Moin Moin, we are planning an elkland trip with trailer. I would prefer to put an emergency bike in the trunk, as our Rednose elchi is equipped only with the breakdown set. It is an emergency bike from the VOLVO v 70 rim 4.00 BX 15×57, which I can borrow temporarily. Elchi is equipped with 20″ rims. Moin together, what kind of summer tires do you ride on your 18 inch? I’m looking for new summer tires in size 245/40/18. Have the Uniroyal Rainsport2 on it, but after about 2 have started to pollen at 50-60 km/h. Now after 6 years new ones are due. Were also generally very loud. A new episode from the series “how do I describe a noise” My XC60, MJ2014, D4, FWD, hand switch only lets sporadically hear a single short “tock” when starting. The noise only comes when driving off and definitely from the front car and (apparently) only when I was driving for a while before.The suspicion was on the drive shaft, a mechanic shook on it during a tyre change and meant that it would be ok. Hello dear community, I intended to install / install a Dashcam system (Blackvue DR650GW-2CH) in my V60. The installation should be “clean” as far as possible, i.e. without visible cables. Due to the existing head/side airbags, however, I am uncertain whether the project can be realized at all. In addition to the laying of the power cable to the safety box (battery monitor is included) along or behind the panel of the A-pillar, also the laying the coexal cable to the rear camera along the edge of the roof sky. If necessary, a specialist workshop should be able to operate a partial dismantling of the roof sky. Has any of you been able to gain experience with the installation of Dashcams in the V60? Bzw. can any of you give an assessment or feasibility against the background of the installed airbags? I have already asked the surrounding Volvo contract workshops about this. Also the estimates regarding the feasibility of the roof sky differed far (from absolutely no problem to absolutely impossible). For the installation everything was also there for the price, from 200 EUR to 600 EUR ;-). I am concerned about the clean cable laying with connection of +/- & ignition impulse in the fuse box, installation and setup of the camera then I do it myself. I really ask myself what the workshops for hourly rates retrieve (clear, overhead costs etc.) ., but nevertheless – all academics in the workshop?). For other vehicles would probably be 1.5 to max. 2 hours usual. Thank you in advance!

Hello I’ve been driving Pirelli for 60,000 km all-year tires. Now they’re on the front axle and I need new ones. I didn’t think it would be so difficult. Volvo and another tire service couldn’t find a single size 235-40-18. I also googled it myself and can confirm it. A 3rd tire service was found after a long search. Dr Reifen comes from China and is classified according to tyre service in the middle class. Speed up to 240 km-h. Lt Google ee he good review in many forums. I don’t care about the price. I’d rather have Michelin. But she doesn’t exist. Has anyone already driven this tire? Thanks in advance

Hello together Have a question: There are cars where you can pull out the seat belt on the rear seats completely and then activate a kind of belt lock, i.e. if you let it drive in again slowly, the belt can no longer be pulled out and locked directly, thus also without a fast “Ruck”. This is useful e.g. for attaching a child seat with belt, whereby the child seat holds the child with its own belts. I now have such a child seat on the middle seat. n Fondsitz and did not manage to trigger this “lock mechanism”. Am I simply unable or has not the V60? The seat should also be mounted so safely, since in case of a collision the belt is tightened, however, in normal operation I can move the seat back so naturally forward, which would not be possible with a locked belt.
