  • Volvo XC60 with Dynaudio: Sound cracks and roars suddenly on all speakers

Hello forum, yesterday I pressed FM in CD operation. Then I chose a stored transmitter (1). And from then on the sound was as if you were with a Fiat Panda in the valley between two mountains. Just rushing, no depths, no highs. Station search did not change anything. So I thought of a defect of the antenna. When I then switched to CD, the sound was identically catastrophic. Also when choosing USB (iphone): rush, crack, on all loudspeakers. Where should di I have Dynaudio. So in the trunk is the subwoofer and under the passenger seat is also something that probably belongs to it? At least the part under the passenger seat is always very warm with longer rides with music operation… I am grateful for every tip!

  • XC60 BJ 2009 AGR valve defective fault, power loss

Had problems with the AGR valve a year ago. The old Swede suddenly had a strong power loss on the highway and allowed almost no acceleration. The next day everything was normal again, only when the engine was warm and for a longer time again was demanded like e.g. highway or free country road, again the problem. This game repeated several times. Error reading -> AGR valve. I make it short, it became expensive, actually too expensive for an old Sweden But I had it done anyway. AGR valve and AGR cooler had to be exchanged, plus the vertebra valve…a nice four-digit amount was then on the bill.

  • What do you think about the Volvo price/performance and does it need a transmission flushing?

This offer I found at AutoScout24.https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…9e6c-678c-447e-9aa5-cf74e9b52d70?… Price: € 6.800,- Kilometer level: 160.000 km First registration: 07/2008 I have seen all documents/invoices about the replacement of the timing belt incl. water pump. Gaveless check booklet, always with the same Volvo dealer! TÜV 03/27 From retired hands. Has a few blessurs. Trusted contact, private! G Is there still something to consider with the offer? The car has been driven the last years approx. 5000km per year. Is there a transmission flush necessary? I drive under 10000km per year track profile mixed. Fuel consumption of 10-12 liters is and is aware. We travel and do not race. Just want to be able to overtake once on the country road. We already had a V70 5cylinder with 140 ps. The car was very comfortable but a bit sluggish. Is the car then something for us. Equipment is good for us. Dan ke forciere Reply. Greeting Erbsi

  • P023600 Charging pressure sensor value too high

Hello to each other! Had problems due to a defective charging pressure sensor which a new sensor unfortunately only partially removed…. And that is the expected charging pressure sensor value in the stand around the 1000 hPa which also coincides with the value of the atmospheric pressure and the suction tube sensor pressure… The sensor value of the new charging pressure sensor shows 1300hPa already in the stand…. Thought ok…. Has the new just ordered a shot… So a second sensor and see there…. Same…. What spu Is there still this sensor value? Do you happen to have a schematic??? Or a ignite idea?

  • Brake caliper front fixed Experience with Skandix Share

Hello together With my V70 D3 Mj. 2014 this week the brake caliper at the front right was defective. Mileage 166tkm. I had already wondered for 3-4 weeks the vehicle at speeds between 80-120km/h time vibrating on the front axle. Thought of course first on the new used winter bikes. Monday but I had to find after a 30Km drive that the rim front right was boiling hot. Tuesday then the brake caliper was broken down. The piston went still here I tried it with a large screw clamp and a piece of hardwood with all the power, but the piston just didn’t go back. I then telephoned with Skandix and asked for their house mark. The seller told me that you can buy the in-house brake calipers without hesitation. They are new parts, so there is no old part pile. Today I changed the brake caliper. Folded without any problems. Had a brake fan from Hazet v This is connected to a compressor and then the brake fluid/air is sucked out of the caliper. What experience do you have with Skandix brake parts especially the brake calipers?

  • Volvo v60 I diesel engines

Hello together, since we are about to have the first child, we want to buy (of course) a Volvo. The choice has fallen on the V60 with diesel. Unfortunately, for me the engine range is a bit confusing; if I understand that correctly, the engines were changed at some point BJ15. What is not clear to me: have all the engines since this conversion Euro 6 and all before Euro 5? Has otherwise big something changed? Theoretically, the consumption of the newer engines should be slightly less unfortunately this also seems not to be quite clear to the car dealerships, we looked at today first a supposed Euro 6 which then only had Euro 5… Specifically it is also about: We just took a V60 D2 Ocean Race with EZ12/2015 here in the corner into the closer choice, which is specified by the seller with 115hp and Euro6 – is this combination at all possible? Shouldn’t a Euro6-D2 have 120hp?

