Hello, I’ve been driving since repurchasing the car 2.4 D, now at 260,000 km. It consumes 2-3 years rising more motor oil, about 1.5 lit / 10,000km. Has anyone experience whether it is normal ? Thanks from Vienna !

Volvo V60 B4/D4 Purchase advice with focus on mileage
I would like to buy a Volvo V60 Diesel and need some experience reports from you, as the search function has not brought me any further. A V60 with diesel engine from BJ 2018 is planned, my budget is 20-23,000 euros. After some research I have chosen the “big” diesel engines for me, i.e. the 190 or 197 hp machine with an automatic transmission. Now the market of course gives many variants: few KM + little equipment + BJ 2018 = approx. . 20k€ 100-120k KM + little equipment + BJ 2018 = ca. 15-17k € 150-200k KM + full equipment + BJ 2020 and newer = ca. 22k € My question would now be like your experiences with “high” running performance. Currently I tend to be a leasing back runner with a high long distance share, but with a better equipment (for me interesting panoramic roof, headup display, Harma Kadon sound system). Thank you and greetings from the heart of the Ruhr area.

Oil level measuring rod XC60 3.0 T6 MY2014
Hello together, in the user manual and also in the net I find only very different representations of the measuring range on the oil measuring rod. I photographed the thing, but can not do anything with the whole XX, which are engraved on it. How to understand this? I measured 15 minutes after a ride. Thank you and greeting

Car image Permanent test V60 D2 over 100,000 km: Note 1-
Today’s Auto Bild includes a permanent test of the V60 D2, which completed a distance of 100,000 km almost impeccable and thus received the grade 1. The only lack was a total failure of the infotainment system at km stand 15,997, the system was revived by update. In conclusion it says: “Small engine, large car – the V60 is not a chief dynamician, but a comfortable travel combi with extremely high range. Solid quality and high quality workmanship correspond to the high price The Volvo. Only the infotainment system didn’t convince us – and provided for the only permanent test defect.”Motor components: D4 (181 hp): 34.7% D2 (114 hp): 19.9% D3 (136 hp): 18.7% D5 (215 hp): 12.7% T3 (150 hp): 5.2 % D6 AWD (plug-in hybrid): 2.8 % D5 AWD: 2.2 % T4 (180 hp): 1.5% D4 AWD: 1.3% T6 AWD (304 hp): 0.5 % T5 (245 hp): 0.5 %gear: 48.7% manual gearbox, 45.9% automatic, 5.4% power shift.Colours: sapphire black metallic: 24.0% Savile grey metallic: 15.1% black: 16.5 % Caspian Blue Metallic: 9.5% Polar White: 8.3%Equipment variants: Base: 2.2% Kinetic: 27.8% Momentum: 29.5% Summum: 19.5% R-Design Kinetic: 14.5% Ocean Race: 6.5%

Engine smells of rubber after acceleration
Servus to the Volvo family. My name is Thomas and I have become the proud owner of an S60 T6. The car is a reimport from Canada. Year of manufacture 2016. Questions would be, engine smells like rubber after acceleration. What could this be? Voice recognition without function. Can you retrofit it? Speed limiter only goes up to 210 km/h. Would a lifting be possible? I have to say that I bought the car WITHOUT trial drive and inspection. I can only say good things to the dealer. I would be happy to receive a few feedbacks. Nice greeting from the beautiful Weinstraße, Thomas.

Sensus o. globe update does not work
Moin, on the other hand, let me download the corresponding IAM-up-date from Volvo to download the current Sensus Navi software. On Stick- 64 GB- the current update, 21 GB, is downloaded. When playing up in the vehicle, however, zero happens. The stick initially flashes when switching on the Navi- that was then also. no reaction of the Navi to the stick. However, software is on the stick- I have formatted with NTSC and exFat. Any idea?

Hyundai Santa Fe Facelift versus XC60
Hello, has anyone already considered making a Santa Fe compared to the XC60? I got an advance offer today, where the Santa Fe Facelift with 197hp 2.2 diesel with new 6 gear automatic in premium equipment instead of regular price approx. 42,000€ for almost 30,000€ can be imported. The (official!!) dealer said that the vehicles are all imported, but he offers directly from abroad and thus bypasses the sales structure. I mean compared to the XC an unbeatable offer, with the equipment and the size of the vehicle! I think here the XC90 can hold just like that and with the new motorization you don’t need to hide, see here http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/…-im-januar-2010-1482619.html The current 2.2 CRD with 2Wheel and without leather offers the dealer new for 18.00€! Where nice there is so much car for so little money? Not even at Dacia! Before now everything hits me, I will au f make a test drive in any case, because an XC60 will not stand for less than 45,000 € in the equipment on the yard and in the snow with us in the Allgäu I have to worry more and more about a 4WD. Have a nice evening together.

Experience report: Battery empty by stationary heating
Hello, today my V70 had to get started after the battery did not deliver enough power to the start. The friendly helper of the ADAC quickly led the cause to the frequent use of the original installed heater in combination with a lot of short distance operation. I can understand that because we often drive only 3-4 km in the city and let the heater run for 10-15 minutes before. Therefore, it is clear to me that the battery does not last forever! Ziemlic h I am therefore disappointed by the technical implementation at Volvo. Actually, the heater should have been switched off in time so that the car can still be started. However, there was at no time a corresponding indication in the display. Too bad! In the next days I will have to test the battery and the battery. Greetings, ss363

Problems with electronics
Hello dear Volvo V60 driver, we bought a Volvo V60 in August 2015 via Mobile .de. As far as everything is super, top maintained, almost 70000 run multifunction steering wheel,Bluethooth, Navi, alarm system, removable trailer clutch,Start Stop automatic! Are then a week later on the holiday…everything great! Since autumn, however!Start Stop automatic sparks..no more…Heating is constantly confused… Was then in the workshop a year warranty from Autoha us! So there was a software update made and then it did again…. A few days later the same mucken again….have brought the now two weeks ago again for three!!!Days in the workshop, it was called several sotware updates and a complete update! Drive away from the car dealership and am halfway, there did en the two !!!12 volt batteries to connect for the mobile phone no more,DSTC was out, Start Stop did not work yet the next day….Car dealership was of course too weekend! I could really vomit because if the problem persists after the year will be really expensive!!! Besides, I have the feeling that the car dealership does not take me seriously, there came a saying of yes to see if Volvo takes over this! I know that the start stop system does not work at low temperatures, but they were not given!!! Besides, I did not wear air conditioning where it then already does not work! Now good advice is expensive and no I have no right chutzversicherung…I’m going to get them!Do you have any advice or does this happen more often with this model????
