbo , Laguna , Megane RS etc ) . To Volvo I knew up to now only a comparison word …. “”Panzer” ” but I was taught a better … It is about an XC60 which I now call my own . Is a leasing backer from the company . 2013, D5 AWD (215PS ) , Polar White , 6-speed manual transmission , R design , inside completely black incl. the rear disks , All wheel , Dual-Xe non, auxiliary heating, family comfort and business package Pro, High Performance Multimedia and Navi got a total flow rate of 130000km and with 70,000 n new engine. (piston eaters because the oil was too thin). Yes anyway I have now 3 weeks in possession and must say TOP. Processing in the interior and quietness of the engine are really great. Consumption is with 7-8l acceptable but what I really appreciate about the Fzg are the seats !! pure mutilation and feel good …. What I in the H interkopf still rumschwirt is an abnehmmb. AHK and sound-technically diverse. other boxes or something.

  • Official re-presentation

Hello Fangemeinde! Now it’s finally time and I can introduce you to my new baby. First a few dates about the XC60: D4 Ocean Race, hand switch business, light, comfort, loader room package BLIS Four C suspension premium sound side panels made of laminated glass parking aid vo+hi with camera seats and mirror heated emergency bike My first impression after 600 km is very positive. The engine is very quiet and amazingly elastic, has enough power and I drive already at approx. 7.2 l diesel per 100 The 6-speed manual transmission is so crisp that I enjoy every gear change. The drivers with GT definitely miss something. The Four C in conjunction with the 18″ is very well tuned and, depending on the mode, is sufficiently comfortable or tight. I had a Citroen with hydropneumatic suspension before and am the comfortable driver. But the XC is just as good on the road. The Vera is also very comfortable. rbeitung is on high level and I like the interior with the Nordic simplicity very much. Finally a few pictures in uncleaned condition. Greeting

  • Ambient lighting!!

Hello wanted to know if you can activate an ambient lighting (at least with Audi so) or do you have to install extra lamps there somehow? If you don’t know what I mean it’s a lighting inside the vehicle that lights up while driving in the inside room zb in the footroom !!!

  • v70 2.4D – Timing belts themselves changed, punitive work!!!

Yesterday I changed the timing belt with water pump and all associated side belts as well as tensioning rollers myself. For this I had ordered the new V70-Diesel book from Haynes from England. Everything became good, but honestly I had imagined this easier. Unfortunately I did not have a stage, therefore everything from the floor. When the upper engine bearing was removed the engine slid down. Then I caught the whole with a jack and a board under the oil tank. The biggest problem, however, was the place. Extending pulleys and tensioning rollers is the madness. I don’t even have thick hands! The coronation was then the water pump. The old one went out, somehow, but the new one should of course be installed without damage. There was only this one way from above and I certainly took half an hour. Finally I had forgotten a screw for the belt protection, but the pulley on the crankshaft was already again f est. I had tried everything, but no chance to put the screw on without further dismantling of the belt disc. In the end, there were some more things that made the whole thing a bit difficult. It took me 10 hours until the engine ran again.

  • Diesel compensation for Volvo V60 D3 Year of manufacture: 2016

What about Volvo with a claim for compensation for the diesel scandal? Is there anything you can get?

  • Installation of custom-made automotive faux leather seat covers

Since I could never make friends with my fabric seats with torn faux leather sidewalls, I was looking for a solution to the dilemma. The prices for Volvo original covers are unacceptablely expensive… Finally I found here:https://designbege.de/product-category/car seatbege/volvo/ and thought to myself, you risk that now just once. Delivery time 2 months (they are still made original Volvo cut patterns!), price 340€ for my version (the covers may can be designed as desired (colors, patterns, seams, material). Here are some impressions of the old state:

  • Service costs XC60 in Switzerland / Free service?

Hello dear forum a question to the XC60 drivers in Switzerland. Volvo offers under the label “Swiss Premium” various free services – free service up to 150 000 km or 10 years – warranty up to 150 000 km or 5 years – wear repairs up to 150 000 km or 3 years I would like to know about experience values and the “small print” from practice. – How high are the costs for the regular annual service on average? – Which part of this is really low by “Swiss Premium” I would be very grateful for a few practical examples. I am checking whether I should buy or import an XC60 Momentum D3 / D4 here in Switzerland. When importing I have “only” the 2-year factory warranty. If I drive the car for 10 years, the service costs already play a role. Addition: my driving performance is about 8000 km / year, half short distance, half long distance Thank you, Peter

  • Refuelling problems

Hello! I drive a V60 T5 Bifuel from 2017. I’ve had a problem with petrol for a short time. The fuel doesn’t flow fast enough, so the pump gun jumps out permanently. It’s really annoying! It doesn’t matter how full the tank is. I was with the friendly one for inspection today and have indicated the problem. According to Volvo, no such problems are known. And with a rough inspection in the workshop nothing was found. Now I have on Friday again an appointment where you want to look in the tank with endoscopes. Has anyone ever had such a problem here? Thanks for info’s! Greetings from the Bavarian Wals