  • V70 causes high costs

Hello Volvo driver I have been driving a used V70 III 2,4d with 175hp and GT Built 10/2009 since 2013. With now 206000km. I am actually very satisfied with the car. I went on holiday in mid-June. I was barely 30Km on the road when the message appeared in the display “Particle filter full, engine system maintenance required. The car then only ran in the emergency program. I then drove back to the workshop where the particle filter was regenerated. Since I did not have an extreme He said that the injectors may be worn out and that too much fuel will get into the combustion chambers. I could continue my holiday drive, however, because on the highway the particulate filter will be hot enough and will not get too busy. I then drove almost 600km to Kiel, without any problems. I then went by ferry to Sweden and then on to Norway. I drove a total of approx. 5000km on holiday without any problems with the car, except perhaps an increased fuel consumption. But I had noticed it for months. Back in Germany I brought my car to the Bosch service, so that the injectors were tested and cleaned. A few hours later I received a call from the Bosch service that all 5 injectors are defective and I need 5 new ones. According to the test protocol from the Bosch service: nozzle tips are heavily coked, the volume flow not in Order. No injector coding received. I understood this in such a way that the injectors were cleaned and tested and received a new IMA code (IMA=InjectorQuantitiesComparison). In my case, however, the values were out of tolerance, which is why new injectors had to be installed. The whole fun then cost me 240€. The engine runs again great, but the consumption is higher than before. I used to drive with an average of just under 7.2L/100Km. Now I am so At 7,7L-8L/100km. According to a master of the Bosch Service and a car master of my Volvowekstatt, the engine should not have run with these defective injectors at all. However, as I said, I drove without problems 5000km on holiday. Odd or? I hope that there will be no major repairs in the near future. Despite all this, this is a great car with a powerful motor, with plenty of space, very comfortable on long journeys.

  • Klappern and Scheppern with loud music

Since I had enjoyed the premium sound system, I also want to write something about it briefly, is the 3rd contribution and then it is enough for today. It bothers me, that with bass and loud music everything is scraping. Above all door panels and B-pillar knärzt. Does someone have an idea, except to turn the music down? I don’t have the problem with radio music, no DAB. But only with the iphone, I hardly hear CD, so I don’t know, are only songs of Itunes loaded, therefore no self-created M P3 ́s. I would still understand the lack. But it’s so shaky in the side paneling that it sometimes gets annoying. Also I have to say the XC60 is rather a small flap-relch. But is also a lot of technical stuff on board. But when I drive the mini convertible of my wife, then I honestly fear that the car falls apart and that is also only 1st year old and has not even 10000 km… Only otherwise it was always so quiet in the Volvo… it is here and there. safety belt, sometimes the cover of the engine at certain speeds… small things about what other brands offer so. whining at a high level. And the design is simply hot…there is no nicer SUV on the market at the moment. That’s what you have to leave to the guys from Volvo who are currently building really nice cars… considering how boring a golf comes along and that for more than 30 years.

  • Need decision support V60

Hello community maybe it’s the same for one or the other…… shall I strike? So, on offer I have a V60 D3 summum Geartronic, actually everything in it that I enjoy and no one needs Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the V60 with 205 hp is the most, the other two so 163 and 215 hp are almost the same again. I tried the fuel monitor and so came to my subjective assessment. Can anyone confirm that? The rims of the V70 don’t fit, so I heard? A preheating can’t be activated/refitted somehow? So this design thing is the alu-colored rear, can you mount it afterwards? Do I have to pay attention to anything else? Software updates should be made due to Multimedi a Schnickschnack be up-to-date, I let myself be told. Thank you, for one or another answer! Greeting Oliver

  • XC60 Front tyres unevenly worn …

Dear forum, with my XC60, the front tyres are approaching the end of their legal condition. Here in AT are the 1.6 mm minimum profile depth. When parking – when the front wheels are hit – I now notice that the inside side is significantly stronger than the outside side. Delta approx.1 – 1.5 mm. Is on both sides (i.e. left and right front wheel) about the same. Now my question? Is that also so with you? Anyone noticed and talked about it? Many Dan k for your feedback P.S.: Basically this is clear to me with fall, track, follow-up etc. …
