Hello Volvisti also I would like to introduce briefly my new acquisition. On Friday I pick him up. It was this time an xc60 D5 AWD GT in R-design. Savile Grey Packages:Business, Driverassi pro, Light, Xenium, Speed Abh. Servo steering, dark windows back and auxiliary heating. I am still running an XC60 summum in Twilight Bronze. Unfortunately, another car driver has pressed in the back part of my car and so the decision for the, really “cool” R-design was quickly liked. I put on a few photos. (Ohne pics geht nix) I am actually reading more than I write here, but I would like to thank you for all the good suggestions and solutions that I could find in the forum over the last years. This time I bought the XC without a test drive. I am very excited about the suspension and the seats in R-design. Rainer

Purchase advice XC 60
Hello together, I’m going to report for the first time and hope that I’m right here. After I’m a VW fan, I really like the XC 60 so much that I’m seriously thinking about changing the “storage”. I’m interested in the D 4 8-Gang Geartronic with 190 hp in the version Summun or Ocean Race. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to drive a D 4 with this motorization yet and therefore hope that I get a recommendation here. I’m interested in the “classic” Onyx Black-Metalic or, if necessary, Bright Silver-Metallic. As far as the tyres are concerned, I’m not sure about the tyres, because I don’t really like the 8 x 18″ rims delivered as standard on the one hand, but the 8 x 20″ rims are likely to affect driving comfort. I’d be grateful if someone could help me or share his experiences.

V60 needs new wheels, 18 inches with all-year tire
Hello together, due to very good experiences with other cars I would like to change my V60 from summer + winter bikes to all-year tires. The look because of 18 inch rims, preferably the Volvo Magni in 8×18. As tires I chose the Vredestein Quatrac 5. The tires are available in 225/40 R18 92Y XL and 235/40 R18 95Y XL. As axle loads I have 1200 and 1050 kg in the vehicle license. With the Magni rims there is a recommendation 235/40, but then I need these steering limiters (I haven’t yet). Can I drive the Magni also with the 225/40s and then do without the steering limiters? Are the 92Y of the 225s enough? Currently 95W are in the vehicle license… What do the steering limiters cost with the V60 with standard drive unit including installation? I look forward to your feedback!

2 questions about my new Volvo V60
Hello Volvo friends, I’m now happy in the new V60. Have a lot of fun. Have everything except heatable rear seats and Sound Premium. I can’t understand or find 2 things as a tech fan! -I turn off the car with the radio, ignition, switch on the radio or the stream from the Eifon again at the next start of the car. So I mean really. The sound is to be heard immediately about the boxes. But I don’t want to and can’t understand it. Have all the settings looked through but can’t find it. -How can I see in the sense, when e.g. the brakes down, the next HU is attached or how the oil level is? The dealer said it will be displayed when it is. But in the Volvo on call you can also see it on the iphone! But what do Kd. without Volvo on call? Otherwise everything is understandable. Thank you very much.

Consumption V60 DRIVe
Hello the V60 DRIVe is stated in the brochure with 4.5 Ltr. consumption. That this will probably be hard to achieve in practice is actually clear to me. With fuel monitor, however, consumptions of some over 7 liters are! Even a D3 comes out with less. What do the experiences here in the forum with the DRIVe look like? Oh yes, at Heico there is a power kit for the DRIVe – after that it consumes also much more. Did always that if there is more torque, it is less acidic??? Thanks and Gruss Stephan

Volvo’s own tuning soon available?
Hello, I was interested in a Heico tuning. Unfortunately, this does not allow my leasing. Now I have learned that there will probably soon be something on the subject of tuning from Volvo. The dealers will probably be informed about this in the next weeks. My current information is that then the dealers themselves can program a volvo-own tuning on the engine control unit. Does anyone know about this any more? My leasing generally does not allow chip tuning for warranty and wear reasons (da Full Service Leasing). Could a volvo-own tuning be an exception, since certainly under warranty and with comparable wear? Generally, in the D5 AWD, which I have more performance possible, what MJ2012 proves (215 hp). There is indicated in the sprint from 0 to 100 7.6 seconds. Half a second less than in the 2011-er. Greeting Andi

Engine control unit D3 defective after 67000 km!
Hello Volvisti, I have the problem that my XC60 with D3 in cold condition is extremely buggy; it jerks enormously and needed more 2500 u/min to drive at all reasonable. So I was friendly and troubleshooting. Well, after almost a week the diagnosis; engine control unit after not even three years defective; km 67000. I should participate with 740€ (40%). I was regularly during the inspections and the manual free burning of the soot particle filter at the beginning of the year by sch… Diesel I also had it done in my home volvo workshop. So I find that very happy. Why buy a more valuable car if it breaks faster than my Mondeo ten years ago?! Has anyone ever had similar experiences? Best regards from Berlin Marc

More consumption S60 II in winter
Hi, so 10 days ago I finally got my winter tyres for my S60 II D3. Not quite the ones I wanted, but still Hanckook W310. One day later it became much cooler, and at night there was also frost. On Monday on it I filled and counted: 6,8l/100km. Yesterday, 400 km later, I had to sit down when I saw the bill: 10l/100km! That’s an increase of about 3 liters to the previous tank filling! I can’t explain this to myself by bare or simple winter tires. At 0.5 liters I wouldn’t even think about it; I would also understand a liter, but at the same time three liters!? What do you have so much increase through the winter tires or the cold weather? Does anyone still have so much?

Delivery time XC60
Hello together, this is my first post here in the forum. I would like to thank you for the countless, great reports here in the forum, which confirmed me in my decision to say goodbye to my Audi. So my XC60, ordered in the KW1 2011(Drive, color white, R-Design, Business-Packet Pro, Comfort-Packet, Winter-Packet Pro, parking aid front and rear, AHK removable, side window from B-pillar darkened, daytime running light, winter tire Cratus 235/60 R18, summer tire Talitha 8×20 diamond cut/dark gray, Heico Chiptuning) should be handed over according to my week (KW13) according to this week. At first KW18 was called as delivery date, was then corrected later on KW13. Said. Last Friday double card, proxy and personal card did not happen to hand over to the car and now it should be done on Friday. Today I get a call that delays the delivery by 2 weeks? I am now doing so? normal? Did I ask you a question? Did I have a good idea?

XC70 III Long-term quality – your experiences?
Hello, my XC70 III (D5 AWD Summum full equipment without VOC and premium sound) will be one year old at the beginning of February. The vehicle in itself still inspires me. However, I’m rather disappointed by the processing of the interior. In concrete terms, I get angry with almost every approach and/or driving over a floor shaft over snoring noises from the free-floating center console and from the cladding of the left B-pillar. In addition, there is a vibrating creaking from the panel of the steering column – when you put your hand on the steering wheel, it stops right away. Do you have similar experiences or do I get unnecessarily upset in your eyes, because this is normal? So, I had an eight-year-old Seat Toledo before, and its interior was absolutely free of snare. That’s why I’m surprised about a vehicle with a list price of 64,000 euros.
